Comforting story for my C&C tribe.

A couple of weeks ago, I was walking with my sister along a paved path. I was agonizing over my inability to wake my friend of 50 years as to the harms of the shots. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a piece of paper on the ground.

On it was written in someone’s handwriting:

β€œFear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ ‭

Some may say, what a coincidence! But I no longer believe in coincidences.

Let us all be reminded - every single day - of God’s promises.

PS. Thank you Jeff for keeping us all informed and entertained even while on vacation. We are all grateful. Blessings to you and your family.

I have had those. Several while walking in my favorite place when I’m thinking of other things. A message intrudes. One was to not be afraid. ❀️. Once I was wrestling with should I return to my local church. I asked Godβ€”where is my congregation? I distinctly heard β€œYou already have one”. I have returned with a prayer I can be used and my frustration with their caving be forgiven.

To add to this, and it’s just a minor personal story, but recently I was very stressed and worried that I was doing a good job on a very challenging new assignment. I had hesitated to accept it and feared I hadn’t done well the first day and was a little discouraged at the end of the day. We finished late and as I exited the building, for some reason, my clients were just outside the door, chatting together, and all exclaimed to me what a great job I’d done and thanked me profusely. I really needed that boost and reassurance right then and God knew and provided it. I really do not think it was a coincidence at all.

Another one, longer ago. I sent my older son to travel overseas by himself for the first time and was naturally a little stressed out by this. As I was leaving the gate, I saw a woman wearing a t-shirt with the message β€œGod’s got this” on it. It seemed to be such a clear message, I got tears of gratitude in my eyes. I have never seen a t-shirt with that message before that or since, though I’m sure they exist but they’re definitely not that common. So seeing that specific message just when I needed it was amazing.

When I was experiencing a deeper relationship with Christ I took to walking in a nearby natural area. At a beautiful spot overlooking a meadow where I often saw deer, where the love of God and his creation always moved me, I began to want to sit up there and meditate or pray as I walked that way. There was nothing to sit on and it was often wet or snowy. Could I bring a stool and hide it in a bag. Or drag a small fallen tree trunk? What could I do. Kept thinking on that until one day I walked up that hill and there in the best spot overlooking the meadow stood a rusty folding chair facing the beauty. It was also a time where everywhere I looked the scripture β€œBe still and know that I am God” was displayed in some way. Never have forgotten that moment. I would turn the chair upside down and put it behind a bush then pull it out. It was there for years then disappeared.

Cool! The first prayer I knew was answered by God was as a kid I ordered a real unique ball point pen ($.75) from my teacher. I loved that pen but lost it fairly quickly. After I looked around everywhere I prayed I could find it. That very day I got the laundry basket for mom and in the bottom of that basket in a pocket was that pen. I just knew God answered that prayer. 😁

I had a personal experience a couple months ago at work. A couple citizens were looking for another dept at City hall and ended up in my building. I went outside to point them in the right direction and one of them was in a wheelchair. I walked them over to where they needed to go to make it a bit easier trip and the mother looked me in the eye and said a blessing to me. Just an hour later I saw them again waiting for transportation outside and I stopped to make sure the bus could find them and the lady in the wheelchair asked if she could say a prayer for me and held my hand. I was so touched and thought she must have seen something in me at that moment and knew I needed a prayer. That was a special moment I'll never forget.

When my mom passed I was in shock, totally out of sorts. One day I literally was pacing back and forth between a grocery store and a pizza place. I simply could not decide grocery store or get the pizza. It was nuts. On the sidewalk was an organization doing awareness and fundraising for single mothers and drug addicts.

A young man probably 20 or so was watching me. He approached me and asked if I needed help. I explained my mom had just died and my wits were lost. He then asked if he could pray w/me? That kid prayed one the most beautiful sweet glorious prayers I have ever heard. It was from the heart, not memorized. In an instant I became myself again, got my wits back. We chatted a bit, he was the black sheep of the family, turned to drugs, was now clean, and working w/the organization to be of service to others. Paying it forward type thing to the person that had helped him.

The thing is, I had reached out to numerous ministers I know, friends, and a few other people for some relief, seeking help to get a grip on mom's passing. None of them stepped up, just shallow condolences. That only added to the pain.

Here, a stranger, one kid in the middle of a strip shopping center in front of a grocery store gave me the comfort and relief I needed. I will never forget him, his name was Ray, like a ray of sunshine. When I went to put some money in the jar on their table, he put his hand over mine, and said "not today, next time if you want". He asked if he could give me a hug. One of the best hugs ever! No one will ever convince me that Ray wasn't an Angel sent from God. Amazing what human kindness can do in a moment when you need it.

Running Logic, I love this! I have an airplane/t-shirt story as well. I was flying to my brother’s to look at assisted living facilities (he got horrible dementia after the πŸ’‰πŸ˜ž; his partner got brain cancer, most likely from the same batch) and I was very stressed. I was praying a lot and had asked several close friends and relatives to pray for me also. During the flight, I got something out of the overhead compartment, and right at the moment I sat down, a little grandma in the next row leaned forward, just long enough for me to see the back of her sweatshirt. It was a picture of Jesus with the scripture, β€œI will be with you always.” I absolutely knew it was a β€œlove note” from God, and I was able to relax and renew my trust in Him. Like you, I had never seen a shirt like that before, and I haven’t since! He knows every hair on our heads; I know He knows the exact time we need reassurance β€οΈπŸ™πŸ»

Immediately the music stopped. So weird. Turned around and picked my dad up and on the way I was telling him what happened and my back door of the car opened!!! I have from time to time put post it notes with encouraging messages and/or a Bible verse on people's cars that looked like they could use one.

One day I was in the car and was arguing with my husband over some sunglasses, but that quickly escalated to more broad categories. I was SO mad that I nearly wrenched the glove compartment off while opening it to see if there was a spare pair of sunglasses in there. No sunglasses. BUT stuck to a piece of paper was a stickum note I had made which said

"Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice - Ephesians 4:31"

I guess I made it in case I saw someone fighting? Who knows. Most were about God's love or that I was praying for them and hoped for better days. God left the odd ball for His odd ball. It is just what she needed! It shocked me right out of my next nasty comment. Praise the Lord.

So - I have a friend who was mormon and a guy who came to her house to clean her carpet witnessed to her about Jesus and being a Christian. The next day she was driving along and there was a billboard telling her that Christ makes her worthy (I believe that is what it said) and why not get off at the exit and talk to the people at the church near the exit. She did. She is one of the strongest Christians I know.

Thank God for this blessed C&C family! I returned from Wednesday morning prayer session to read today's issue. The prayer group meets every Wednesday morning to pray for the world. Today's focus began with the need for all of us to humble ourselves, that revival follows repentance and a great humbling and turning amongst proclaimed Christians. It was a tear-filled session. When one meditates on all the evil afoot, it can be at once overwhelming but also encouraging knowing whose side we are on!. What a wonderful relief and reward it was to return home and read Jeff's analysis followed by the absolutely hilarious Parks and Rec Jail video!! I needed that laugh! I promptly shared C&C to a few from the Prayer session (hopefully this will result in additional subscribers). With that being said, here is one of my own little 'non-Coincidence' stories: A "Be Courageous and Know..." T-shirt I happened to wear one day and a snap decision to walk a different path on my morning walk lead to a chance meeting of someone in need. She said she needed that exact message at that exact time. We ended up praying together. Ultimately over the next year, that chance meeting lead to my finally finding the church family I had prayed for for years. (while there are a lot of churches in the south, the problem is finding one that is true and does not add or subtract). Then.. at about the same time that this first chance meeting happened, my Jeep needed repair and while at the shop another chance meeting happened by both of us preferring to wait outside on a park bench away from the cool lobby and TV... This chance meeting ultimately brought a new dear friend into my life that needed to be reconnected to this same church that I would end up finding (months later) through the "Be-Courageous" chance meeting. She had left the church many decades prior and was looking for a true church home. And - it turns out she is also a childhood friend of one of my close friends that is no longer a believer, and is battling a likely jab induced stage 4b turbo cancer. I feel God is building his army. Selah! There Are No Coincidences!

I will tell you a few stories. My sister does home-group within her church on Saturday nights. One night at someone's house, there were about 25 people and they had a taco bar. Everyone finished eating and they all noticed that there was as much food in the taco bar as when they all started and nobody had refilled anything. God! Just like...I had made a few lbs of taco meat for our salads and we would pull out lettuce and have some for a few days. Well, this meat and pinto bean mixture lasted for DAYS. I kept pulling more and more out and I knew we were eating it, but it took a long while to eat it up! And...I have a certain medication that I take weekly. I am sure you can figure out what it is...and the bottle has not run out. I do not count the capsules, I just open it and take one and there are just as many in there as there were last week. I know it is God. His prophetic presence in the world of today!

Yes there are certainly health issues for a subgroup of people, but the idea that everyone who took the vax is a ticking time bomb is absurd. There is zero evidence of that, and people that continue to say it look as delusional as the vax worshippers. It makes me wonder what they are thinking and if they genuinely want to terrify people.

Something made a subgroup of vax recipients uniquely susceptible, it's either hot lots, a genetic vulnerability, or a combination of both. Look around, huge numbers of people who took the shots are *completely fine*. It's an undeniable truth. Yet the gloom and doomers never address this fact.

Do what you can but please stop listening to fear mongers. These days when I see anyone use the phrase "There is zero evidence" in reference to anything, I immediately start mentally reviewing all the evidence I've seen. Fear is an appropriate response to unknowns that appear dangerous. Knowledge and a path to deal with that danger is the antidote to fear.

Those who raise fact-based warnings about observed events are fact-mongering, not fear-mongering. And they provide the means by which people can help themselves and their circle if they suspect they might be in one of those subgroups whose illness was mediated by the clot shot.

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

Those who frighten people with hysterical cancer talk (people who unlike you and me unfortunately took the vax) are no better that the covid fear-mongers.

Yes, cancer rates have increased there is no doubt about that. Look at the stuff Ethical Skeptic has posted. He's talking about increases above the baseline. Even if they double (which for most cancers it's far less than that) that's still a small percentage of people.

What is hard to understand about this? It's not hard but people would rather feel smug in their "wise" decision not to take the vax than actually look hard at the numbers.

No one is denying cancer has increased. What I (and other rational people who have actually studied this rather than emotionally reacting) is that it's still statistically very rare. For the average vax recipient it's very, very unlikely despite the increase in cancer.

Show me the evidence that cancer is now some nationwide plague (as opposed to a significant increase but still unlikely). It does not exist.

I hate to say this but I think some people like to imagine the problem is much worse than it is just to make themselves feel superior about not taking the shot. However in doing so you are needlessly frightening others who made a regrettable mistake.

Edit: Here's one example of many from Ethical Skeptic (not to name drop but Jeff Childrers has recommended ES many times as a straight shooter.)

https://twitter.com/EthicalSkeptic/status/1686804599464751112

This is for malignant neoplasms. They went from a baseline occurrence of about 11,600 deaths per week (pre-covid) to now about 12,200 deaths per week. Terrible if you or a loved one are among the increased deaths, but in hard numbers that's less than a 10% increase. Lots of data exactly like that.

Expand full comment
Karen Murphy's avatar

I don’t think it’s fear-mongering. It’s making people question the efficacy and safety of the shots. If anything, more people will not be so quick to put an emergency drug in their body.. & that is a good thing. I agree to a point, but it is also clear that we have no idea what the longer term effects of these shots might be. But worrying about it isn’t going to solve anything. Do what you can to mitigate potential effects and then, as I always tell my kids, stop worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet and might never happen. We just don’t know. I agree with your general statement that we can't let fear rule our lives. In this case, if someone has taken the mRNA drug, they probably need to take some of the mitigating supplements and ivermectin, and move forward. Sitting around worrying about it isn't going to help.

Where I disagree is that there is no proof that it's a ticking time bomb. The same people who developed those mitigation protocols are themselves saying it's a ticking time bomb. They also accurately predicted most of the events so far. So, despite their potential conflicting incentives, I am inclined to give their opinion more weight.

On top of that we have seen unprecedented levels of people having heart attacks, heart problems, turbo cancers, neurological issues. Even in young people. This is in the data. All cause mortality was higher after the mRNA shots than before. And people like Ed Dowd who look at available data see unprecedented (I use the word b/c it's accurate in this case) levels of disability claims. His point is that disability is often a precursor to worse things, including death. The data is showing either the greatest case of worker's comp fraud in history or the populace's health is rapidly deteriorating.

FWIW, I also agree that it's not like it's going to be a 100% correlation b/w taking the shots and having an adverse event, much less keeling over. But, it's already a very high correlation vs. norms for pharmaceuticals. And it seems to be gaining steam.

The problem is we don't know what the ultimate % of those who took the shot and develop issues will be. It almost certainly won't be 100% or even 80%. Will it be 50% or 10%? Who knows. This uncertainty, combined with the unwillingness of our healthcare workers to tell the truth - or even admit that anything is wrong at all - only stoke these fears.

If we are going to hold someone to account for the irrational portion of the fear, it should be those doctors and nurses who continue to lie, even if only by omission. Every single healthcare worker at this point should be personally apologizing to their patients; and their patients should be demanding that of their doctors/nurses. Without that trust re-established, the fear is only going to grow.

Again, I agree with your overall point. Panic is never a good thing. I just think the fear is understandable, if perhaps a bit irrational, at this stage.

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

Agree with most of what you said, and you are exactly right regarding the unprecedented number of heart attacks and other afflictions. You are exactly right regarding the lies and deception taking place. I'm not denying that. But what people miss is that the unprecedented number is still a tiny fraction of the population.

Making up an analogy here, but suppose one in a million people die from something on average per year. Then the next year 10 per million die of the same thing. It's an unpresented 10-fold increase which sounds pretty scary. Until one realizes it's only 0.001% of the population.

A huge increase in a tiny number is still a tiny number. Yes, the vax was a disaster and the people responsible should be tried and hanged IMO. Both things can be simultaneously true. But the fear-mongers exploit people's numerical illiteracy for whatever reason.

Expand full comment
RU's avatar

That's true. The same happened with "covid" itself. The only caveat is - we don't know what the final % is going to be. It's already higher than "covid" was (and likely accounted for a lot of what was attributed to "covid"), so it's not so small as to be irrelevant. As of a 6 mths ago or so, over 30% of the population reported knowing someone who had an adverse event. And from Dowd's analysis, the actual # appears to be growing.

So, I guess the question is: what is the %? And at what % is it okay to be afraid?

People get sick. Look at the data Ethical Skeptic has churned through and posted. Yes these rates have increased and it's terrible, but as a fraction of the population its' tiny. And the increase above the baseline is significant but it's not like it's increased by 100x or even 10x. It's usually less than 2x.

I'm not downplaying the vax damage is real and that those responsible should be dealt with. I am asking people to actually look at the hard data rather than emotionally reacting to anecdotes.

Serious question, how is this hysteria any different from the covid hysteria? It does have a real downside though as it's scaring the vaxxed and causing them to worry over something they can do nothing about.

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

I agree that it isn't understood but fear is *exactly* the issue. And I didn't mean to call anyone out personally with my comment but to point out what is happening to people and how incredibly destructive it is. My comment was addressed to Laura's comment and was a general observation regarding the fear mongering and how people really have to ignore it.

A third of the population has apparently been driven insane by their fear of Donald Trump. Another huge chunk of the population has been driven nuts by their fear of covid. These people allowed fear to take to root in their lives until it dominated every aspect of their thinking and destroyed their ability to live a happy and content life. Fear is the issue, it destroys people.

Two facts; 1) there is clearly a problem with the shots with a subset of the population, and 2) the overwhelming majority of people who took the shots are fine. That's the data we have. People running around saying it's just a matter of time until the vaxxed keel over are delusional and irresponsible.

People are killed in car accidents every day. If people were running around saying it was just a matter of time until people who drive cars are killed in accidents they would immediately be dismissed as froot loops. How is this different?

We are turning into a dysfunctional neurotic society because people have zero ability to logically assess risk and let fear dominate their lives. And plenty of "influencers" (I really hate that term) are happy to exploit people's fears for clicks, fame, and/or power. Yes there are unknown risks, as there is with everything in life. Mental health requires us to logically assess those risks and act accordingly. Not only do many people refuse to do this, but there is an army of people egging people on in their neurosis.

It angers me as the evidence does not support the idea that the vaxxed in general are ticking time bombs. For the record I'm unvaxxed (as is my immediate family) so it's not just a rationalization on my part. I see what people are doing to themselves though with worry. How are the people egging this on any different from those who created the covid hysteria? Most of us were wise enough to see through that but many are now doing the same thing with vax worry.

Namely though, trust God, He is in control.

Good advice. What's done is done. The clock only moves forward unless you're special enough for God to suspend for awhile to win a battle. It's funny gustavi as I'm an engineer and a Christian. The first taught me to assess risks logically and systematically rather than emotionally. The second taught me to trust God. What an amazingly powerful combination. It's beautifully summed up in the Serenity Prayer:

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

There's a good reason Alcoholics Anonymous adopted this prayer as their own. They recognized early that people's inability to perform this simple task (i.e. accept reality and fix things within their control) was what led them to drink. It's no different today though it manifests itself through alcoholism, drug addiction (including psych meds), self-destructive behavior including chronic worry, and mental health breakdowns. It's everywhere.

And virtually every aspect of modern society promotes fear, worry, and helplessness. It's the exact opposite of the Serenity prayer.

I'm also and engineer and a Christian. In my specific role (refined products pipeline controls) I have to ask "What's the worst that can happen?" Well as you might imagine a lot can go horribly wrong while pumping gasoline at extremely high pressures, so my mind can go in that direction about other things as well. I pled with my 3 daughters not to take the vax, one did. I pled with my wifes 3 kids not to take it, 2 did. None of them took it because they were pressured into it. They either feared the virus or bought the nonsense that they were protecting others. I've been down the rabbit hole and read what the plan was and how it supposedly puts anyone who took it on a 10 year downward cycle into their grave and that anyone who got boosters just reduced that cycle time. But then I've seen evidence that in some lots it was saline only. And while there are still lingering excess deaths, they seem to be on a downward trend. But to your point, what can a person do who got it? Lay down and die? Or, get up, pull on their big boy pants, and get busy taking positive steps in the areas that they actually have control over, and trust in God for the rest.

There was a plan. It is called social security, & we paid in advance. And then they added medicare & we paid that in advance. And then they realized the so-called boomer generation would be an extra burden, so we paid for that in advance. And then the pile of $$ got so big, they stole it from the so-called lock-box & stuck it in the general fund to pay for the trillion $$ Iraq attack.

And some of us also earned pensions. They made loopholes that enabled execs such as, eg, Carly Fiorini to buy companies, declare their pensions "overfunded" & steal that $$ for HP.

And then after 2008 they encouraged displaced workers to retrain in healthcare for jobs that they claimed were growing but in fact were shrinking due to corporate mergers, technology & importing refugees from countries they destroyed, giving them "free" training plus housing allowances, & hiring them ahead of Americans.

May 2023

MedRxIV published a Cleveland Clinic study pre-print titled β€œEffectiveness of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Bivalent Vaccine.”

It should have been titled, the β€œNON-Effectiveness of the Covid Vaccine,” or β€œRisks of the Covid Vaccine.”

The short version is the prestigious researchers found that the more jabs a person took, the more likely it was they’d catch symptomatic covid.

The researchers reviewed over 50,000 Cleveland Clinic employees. They found extremely low efficacy at stopping symptomatic infection β€” 29%, 4%, and 0%, depending on the variant β€” but their final conclusion really put the stuffing in the punchline:

Risk of COVID-19 also increased with time since most recent prior COVID-19 episode and with the number of vaccine doses previously received.

Here’s how it looks on their graph:

Gosh.

The researchers found very little difference between the bivalent vaccines and the original ones, and also found that the lowest efficacy, near zero (β€œA protective effect could not be demonstrated”), occurred after the XBB variants appeared, which itself came right after the rollout of the brand-new β€œbivalent” vaccines themselves, which were supposed to be pharmaceutical Swiss Army knives providing broader protection than the useless original mRNA formulation.

Put differently, as so many predicted, the virus promptly evolved right around the new bivalent vaccine.

Here’s a link to the study

This study found that the current bivalent vaccines were about 29% effective overall in protecting against infection with SARS-CoV-2 when the Omicron BA.4/5 lineages were the predominant circulating strains, and effectiveness was lower when the circulating strains were no longer represented in the vaccine. A protective effect could not be demonstrated when the XBB lineages were dominant. The magnitude of protection afforded by bivalent vaccination while the BA.4/5 lineages were dominant was similar to that estimated in another study using data from the Increasing Community Access to Testing (ICATT) national SARS-CoV-2 testing program [16].

The association of increased risk of COVID-19 with higher numbers of prior vaccine doses was unexpected. A simplistic explanation might be that those who received more doses were more likely to be individuals at higher risk of COVID-19. A small proportion of individuals may have fit this description. However, the majority of subjects in this study were generally young individuals and all were eligible to have received at least 3 doses of vaccine by the study start date, and which they had every opportunity to do. Therefore, those who received fewer than 3 doses (46% of individuals in the study) were not those ineligible to receive the vaccine, but those who chose not to follow the CDC’s recommendations on remaining updated with COVID-19 vaccination, and one could reasonably expect these individuals to have been more likely to have exhibited higher risk-taking behavior. Despite this, their risk of acquiring COVID-19 was lower than those who received a larger number of prior vaccine doses. This is not the only study to find a possible association with more prior vaccine doses and higher risk of COVID-19. During an Omicron wave in Iceland, individuals who had previously received 2 or more doses were found to have a higher odds of reinfection than those who had received fewer than 2 doses of vaccine, in an unadjusted analysis [21]. A large study found, in an adjusted analysis, that those who had an Omicron variant infection after previously receiving three doses of vaccine had a higher risk of reinfection than those who had an Omicron variant infection after previously receiving two doses of vaccine [22]. Another study found, in multivariable analysis, that receipt of two or three doses of a mRNA vaccine following prior COVID-19 was associated with a higher risk of reinfection than receipt of a single dose [7]. Immune imprinting from prior exposure to different antigens in a prior vaccine [22,23], and class switch towards non-inflammatory spike-specific IgG4 antibodies after repeated SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination [24], have been suggested as possible mechanisms by why prior vaccine may provide less protection than expected. We still have a lot to learn about protection from COVID-19 vaccination, and in addition to a vaccine’s effectiveness, it is important to examine whether multiple vaccine doses given over time may not be having the beneficial effect that is generally assumed.

***please look at figure two. The lowest incidence of Covid was seen in those with 0 (ZERO) doses of the Covid vaccine! This is in a population of median aged healthcare workers, so it excludes elderly and children.

3 Or More COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Associated With A 6-Fold Increased Risk Of Infection Said Cleveland Clinic

A new study from Cleveland Clinic of 51k healthcare workers found the more vaccine doses, the more incidence of covid infection. Those who received three or more doses had a 6-times increased risk of infection VS being unvaccinated.

Another important point from the study, bivalent vaccine effectiveness against infection was only 30% after only a few months.

Next, after 2 doses there was a 2.6-fold increased risk of covid-19 infection, and 3.38-fold increased risk after 3 or more doses.

This must be it:

****

Vaccines turn immune response into one like the response to allergens. The immune system is trained not to react, and just lets virus replicate and do its damage. Each infection following vaccination teaches susurran increasingly not to fight back, no fever, but organ damage occurs, resulting in those sudden deaths. The marker is the growing dominance of an IgG4 antibody response, which is the same response desired when people are given allergy shots. Each further exposure effects the dominance of an IgG4 antibody response.

Mechanism of action for cancer

Are all vaccines working in this way?

IMMUNE TOLERANCE

Medical Definition of Immune tolerance

"Immune tolerance: A state of unresponsiveness to a specific antigen or group of antigens to which a person is normally responsive. Immune tolerance is achieved under conditions that suppress the immune reaction and is not just the absence of a immune response.

Immune tolerance can result from

Exposure to agents that impair the immune system (guess which one?)

Immune tolerance can be defined as a state in which a T cell can no longer respond to antigen. The T cell "tolerates" the antigen."

https://www.medicinenet.com/immune_tolerance/definition.htm

Extended SARS-CoV-2 RBD booster vaccination induces humoral and cellular immune tolerance in mice

"Indeed, we observed both humoral and cellular immune tolerance with the doses of extended booster administrations, which made it safe to speculate that over-vaccination might severely impact the immune protective efficacy established by conventional SARS-CoV-2 immunization, and probably enhance disease severity for new COVID-19 patients or re-infectants.

Our findings revealed that repeated dosing after the establishment of vaccine response might not further improve the antigen-specific reactivity; instead, it could cause systematic tolerance and inability to generate effective humoral and cellular immune responses to current SARS-CoV-2 variants."

IMMUNE TOLERANCE

The trainwreck of all trainwrecks: Billions of people stuck with a broken immune response

"The massive surge in RSV that Western nations are seeing, is a consequence of vaccinated adults now beginning to tolerate RSV, thus leading to a jump in infections in children, as they’re exposed to it more often.

With children now getting these infections from vaccinated adults rather than from other children, the infectious dose they receive will tend to be higher. This could be sufficient to explain the πŸ‘‰higher virulence observed in children."

Same study below

***

A brand-new study published yesterday in the NEW ENGLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE titled, β€œProtection and Waning of Natural and Hybrid Immunity to SARS-CoV-2.”

They analyzed more than 5.7 million people in Israeli databases. The conclusion is a little dense, let’s read it and then we’ll parse it:

The adjusted rate of confirmed infections among recovered, unvaccinated persons 4 to less than 6 months after infection was 10.5 per 100,000 person-days at risk; this rate increased to 30.2 among persons in this cohort 12 months or more after infection. In the two-dose cohort, the rate was 21.1 among persons vaccinated within the previous 2 months, and this rate increased to 88.9 among those vaccinated 6 to less than 8 months previously[.]

In other words, unvaccinated people’s actual re-infections within six months of their first infection was 10.5 per 100,000, and 30.2 after a year. For double-jabbed, it was wildly higher: 21.1 per 100,000 were infected within two months of vaccination, with a whopping 88.9 reinfections per 100,000 when you went out to eight months.

They also checked severe disease, and the news wasn’t good there either. The researchers found rates of severe disease in persons 60 years of age or older, were 0.6 per 100,000 β€œperson-days at risk” in the previously-infected unvaccinated group, but 4.6 per 100,000 in the two-dose group. (They found that a booster lowered the rate again, but they couldn’t measure whether it held up, because their three-dose data was less than two months old.)

This study is especially significant for the large size of the data set (5.7 million) and for the quality of the journal (NEJM).

Israel National News, headlined β€œCOVID Vaccines May Impair Long-Term Immunity to the Virus.” That doesn’t sound too good. The sub-headline warned, β€œResearch suggests that vaccination against COVID via mRNA vaccines may reduce body’s ability to produce key type of antibody.”

Uh oh.

The article reports on an April MedRXIv preprint headlined, β€œAnti-nucleocapsid antibodies following SARS-CoV-2 infection in the blinded phase of the mRNA-1273 Covid-19 vaccine efficacy clinical trial.”

Unsurprisingly, the researchers first found that unvaccinated people developed antibodies for the β€œbody” of the covid virus, called the nucleocapsid, but vaccinated people didn’t. This is unsurprising because the jabs hijack your cells to make the virus’ spike part, but not the nucleocapsid part. So the vaccines can’t prompt the body to make antibodies to the nucleocapsid.

But what WAS surprising was that the researchers also discovered that upon subsequent breakthrough infection, vaccinated people STILL didn’t make the nucleocapsid antibodies, or at least, not as many as unjabbed folks. The article explained that in the unvaccinated subjects who got the virus, nearly all (93%) had measurable levels of nucleocapsid antibodies, but fewer than half (40%) of vaccinated subjects had those antibodies after a subsequent infection. The researchers think the most likely reason for this is some kind of vaccine-induced suppression of the immune system:β€œ[G]iven the short time frame the more likely explanation is a vaccine-induced reduction in seroconversion,” researchers wrote, suggesting that trial participants given the vaccine had reduced levels of the anti-nucleocapsid antibodies as a direct result of the vaccine’s narrow focus on the spike protein.

Seroconversion means the body’s ability to make specific antibodies to a disease. So, β€œvaccine-induced reduction in seroconversion” is exactly the OPPOSITE of what you WANT to happen if you get infected after taking a vaccine.

Study:

COVID vaccines may impair long-term immunity to the virus

Research suggests that vaccination against COVID via mRNA vaccines may reduce body's ability to produce key type of antibody.

"Trial participants who were given the placebo, rather than the vaccine, and became infected during the trial were found to have significantly higher levels of the neutralizing anti-nucleocapsid antibodies than vaccinated participants who had comparable viral loads.

Approximately 60% of participants from the placebo cohort who experienced very mild infection, with low viral loads, were found to have anti-nucleocapsid antibodies, compared to roughly 10% of vaccinated subjects.

Among those with higher viral loads – qualifying as mild cases, rather than very mild – 71% of the unvaccinated developed anti-nucleocapsid antibodies, compared to just 15% of those in the vaccine group.

Of all unvaccinated subjects who had been diagnosed with the virus during the trial, nearly all (93%) had measurable levels of anti-nucleocapsid antibodies, compared to less than half (40%) of those in the vaccine cohort."

Anti-nucleocapsid antibodies following SARS-CoV-2 infection in the blinded phase of the mRNA-1273 Covid-19 vaccine efficacy clinical trial

"These data show that, among the participants with PCR-confirmed Covid-19 disease, anti-N Ab seropositivity at a median of 53 days post diagnosis occurred in 40% of the mRNA-1273 vaccine recipients vs. 93% of the placebo recipients. While an increase in seroreversion cannot be ruled out, given the short time frame the more likely explanation is a vaccine-induced reduction in seroconversion. Anti-N seropositivity correlated with illness visit SARS-CoV-2 viral copy number, with each log increase in viral copy number nearly doubling the odds of anti-N seropositivity at the PDV. As the viral copy number on the day of the illness visit in mRNA-1273 vaccinated Covid-19 cases has been shown to be 100-fold lower than that in placebo recipient Covid-19 cases,9 the lower anti-N seropositivity in the mRNA-1273 recipients could be partly explained by their reduced exposure to N-antigen."

Danish study. No net mortality gain in trials.

***

April 2022 Danish study. Many analyses to follow.

https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4072489

*** 2022 April Danish study

Peer reviewed by Kulldorf

Do these vaccines save lives? Hence, the Danish study answers the right question with the right data.

Here are the results:

Vaccine Type Deaths / Vaccinated Deaths / Controls Relative Risk 95% Confidence Interval

Adenovirus-vector 16 / 72138 30 / 50026 0.37 0.19 – 0.70

mRNA 31 / 37110 30 / 37083 1.03 0.63 – 1.71

There is clear evidence that the adenovirus-vector vaccines reduced mortality. For every 100 deaths in the unvaccinated, there are only 37 deaths among the vaccinated, with a 95% confidence interval of 19 to 70 deaths. This result comes from five different RCTs for three different vaccines, but it is primarily driven by the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

For the mRNA vaccines, on the other hand, there was no evidence of a mortality reduction. For every 100 deaths among the unvaccinated, there are 103 deaths among the vaccinated, with a 95% confidence interval of 63 to 171 deaths. That is, the mRNA vaccines may reduce mortality a little bit, or they may increase it; we do not know. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines contributed equally to this result, so there is no evidence that one is better or worse than the other.

The RCTs submitted to the FDA showed that the vaccines reduce symptomatic Covid infections. By recruiting mostly younger and middle-aged adults, who are unlikely to die from Covid no matter what, the studies were not designed to determine whether the vaccines also reduce mortality.

That was assumed as a corollary, although it may or may not be true. Neither were the RCTs designed to determine whether the vaccines reduce transmission, but that is a different story for another time.

The vaccines were developed for Covid, but to properly evaluate a vaccine, we must look at non-Covid deaths as well. Are there unintended adverse reactions leading to death? We do not want a vaccine that saves the lives of some people but kills an equal number of other people. There may also be unintended benefits, such as incidental protection against other infections. For a fair comparison, that should also be part of the equation.

For the mRNA vaccines, there was a reduction in Covid deaths but an increase in cardiovascular deaths, but neither was statistically significant. So, either result could be due to random chance. Alternatively, the vaccines may reduce the risk for Covid deaths while increasing the risk for cardiovascular deaths. We do not know, and Pfizer and Moderna did not design the RCTs to let us know.

The strength of the Danish study is that it is based on randomized controlled trials. The primary weakness is that the follow-up time is short. This is because the manufacturers ended the clinical trials prematurely, after the vaccines received emergency use authorization.

Another weakness is that the data does not allow us to determine how these results may differ by age. While anyone can get infected, there is more than a thousand-fold difference in the risk of dying from Covid between the old and the young.

Are the vaccines primarily reducing deaths in older people? That is a reasonable guess. What about younger people? We don’t know. This is not the fault of the Danish investigators. They have done a brilliant job extracting as much information as possible from the industry-sponsored RCTs.

Goes on to offer criticisms of trials

Danish study April 2022. Bad Cattitude

there were few deaths in the pfizer trial overall as the enrollees were generally young and healthy. 79% had zero comorbidities.

and they clearly played some games. they called a death in the vaxx arm β€œcovid pneumonia” to avoid having a β€œcovid death” and excluded it when calculating VE.

there was also a significant cardiovascular risk signal. this is why more people died overall in the active arm than in placebo. in the moderna trial, overall mortality was exactly equal in the 2 arms.

essentially, you get some reduction in β€œcovid deaths” but it is offset and a bit more by cardiovascular deaths. this alone should give quite a lot of pause. it’s fairly astonishing that it was so completely ignored around approval as is the fact that something on the order of 27k deaths from these vaccines have been reported to VAERS. in the past, vaccines (like swine flu or h1n1) were pulled form the market for killing single digit numbers of people.

need to be answered.

β€’ how were drug trials this rigged and slanted and incomplete allowed with a vaccine modality never before used in humans and known to be incredibly dangerous rubber stamped and rushed through?

β€’ how did regulators and politicians ignore the overall mortality data altogether?

β€’ how, when the promises of these vaccines stopping spread were near instantly disproven were the results of the trials overall, the approval for these drugs, and the mandates and health hectoring to get jabbed with them not reassessed and ceased?

(and yes, they absolutely, unequivocally DID promise that)

β€’ how did we ignore the safer and apparently more effective choices to zero in on the more dangerous and less beneficial? who made that choice and set those talking points?

β€’ how did the FDA, CDC, and NIH all become the functional marketing arms for mRNA vaccines to the exclusion of nearly all else to the point where the top vaccine people at FDA quit in disgust?

β€œwe did not find large differences in the median duration of viral shedding among participants who were unvaccinated, those who were vaccinated but not boosted, and those who were vaccinated and boosted.”

the median duration of infectiousness (potential to pass on the virus) - as measured by the ability to grow virus in culture from nasal samples - was seven days among the unvaccinated, and six days among both the vaccinated and boosted groups, according to one of the study authors.

There were also no differences between groups in the proportion with a positive viral culture at 10 days, study co-author Mark Siedner, MD, of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, told Reuters. β€œIn all three groups, less than 10% were still culture positive at that time,” he said by email.

β€œOur data do not suggest that vaccinated people recover more slowly from COVID-19,” Siedner added. β€œQuite the contrary: we found no significant difference by vaccination status (unvaccinated, vaccinated or boosted) in the time from a first positive test until PCR testing or viral cultures from nasal specimens became negative.”

https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2202092?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

Actual data shows unvaccinated reach PCR conversion and culture conversion faster

Researchers swabbed infected people and cultured the swabs, repeating the process for over two weeks until viral replication was not observed.

At five days post-infection, less than 25 percent of unvaccinated people were still contagious, whereas around 70 percent of boosted people were still carrying viable virus particles. For those partially vaccinated, around 50 percent were still contagious at this point.

Even more strikingly, at ten days post-infection, one-third of boosted people (31 percent) were found to still be carrying live, culturable virus. By contrast, just six percent of unvaccinated people were still contagious at day 10.

In other words, people who have received a booster shot are five times more likely still to be contagious at ten days post-infection than are unvaccinated people.

IgG4 Antibodies Induced by Repeated Vaccination May Generate Immune Tolerance to the SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37243095/

The more shots, the higher the risk. An international study, published in Science Immunology in 2022, discovered that repeated vaccination with mRNA COVID-19 vaccines can prompt the production of IgG4 antibodies.

IgG4 antibodies can have a blocking effect on the immune system, potentially leading to immune tolerance to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. The study suggests this could potentially raise the risk of cancer. It was found that IgG4 antibody levels increased after each vaccine dose, with significantly higher levels in individuals who received three doses.

IgG4 antibodies are known to be less effective at clearing infections than IgG1 and IgG2 antibodies and can interfere with the body's ability to mount an immune response to an antigen.

This could potentially mean that IgG4 antibodies may hinder the immune system from recognizing and attacking cancer cells, possibly escalating the risk of cancer progression or recurrence.

I was mad when I heard about the indictments last night.

I was motivated to write Trumps name on my 2024 ballot even if his name isn’t listed.

Now I’m relieved because finally it appears as though all the election fraud will actually be entered into the court record on display for the entire world to see and hear!

I’m not going to get my hopes up because I would bet they have a plan to try and keep the proof excluded somehow by some obscure law we’ve all never heard of before…..

BUT, the other piece of their plan probably includes charging Trump as often and as much as possible civilly and criminally before 2024. Because so many people are still sound asleep and hate Trump they don’t care about the truth, all they will see is Trump is being charged therefore he’s guilty. It’s another way to election interfere and brainwash the people. Once they’ve accomplished that, they’ll drop the charges or they’ll be thrown out anyway. It’s their election psyop.

Let’s hope people are awake enough now to see right through this crap.

The truth is hard to find these days. And this relentless legal attack can be an effective strategy. Sara Palin comes to mind as having been taken out this way. Many, many others we never hear about. There is the expense and any lawyers who consider defending the deplorables are threatened.

But Donald Trump has millions of supporters and is gifted at fundraising. For example, He could make some more of those digital collector’s cards that Jeff Childers and so many others made fun of. The ones that had sold out by the time Jeff wrote his next column and he had to acknowledge he had underestimated the Donald.

I give a dollar or two in response to text requests every day. This is matched by a nice percentage. If a good portion of his estimated 75 million supporters do something similar, he’ll be just fine.

Also, I know in his previous campaigns he spent a fraction of what was spent by his opponents. He gets things done without throwing money around excessively.

DeSantis is the one with money problems. He is supported by big donors, who made their maximum donations at the outset to blast him out of the starting gate. That money is going fast, and he hasn’t picked up support to get the small money donors interested.

I was thinking the same. There are β€œwell-meaning” people (I would say stupid or mercenary) who still recommend for the old or immunocompromised. Choose wisely; assuming you still have a choice and can make a choice.

Driving around town and watching boats pass by on in-land lakes, I see Trump flags and a lot of them. I don't see any Biden flags - 2.5 years post election still Trump flags and no Biden! There is not a snowballs chance in hell, Biden won the election. I saw a poll his approval rating is 39% - that's pure BS! Even the democrats admit there was probably cheating in the 2020 election. Trump draws big crowds still. Biden? Nope. No way he won. 2000 Mules shows it happening. Videos from Detroit show it happening. Bring on the discovery.

The Sunday before the election, my wife and I were driving north on Woodward past Big Beaver when a caravan of literally several hundred SUVs and cars bearing Trump and American flags passed us heading south. It was mind-blowing to watch.

We ended up having lunch at a place we liked in downtown Pontiac that was across the street from Biden/Harris Oakland County HQ. No one was there.

It's anecdotal, of course.

In early October 2020, Mr. "the Knife" and I were driving home (to the Pacific Northwest) from Phoenix after visiting relatives. It is over 600 driving miles between PHX and the Utah border. During the 4 days we were in PHX and the 600 miles we drove through AZ, we did not see a single Biden flag, yard sign, billboard, etc. We did see, however, Trump signs everywhere - yard signs, billboards, handmade signs, Trump stickers on cars, people wearing all manner of Trump apparel, etc. Trump signs along I-17, Trump signs everywhere on the backroads and little 2-lane highways. Nary a Biden sign to be found.

We were shocked when Arizona was called for Biden. There was no visual evidence of support for Biden anywhere we traveled in AZ. We stayed with family who live in Maricopa County, the heart of all the election irregularities, and there was no sign of Biden support anywhere!

I suppose we are not supposed to believe our lying eyes!

P.S. I am becoming more & more irritated that we should discount "anecdotal" evidence as somehow inconsequential. The very first "studies" in science and medicine were from people who observed what was happening around them and wrote down their observations.

The irony that we should discount all anecdotal evidence, but we must accept everyone's "lived experience" (unless you are white/straight/male, etc) would be exquisite, if only the cognitive dissonance was not so deafening!

Anecdotal evidence is what can make you start to ask questions, though it isn’t proof. But I do think it’s important.

True, but a major component of the scientific method is being able to replicate or observe repeatedly the same set of conditions/variables/outcomes to test/prove your hypothesis. Or at least that is what I was taught in school, during the previous century. Science (or is it Scientism?) seems to work very differently these days.

An example from 30 years ago: Our family doc has treated 4 generations of our family for going on 40 years. My mother had surgery on her foot and I was taking care of the surgical wound very diligently: cleaning it, applying Neosporin, and re-wrapping it daily. It proceeded to become progressively more inflamed and painful. When we went to our family doc for a follow-up, I explained what had transpired and asked what I needed to do to help the surgical wound heal properly. He told us that he saw that problem all the time. He said that the surgeons tell everyone to put Neosporin on the wound because "everyone knows!" that you put Neosporin on wounds to keep them from becoming infected. Unfortunately, (he didn't say or I don't remember why) Neosporin actually aggravates SURGICAL wounds (it is fine for other kinds of wounds), but that the surgeons didn't know that, because the patient invariably would take the issue to their family doc/PCP. Now, I doubt he conducted RCTs to prove the cause and effect of Neosporin on surgical wounds, but he had enough anecdotal evidence from his practice to prescribe triple antibiotic ointment for surgical wounds instead of Neosporin.

As an aside, I switched to the triple antibiotic ointment and within 2-3 days the surgical incision was almost completely healed.

As regards the election, many people across the battleground states have observed several different irregularities that have caused them to conclude that something hinky was going on in their particular jurisdiction. That begins to add up.

So, no, I don't think you can take a single instance of perceived cause and effect and say "This must be so, because I have seen this happen." Not all anecdotal evidence is of equal value, and yes correlation does not equal causation. However, when you start to see a pattern of repetition amongst certain variables, I don't think we can dismiss it out of hand as just "anecdotal evidence."

Too often in the last 3+ years, people's observations re: C19, jabs, elections, fraud, etc. have been dismissed out of hand by doctors, media, friends, family, etc. as "anecdotal evidence."

I will take someone's on the ground observations over any of the talking heads in the media or the government.

Wow. I didn't mean to write such a lengthy reply. For the past 3.5 years friends, family, etc. have responded to being given studies and papers showing the efficacy of early treatment/dangers of the jabs by saying it was anecdotal or "correlation not causation." And now we are watching the same family & friends have turbo cancer, stable auto-immune disease flare-ups, repeated bouts of illness, new cardiac episodes, chronic infections, and death.

We continue to pray for eyes to be opened and for ears to hear. And we are very thankful for the C&C crowd and other Substackers who continue to encourage us as we seek the truth amongst all of the sound and fury that surrounds us.

Blessings and peace,

Mrs. "the Knife"

Well said. I agree and though I didn’t give a very detailed response, what you said was more or less what I meant. Part of the problem though imo is that they continue to call it β€œanecdotal” to discredit what people are observing instead of doing actual research once those patterns start to emergeβ€”which in my opinion is the point where you can start studying the phenomena in more detail. But studying them might give data or answers they don’t want to know. So β€œanecdotal” shuts down the debate. Hope I am making sense here, trying to multitask right now so I am a little distracted πŸ€ͺ

I can only imagine how that would have went over in the Democratic People's Republic of Michigan.
