I believe what they mean by "urgent collective multi-stakeholder action is needed" is that they must silence the "random loudmouths on social media" - more censorship is likely what they seek, rather than "TELLING THE TRUTH or FAIRLY PRESENTING BOTH SIDES."

They are dishonest as hell, clearly bought and paid for - may their voices grow quieter and quieter, as those of "random loudmouths" (thank you, Jeff 😉) increase in volume!

TB's avatar

I'd be a little cautious on assuming that. Yes, *technically* they aren't enjoined from doing it now, but multiple courts have judged them "likely to lose" (part of the requirement for the injunction existing in the first place) so at this point, continuing to censor would be creating further evidence against themselves of deliberate unconstitutional action, for when the courts eventually rule against them.

So ok, maybe some of them don't really care about the courts and constitutionality and just want to "get away with it", but balancing that out is a tendency of public servants to be risk-averse, and this is a bunch of individuals not one collective hive-mind. If a court has shown signs of ruling against you, the reaction from most is likely to be "pull your head in", lest they risk getting personally exposed over it and lose their career and pension and so forth. And those who genuinely think they are "doing the right thing" by "protecting people from misinformation" are likely to be rethinking their position after the court rulings.

The last time I was captivated by a person, place, or thing and restlessly awaited the next episode was NEVER!

I get more excited over Jeff’s daily piece than a competition border collie twisting through pylons on an obstacle course and jumping into the arms of his handler.

When the article comes out at 7:30-800 a.m., I'm

in the clear. Any later, I have to turn my phone off and bury it in the farthest corner of the backyard so as not to hear the ding notification.

It's devotion time, and the chime would throw me into a spiritual battle akin to David and Goliath.

I can hear it now. I am standing in front of God. “ Well done, my good and faithful servant, but you needed to chill with Coffee and Covid; where's Jeff? I know he's here!”

I've saved this compliment for a while now, but today seems a good time to express it... in the context of which sources the "real" people of this nation (those who keep it going day to day) go to for trusted, vetted, accurate and comprehensive information, I look forward to reading C&C in the same way I used to look forward to tuning in to Rush each weekday morning. The brilliant, insightful and humorous news and comment factor is definitely the same! As is reading the comments here, akin to listening to Rush's callers from across the fruited plain. Unfortunately, the experience doesn't last quite as long as a 3-hour radio program, and the difference in format means I cannot consume C&C while working on my truck, fixing my house or cleaning my guns. But in any case, it's been a welcome, encouraging and much-anticipated part of daily life for several years now, and hopefully for many more. For some reason, the first season of True Detective was the only show I ever obsessed over. Planned my Sunday nights around it and then HBO at the time had a bulletin board-like page and people from all over would discuss the episode online. For hours. Other than the NFL and random South Park episodes, I haven't been a big TV watcher since Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Liked Deadwood and the Sopranos, but it was not the 'oh I can't wait until the next episode' kind of thing. Cancelled HBO and the NFL for wokeness and now I have no idea what is even on anymore other than have some friends who are into Yellowstone. I am a fan of detective novels, but it was so weird how much I loved True Detective. Second season was lame though and that was the end of that. We kept an old beige colored rotary dial phone in the tack room at the barn, attached to a bell-ringer on the outside wall, so we could hear it even to the far corners of the pastures.

I used to give riding lessons. One little girl, upon seeing the phone sitting on the table, asked, "What is that?"

Me: "What is what?"

Little girl: "That. One the table."

Me: "The phone?"

Little girl: "That's not a phone - it doesn't have any buttons!"

I had her lift the receiver so she could hear the dial tone (today she wouldn't even know what a dial tone is!!!) and showed her how to dial her phone number. The 9s and 0s were a bit tricky! 😂🤣😂🤣

Still have the phone and bell-ringers - just need a new barn in which to hook them up! Sigh.

We still have a landline in Idaho, but the government has identified up to 50 homes in our VERY RURAL area that are disadvantaged because of our poor internet speeds and therefore giving our local phone company a super deal on a loan to bring fiber optic cable into our homes, invading us and making our DSL obsolete. We can still have a "landline" but it will be controlled over a modem, which will be tied to the fiberoptic. If the power has gone out in the past, the phone always worked. Wouldn't happen now, because the modem is powered by electricity. And we will have NO CHOICE. Not to mention that it is an extra 20 bucks to have a landline. I am like "Eff them, I am NOT paying for their shit that is invading my house." They are on the splicing end of it and it hasn't happened full scale yet, but it is getting close. Soon, there will be no place to hide. And...might I add, the homes that are targeted and inhabitants within are very law abiding with eyes wide open.

I'm a legacy DSL customer because nothing else is available in the foothills where I live. For 34 years I had a landline, and then about 15 years ago when ATT offered DSL service up here, it ran through the same land line. Recently I decided to cut costs (they were charging $69 for the land land and $59 for the very lousy DSL which they still have but don't maintain very well. If I'm lucky I get 3 Mpbs, sometimes 5. They told me they just "couldn't" separate the two services. So I filed an FCC report (in which I said ATT was forcing me to buy a phone service I don't use) about it, and lo and behold, less than 2 weeks later they must have leaned on ATT to meet my request to have a DSL only line at a cheaper rate. ATT got on it and kept contacting me from their top offices, so for unknown reasons FCC must have really been on their case. I even got FCC replies telling me to notify them if things weren't resolved! It took about 2 weeks for ATT to sort it out, but I just got a new bill and instead of being $ 59 if was for $10, which is more or less what their slow service is worth.

The bad thing is that since I have a "legacy" DSL line (they will no longer install DSL for new customers up here) I've been told they can cancel it at anytime, and worse yet, there are no plans for installing fiber optic lines up here and nothing else is available either unless I install a hot spot type service all on my own...buying the modem and getting a signal from a cell tower.

All I can say is that I am gobsmacked at the near immediate action I got from the FCC. Why they were so efficient I'll never know.

Yep...lousy DSL, and 5 MBPS is faaast for where we are too. My bill is $70 for landline and internet. It will more than double for fiber optic internet and a 'landline'. That is total BS that I didn't ask for. I might just go with Starlink, just to see if they will lower my bill. We have a teeny phone company that makes their money off the government tit for installing phones where no phones have gone before, like a little town in the mountains of Idaho called Yellowpine. We live in FL part time and the noise is just awful ALL the time. Sirens, aircraft and the noise of streetlights and pollution it causes as well. There is just no getting away from the 'always on' feeling. Now you can't even go sit in your car to get away if it is a newer model because there is always something electrical buzzing it up inside us. My fridge drives me absolutely crazy with the constant hum. Now I sound totally crackerdog...haha.

I'm in the sticks too but my small ISP has a fiber running this way so they offered it to everyone in the area. I'm lucky to get 20mb where I live but I fell within range of the DSLAM. I can't go any higher. I also have to have the telephone service but it's for emergencies because the cell service is awful out here. I've actually used it more for faxing. I'm not sure if they offer Naked DSL aka dry loop DSL connection. It's 145 dollars. A friend of ours lives a litter further can only get dial up. 56k but she uses it and says it's painful to wait for pages to load. LOL They do offer Starlink where I'm at and it would be $120 month and $599 for hardware. The download speed is 25-50mb upload is 5mb

Apparently, the biggest feature is using your phone to adjust the settings which you can do by holding certain buttons on the hearing aids. LOL In other words, it's useless for me. The Global Holodomor: A terrifying plan to starve billions into extinction

... global famine ("Holodomor") is being engineered to carry out global genocide via famine.

This involves the deliberate dismantling of the energy infrastructure that powers agriculture, coupled with the pushing of a fantasy of how the entire world can convert to "net zero" energy.

This involves "decarbonization," which of course means exterminating humans (made of carbon) and food crops (also made of carbon). Decarbonization means genocide against humanity.

The biggest mistake the church can make is to frame current events as the "end times" as if this is all inevitable and outside our control and responsibility. In fact, we will escape the end because we will be raptured out of history. We even justify what's happening because "it's all ordained in the Bible".

There have been many wars and famines in the last 2,000 years. We've even had 2 world wars! And every time we're told that, "This time it's different. This is the end times." "But but but...this time it IS different!" All I can do is suggest that Christians stop listening to men and re-examine what you are being taught through an objective examination of Scripture. This is the exact same problem that Jesus faced with the Pharisees and the people that listened to them. Forget all that and let the Word speak for Itself.

Expand full comment
Copernicus's avatar

I’ve zero patience for Christians who wanna live with their head in the sand because “this is inevitable as part of the buildup to Jesus coming back.”

Because as much as it seems it really may be The Time this time, folks have been thinking this for the last 2000 years. We just don’t know.

We must be alert and watchful. And active.

God told the Jews in captivity to settle in, grow gardens and raise kids, and to seek the peace and prosperity of the cities where they found themselves. Even though they were to be there for only 70 years.

Mat 24:3-8 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

There is more, of course, and you can read on but it seems that we are experiencing “birth pangs” a.k.a “sorrows” of the end times, as it has been described. Scripture is still being fulfilled as we live today. When we see the Abomination of Desolation, I’ll sit up and take notice.

In Matt 24, as you describe, Jesus explains to His disciples what to watch for so they may flee before it is too late to get out of Jerusalem. In Luke 21:20-22, Jesus explains, "For these are the days of vengeance, THAT ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN (in the OT) MAY BE FULFILLED."

In Matt 24: 33-36, Jesus says, "...this generation (of those listening to Him) will by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled. Heaven and earth WILL pass away but My words will by no means pass away. But of THAT day and hour (when heaven and earth pass away) no one knows...but My Father ONLY." Clearly, Jesus was not describing the end of the world for even He did not know that time.

In addition, see........

Climate change. It's an enterprise. No, really, they actually call it 'The Weather Enterprise'. And they'll tell you, in unison, all of the weather resources in one big unified voice that of course the planet is boiling because of man! That's the purpose of the enterprise. 'Enterprise' is a synonym for the word 'Racket':

National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, 2018

Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) has been The Science (TM) of the pandemic: masking, jabbing, lockdowns, vax passports, nudging, manipulation, coercion. In this application of SBS the Enterprise:

”includes the network of government agencies, private-sector companies, and academic institutions that provide weather services to the nation."

The media is a big, big part of it, lots of local TV station weather departments (all owned by a handful of national and multinational corporations.) That were also instrumental in the pandemic fear porn pushing lockdowns, mask mandates, jab mandates, etc.

You'll even find infamous propaganda specialist Kate Starbird listed in it as a contributor. It further details how they use the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to advance climate fear porn propaganda with health regulatory powers under the auspices of public health. As well as a collection naming of all of the centers of power that are coordinating and collaborating with this massive psychological mind-farkery operation. Climate Data Refutes Crisis Narrative

...These cases will take years to resolve, and even in victory, will cost oil companies hundreds of millions (or more) in legal fees, costs that will be passed on to consumers. The plaintiffs were handed a huge advantage in 2007 in the Massachusetts v. Environmental Protection Agency case, when the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 5 to 4 ruling, gave the EPA authority to declare CO2 a dangerous pollutant. In 2009, the EPA did just that, paving the way for litigation...

I know FULL WELL the state of our country. I know because I interact in this world every day. I have five children - one a teenager still at home and the others just barely launched as adults - and I've seen first hand the damage done by terrible political decisions. President Trump gave the go-ahead for a shut down that wreaked havoc on kids - academically, socially and mentally. And yes, when you have a kid who says things like "I just don't want to be here anymore" because his life was turned upside down during Covid, I do expect the person who wants my vote to express some regret or to say "I will NEVER let that happen again. I made decisions at the time that I thought would benefit us, but I now know, those decisions cost us dearly. If I get the privilege of leading this country again, I will do everything in my power to dismantle the structures that dictated the terms for over two years of how people conducted their lives." This isn't that hard.

Yes, Trump is suffering. Yes, his first term was basically a slow-moving coup. I get it. I know all the lies, I know all the pressure brought to bear on him. I understand. But that doesn't mean he gets a free pass on everything. But, again, you and I disagree so I will leave it here and I will not engage further on this topic with you.

About Republicans, who still support vaccines; I have neighbors (a very conservative couple- very involved and active in Republican politics) who fell hook, line and sinker at the beginning of the scam. And these are people, who are relatively knowledgeable about health practices.

When the lockdowns first started, I spotted my neighbor and headed his way to talk. When I was probably 15 feet away, he threw up his hands and said, “social distancing. 6 feet”. He and his wife do not watch MSM. They do watch NewMax. And NewsMax taught them that.

People can be very conservative in many positions, but they have been led to believe that vaccines are beneficial and they don’t relate that to politics at all. It will take some time to educate the masses.

Me thinks she got saline. But initially nobody knew anything except the idiocy of the cdc and the like making us walk around the store in one direction! Lol. I got yelled at by a covidiot. Btw, I was in the hospital twice during that initial three months, when the idiocy was insane, like the ship in nyc, the stupid nursey videos (my bride is an rn, retired because of the cancer but a 45 year career,) and it was all lies. I was almost alone in there, one broken leg, a blown out disk, knee surgery. I tend to overdo fun, and pay for it with breaking things. The hospital was empty. The parking lot was empty. I think there may have been four nurses total on the floor for all shifts. They canceled all elective surgery, and basically shut down the hospital for nothing. Then I knew I made the right decision.

Well, I have always had an ear open in regards to biological weapons. For decades, we’ve been hearing about them. In the very beginning I believed I needed to be open to the possibility that the evil beings had concocted a deadly virus and released it.

I saw the worldwide hysteria and the panic of our fellow citizens. I listened to President Trump try to calm the storm with common sense. But the herd was spooked and galloping out of control, just like in the old Rawhide episodes. It was either get out of the way, or get run over by a bazillion sharp hooves.

I knew the players, and as I saw them coalesce around their scheme, then it became clear to me that this is how they intended to take down President Trump. They had to spook the entire world and take so many lives, but it was worth it to them.

I’ve never liked vaccines, studied some anti vaxx works back in the 70’s-my hippie days- and knew I wasn’t about to fall for the ‘jab’.

What made me skeptical from the beginning was the hashtags on any of your favorite tv channels in the low right corner saying “#stayhomestaysafe”… I immediately thought “they” are advising no fresh air, no exercise, no basic wellness. Then the mask statements by Tony Fauci (originally correct - they don’t do anything… then contortionist reasoning why they protect general public in a grocery store based on no evidence).

Then treating travel like a sin. Every mitigation plan proposed or enacted required law abiding citizens to give up freedom. I called BS on the mitigation policies from the beginning, and immediately decided I’m not sharing any details of my personal life with anyone, not telling people at work if I was leaving town to visit family. That practice made it easy when the shots came out. If someone asked me if I was getting the shot, I just said, “I keep that information personal and private.” That simple practice may have helped some people avoid peer pressure.

I let’s disappointing anyone fell for this. I spent several hours in 2020 reading on viral science and saw so many problems with the narrative that I could never believe it.

For example, SARS-COV spreads to animals, meaning it can never be eliminated. One of GOV early lies was that the shots would stop the spread and it clearly was not true based on decades of prior scientific knowledge. They also said we needed shots even after getting it natural, so they lied about the history we have of natural immunity, which is again based in years of science.

But if someone realizes the truth and changes direct, I’m all for supporting that!

5) ENERGY INDEPENDENCE for the first time in my lifetime of 70 years, and record low energy prices
6) Started no new wars
6A) Abraham Accords, bringing peace to the middle east instead of war
7) Elimination of regulations, required to eliminate 8 to add a new one
8) Cut Taxes across the board
9) Increased the individual tax credit eliminating the need to file more complicated returns
10) Started the space force, sorely needed today
11) Replaced NAFTA with an agreement better for American workers
12) Put tariffs on china, starting the process of moving American production out of the enemy’s land
13) Brought back massive amounts of money saved in foreign countries
14) Withdrew from the farce know as the Paris Climate Accords
15) Withdrew from the Iran deal
16) Increased the $$$ of the average family by over 5K
17) Started the process of fixing the VA
18) Increased the spending by other NATO countries
19) Killed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)
20) Created several million jobs, actual creation not bafflegab bullshit
21) Economic growth rates were going up, somewhere around 4% before the marxist killed the economy with the scam chinaVirus
22) Lowest rate of unemployment ever, across the board for blacks, hispanics, asians, veterans, etc.

From a personal perspective, I think different people got different variations, and it affected people in dissimilar ways. We went to Bora Bora in November 2019. Flew through LAX, in the basement leaky dungeon with 5 plane loads of Asians (all wearing masks).

I came home super sick. It lingered for 6 months.

Then, the junk in my head lingered another 3 years before a combination of ivermectin and Fenbendazole finally cleared it out last December.

Got sick again this fall, and now I’m having to re clear my head.

Terrible pain, pressure, you name it.

No, I don’t know what it is or was, but I do know that I’ve had lingering issues since the first round in late 2019.

Never vaxxed.

Thanks Ashley, and our best too you.

We were not vaxed either ... and so far no reactions so far. But also, we are not in close proximity to people except grocery store (kind of minimal) and sometimes restaurants. But I hear a lot of people with your kind of trouble. Keep well.

Well, yes ... outcomes are varied and shedding appears to be a real problem. Other than that I think they are using the term 'long covid' to add to the confusion. Long covid is, in my opinion, a word than could mean almost anything. Hence, its nonspecificity is in itself I kind of glossing over of things. Like, there something there and not at all to look at, all at the same time.

Here is a list from other people for IVM.

I got some in Mexico, and have borrowed some from horses. Both work equally as well. Duravet …apple … make sure it’s the IVM only and not the one with the other ingredient added. Message me if you go this direction and I can pass along dosing.

FenBen is easy … Amazon. The PanCur C works better than the human version, IMO, but could be because it’s a powder. Happy Healing Store has FebBen tabs. I also got a different brand from Amazon. I’ve tried a lot of things in 4 years to try to help myself.

I haven’t tried the below, but here are options.

REYNOLD MEDS The gentleman's name is Reynold Brooke. I order exclusively from him because he gives personal service (via email) and he loves America.

If what you need isn't listed, email him directly. His prices are highly competetive, his English is excellent, and his customer service is unbeatable. Shipments take about 21 days.

I’ve had autoimmune issues for years. Doctors gaslight us constantly. Long covid is a nice name for the damage done. I’m unjabbed but had shedding issues, bleeding in menopause. Probably been sick 3 times but don’t use PCR tests.

God bless and preserve you against one heck of a very cussed, malignant world.

We are being warred against and in so many ways. And come to think of it, the term Long Covid is just more gaslighting as it is a very slippery cowcatcher like term. It seems that the Elites just love to afflict us with autoimmune issues. The entire system works in this direction.

Seems so! In the 70’s as a kid, I was proud of how healthy our country was.( & later fell for a lot of false pharmaceutical promises, just got side effects & more issues)

Thankful for my integrative medicine doctor. they tend to honor the Hippocratic oath .

It's really hard. I know someone currently being treated for Triple Negative breast cancer. I suspect that ivermectin or fenbendazole may be a better treatment and even suggested as much but they are still doing chemo and radiation without much success. It makes me extremely sad to think she might be able to cure her cancer. I am not sure what I would do in her situation but if chemo wasn't working I would probably be looking at alternatives.

I'm a pariah in my family for a similar reason. Dad had a glioblastoma (brain tumor) successfully removed this year, but the oncologist claims that IVM and Fenben will "react negatively" with the chemo pills she prescribed. I am not even allowed to sit-in on the video chats with the medical team and ask questions. Dad cannot function like he did before the tumor, so all decisions are made for him. It's painful and heartbreaking to know that he could be healed, but the decision-makers in my family refuse to even research alternative treatments. They are quite literally killing my best friend right in front of me and I'm helpless to stop it, other than prayer. I know that nothing, even chemo, can kill Dad before God allows it so I am praying for Divine Intervention to reduce or even nullify the negative effects of chemo.

I'm sorry and sympathize with you. Many relationship have become strained or worse, estranged, these past 3 years. My aunt and uncle would not be around me because I wasn't vaccinated. Fortunately, they realize now that at the very least, the vaccines did nothing except make Big Pharma a lot of money. I do not discuss any side effects from it with anyone in my family that has been vaccinated unless they bring up the subject. My husband works in health care and is vaccinated. Two of my four sons are vaccinated because one is in the military and the other is in college. All of them thought I was a crazy conspiracy theorist but realize I was right now. All we can do is pray because everything really is in God's hands. I hope things work out the best for you, your father and your family.

Feeling your powerlessness in your situation. Durable POA is in another's hands and I am actively grieving through a sad mental decline in an elderly parent. The only comfort, measure of peace, is that home with God is closer and closer. When that happens, as I have for 40+ years with other family members gone home, I will connect mentally-spiritually with this final departure from my family of origin that precedes my own -- 'cos I'm going home, too, one day. I know this will sound crazy, but I do have connections with departed loved ones where I "hear" from them. It's not a direct line, it's spliced in ways I can't describe, but after more than 40 years of "coincidences" there are no such things as coincidences. Sending a heartfelt prayer for you for some measure of peace in the infinite love you share with your dad, and for your dad who, like all of us, is in the hands of the infinite love that is God.

Just a suggestion...Try referring to the FLCCC protocols which cover post-Covid therapy and post-jab recommendations. Perhaps he would feel some reassurance in seeing the two protocols (post-vax and post- Covid are very similar). 🤷‍♀️

Probably going to awaken the ire of those gender confused humans, as why mention women only, when some men or former men enjoy a good stiffy once in a while. And think of all those bisexual humans. I guess they can go fuck themselves, but you get the idea. This, right here, is what ugly Amy was referring to. This talk should be banned!

Considering the CA bullet train is/was suppose to cover 171 miles and has been in the building phase since 2008, Newsome really should take a look at Hamas' 300 miles of underground tunnels and take a few lessons on how to put down a few tracks a little more efficiently.
