Yeah, they actually DO see themselves as heroes. Saving Democracy, and all. They really believe they are righteous and courageous. Sort of like “ you have to kill a country to save a country”. And they are trying to kill our country.

They have redefined the word "democracy" just like they have redefined so many other terms. To them now, democracy simply means "their way of thinking and their complete control." Exhibit A is the situation in California. Dems have a super majority and there are so few Republicans or others that there can be absolutely no opposition or even discussion of anything the Dems choose to do. At this point I don't see how that can ever change. Voters are so unbelievably low information that there is a complete disconnect between bad conditions they observe and the people they elect over and over. Very depressing at this point.
