Re: "doombloggers are almost certainly psyoperators, purposely dispiriting people."

Exactly.

The newest highly dangerous occupation in America is "social media influencer".

Dangerous to others, never themselves. It should be the other way around. But as a word, it is incredibly apt. Influencer. Roll it off the tongue. It portrays that every person that follows them, is an imbecile and need to be influenced. And it makes themselves out to be the snake oil salesman of the late 19th century. Like the wizard of oz.

Roll it off the tongue: follower.

Somehow that one slipped by a lot of people.

And what were people that had great influence over others in the past? We called them an inspiration. Humanity has fallen. Not a gloom and doom, just think about that term for a minute.

We can still stealthily inspire. We need to make deliberate every action—give it to God for good.

This morning received a message thru my website. An ‘influencer’ wanted me to post his blog on education, on my website. What?

I reported it as spam 🤫

Didn’t even bother to check out whether he was woke or not, it’s my website, selling products, nothing to do with education in any way! 🤪

When I read doomy whingy posts, I cannot help but conclude that the poster is a fool or a troll. I'm not saying a person is a fool for feeling down once in a while-- but they sure are a fool if they come online to drag everyone else down. I mean, what team are you on?? Once in a while I answer with some positive note about the many underreported legislative victories, otherwise, I treat it like a cockroach in a friend's kitchen. Ignore.

People can lose heart - become disheartened.

They need en-couragement. (Cour meaning heart). Give them their a heart back, strengthen their hearts and will.

I agree... and on reflection, my comment is too harsh... still, I suspect that the overwheming majority of those whingy downer comments are placed by paid trolls.

Yes. They hate themselves and want to bring you down to their level of despair.

I disagree. Sometimes a person feels depressed from all the news we read and just want to share with people who will understand because of similar political/religious ideas. People can't do it at work or with acquaintances and it isnt small talk people will want to hear at church coffee either. The internet is often the only safe source of sharing these days. 🤷✌️

Sharing is good. Just guard against ‘wallowing’ in it.

True. My family doesn’t want to talk with me about current events or anything that could be considered even remotely political....
