No lies whatsoever. And the reason that I didn’t mention the several tens of millions of people who died during World War II is that they died as a result of a war. For sure, it was a war of aggression wage by Germany, Japan and Italy, and we did put people like Albert Spear and various German generals and the German foreign minister on trial for waging aggressive war. Today we call that crimes against humanity. But dying in a war is different than being purposely selected based on your heritage for extermination. You have to understand that women, children, old people, and even infants were targeted and massacred by the millions. That is categorically different from dying in a war, though in each case the person is just as dead. I was addressing Abiding Dude’s moronic, false and hateful comments - because “the Holocaust” refers to that purposeful selection and genocide.
WRT WW2, one of my grandfathers volunteered at age 35, because he was an immigrant and thought that he owed something back to this country. He was also a doctor, and he helped to save many lives. Every one of my uncles also served, as did every other mail of age in my extended family. One of them that I know of died during the war, as a result of injuries suffered in battle. I have long thought that we need to remember these veterans and their sacrifice, as well as those from every other war in our history. We are free because of those people and what they did for us.
As for being “woke,” I am the furthest thing from it that you can imagine. I have had many supposed friends and many people in my extended family cut off contact with me because they don’t like the ideas that I spout, ideas which are just traditional, American or traditional moral values. Wokeism is a mental disorder, and I am not a victim of it.
