Zinc and quercetin are more like the bullet proof vest. You have to be wearing it before the covid bullet is fired at you. Of course there are possibly some bullets that will penetrate the vest. It is not a miracle vest.

Quercetin helps zinc (glycinate being the best) get into the cells.

I don't know about that. But I do know that Quercetin and hydroxychloroquine DO act upon the cells to get the zinc in. I know that ivermectin works well in conjunction with zinc, but zinc must have been already in the system before COVID infection to be most useful. Not so for Ivermectin. Ivermectin can be started at early infection and will be helpful all on its own or with zinc (and whatever else they have in a protocol for COVID. Seems at the very least they would be synergistic.

EDIT: So I dug around a bit more and found " Thus far polyphenolic molecules with strong zinc ionophoric activity in descending order include clioquinol (CQ), pyrithione (PT), epigallocatechin galate (EGCG), quercetin, curcumin, tannic acid and luteolin. The drug Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is also a zinc ionophore, while ivermectin (IVM) displays some characteristics of a zinc ionophore". It is an ionophore, but not as good as HCQ, quercetin and the rest named. But good to know!
