The list of cases that have been subject to excessive cost and years of delay because the Supremes will only take up a very limited number of cases to fit into their schedule is a miscarriage of justice. Way too much time is wasted studying prior cases and precedents when the plain, easily understood language of the Constitution is all that is needed to decide a case.
