I think history shows that the elite almost always control things but that they often use tricks to make the masses think they have power and freedom that they don't, that is really kind of on loan. There is no doubt in my mind that people can and still do make it in America. The way to do it is the same as what it's always been; hard work, delayed gratification, and sound decisions. The American Dream is still possible, there are many success stories.
What has changed is that virtually every aspect of society tells people to do the opposite of what they should do. And it's not that people just became foolish, but that our institutions (government, business, health care, non-profits, even churches to some extent) have actively turned on the population and view them as cogs to gain power/money rather than fellow citizens where we are all in this together. Sticking a foolish 20 year old with $200k in student loans they'll be paying for decades is making some people a lot of money. In a normal society these people would be thrown in jail (or worse), there's a reason usury is condemned throughout scripture. Instead they live in mansions.
What people need to realize is that those we used to trust are now our enemies. If they say to do something, we should probably do the opposite in almost every case. Most important though, study the Bible and attend a good church that faithfully teaches it. None of this stuff is new but has been known for thousands of years.

There is no doubt in my mind that people can and still do make it in America. The way to do it is the same as what it's always been; hard work, delayed gratification, and sound decisions. The American Dream is still possible, there are many success stories.
What has changed is that virtually every aspect of society tells people to do the opposite of what they should do. And it's not that people just became foolish, but that our institutions (government, business, health care, non-profits, even churches to some extent) have actively turned on the population and view them as cogs to gain power/money rather than fellow citizens where we are all in this together. Sticking a foolish 20 year old with $200k in student loans they'll be paying for decades is making some people a lot of money. In a normal society these people would be thrown in jail (or worse), there's a reason usury is condemned throughout scripture. Instead they live in mansions.
What people need to realize is that those we used to trust are now our enemies. If they say to do something, we should probably do the opposite in almost every case. Most important though, study the Bible and attend a good church that faithfully teaches it. None of this stuff is new but has been known for thousands of years.

I usually fly the "An Appeal to Heaven" flag. At this point, if we the people don't start opting out of madness and take our independence back for ourselves, our families, and our communities, God is the only option for saving us. But that does require Americans repenting and coming back to God so...
My belief is Americans won’t repent and return to God unless a great Chastisement hits.

No feedback that I know of. I live in a fairly conservative neighborhood where people fly flags on Memorial Day, Flag Day, President's Day and Independence Day, but I haven't seen any others flying upside down. An older couple walked by last week and the man did a double-take, then smiled as he walked on. I noticed he had a patriotic tshirt on, so he got it.
When I put my flag out for Flag Day I hung it upside down. It will remain that way.

I have never heard of the appeal to heaven flag, but it is great. My personal favorite is the Gonzales Flag from the battle of Gonzales. It says "COME AND TAKE IT"
