Oh, man, you are really speaking your mind these days. Seems I remember some months ago, if you are the Annie I’m thinking of, that you lamented not quite knowing what to say to these folks.
I did go through a time that I wasn't sure what and how to say to covidians regarding the vaxx. So I chose to keep quiet thinking whatever I did say would come out wrong. It wouldn't help. But as they are voicing concerns on health issues, higher incidents of cancer etc, I found my opening. Mostly I talk about natural and homeopathic means to address health issues. And I have said I felt the pandemic was a scamdemic. So I offer help and kind concern but lay my belief out there. Surprisingly it has been well received.
This Substack community is an amazing source of comradery and support, isn’t it? Glad you are finding openings.
I’ve started asking masked cashiers at the stores what do they think will make them comfortable getting rid of their masks. Or something similar. And even commenting, depending on their responses, that, well, they don’t work anyway. They may not believe that based on my one remark, but maybe if they hear it (and the others in line hear it) often enough from enough different places, perhaps they will be able to believe.
