I went to the democrat caucus in Idaho in 1992. I found it very strange at the time. But true about expressing opinions. I saw an ACLU lawyer disabuse the 3 Clinton voters with her personal experience of him sticking her with his cab fare. It just seemed chaotic and unprofessional.
Colorado went to Open (like an open Marriage) Primary over a decade ago; our caucus/assembly is closed but the Dem. Sec of Hate certifies the primary ballots in 2 weeks...i doubt the MN Dem. will be on the Dem ballot(?) but with No Trump and any write-in of him being disqualified i suppose DeSantis or Vivek or Snoopy will be our choices.
I like the caucus solution, where people can express their opinions

In these situations, I suggest that chaos is preferable to professionally-organized manipulation and cheating.
I agree looking in retrospect. At time it left me a bit disillusioned.
