But even in those states, you can and MUST carry your ballot to the recorders office minimizing the chance they will manipulate it. Doesn't mean it wont be changed by corrupt election workers but you can minimize it by NEVER putting your ballot in the mail and not dropping it anywhere but at the county recorders office. Is that a pain to take it there? Yep! Is doing everything you can to minimize election fraud worth it, yes, 100% YES.

Here in Oregon. Can I take my ballot in earlier than Nov 5th, or do I have to wait until election day? I hear conflicting advice on the timing.

Karen, call your county Supervisor of Elections office and ask.

You can take your ballot in any time during the "early ballot" period in your state.

The timing is touchy, if everyone drops off too soon, then the election manipulators know way too early how many fraud ballots they need to drop to win the elections they want to win. On the other hand, if you wait too late they will assume you are not going to vote and vote for you. My suggestion is to drop it no earlier than 5 days before 5 Nov and no later than 2 days before 5 Nov. Doing this will reduce the amount of time they have to cheat as well as their reaction time.

So is CA. We are going to do what Daniel describes- taking our mailed ballot to in-person voting, ensuring the precinct worker validates neither of us has voted, requesting destruction of mailed ballot in front of us, then voting. Or, we may just deliver our ballots to the county recorder’s office.

FH if you do the first option, would your in-person ballot be considered a provisional ballot? If so, do provisional ballots even have a chance of being counted? Genuinely asking bc my family has 9 voters that are concerned about making our votes count!

Good old Oregon...mail in which will never be disputed! It has made the state a mess.
