I’m struggling with keeping my Advent joyous and hopeful. With this news, and especially, the announcement out of the infiltrated and traitorous Vatican allowing same-sex blessings, it’s an ongoing struggle.

I struggle as well, but then I take time every morning, Christmas tree lights on, daylight a couple of hours away, and reflect what Christmas is really about. How totally miraculous was our Lord’s birth, foretold a thousand years and more previous in great detail. And it came to pas just as it was foretold. The symbolism is so powerful. Throughout history, especially after Christ ascended, the world has been beset by evil and times that try men’s souls. It is a joyous time because I am learning to turn my heart to Christ every day, and everyday His mercies are new and breathtaking.

R.L. - if you want to watch a beautiful movie depicting Christ's birth in Bethlehem--go to this website (part of David Jeramiah's Turning Point ministry) and watch "Why the Nativity" - it's a "docudrama" format and David's narration lends so much pathos to the wonderful actors' performances. I am really learning about why the commandment "Thou Shalt Not Covet" is a thing, this year.

Why?

Because so many people I was low-key envious of/grumbly about as I compared their lives/achievements to mine...

...are now dead.

What a waste of the energy God gave me.

That's all well and good -- and I love the KJV and memorized scripture from that initially -- but that specific interpretation from the Greek would not explain Adam and Eve's original sin of pride. (or maybe it was envy?). Their sin had nothing to do with money. Pride is evil - it is sin, and sin is evil. Money was not the root of that evil. What was Satan's sin rooted in, that got him kicked out of heaven?

Don’t let what the Pope said worry you. He did not change dogma and he did not say that the Priest could bless unions but couples. Any couple who are in a sinful union can ask for a blessing if they are repented of their sinful way... couples who live together, have sex Nd are not married would fall under this two. The media is twisting this. Please do your research before you get upset. There are many Bishops and Priest who have clarified this.

Expand full comment
NAB's avatar

At the risk of going too far down this rabbit hole, I think the problem is that, as is his usual approach, Pope Francis throws just enough mud in the water to confuse rather than clarify and that is the problem. While, technically, nothing has changed in Church teaching, we would be naive to think homosexual couples won't approach priests for blessings and we would be even more naive not to recognize the slippery slope now being greased.

Expand full comment
PamelaZelie's avatar

Exactly. It is the next step in the process of eventual blessing of ‘unions.’ You would have to be very naive to think it is not in the works.

PamelaZelie's avatar

Thank you, MayBella82 but I have to disagree. Fr Thomas Weinandy put it best.

“ Second, to bless couples in irregular marriages or same-sex couples without giving the impression that the Church is not validating their sexual activity is a charade. All those present at such blessings know, without a doubt, that such relationships are sexual in nature. No one is fooled. Actually, they are rejoicing that such sexual relations are being blessed. That’s the point of these blessings. It is not their sexual abstinence being blessed, but their sexual indulgence.”

I saw the "don't use the same verbiage as when blessing a union" Oh the thin vail! Does it respect Christ?

I notice there is no admonition to repent. That idea went out the papal window that antichrist poked his head out of.

Bishops and priests better not clarify too much or they may find themselves booted from the church and left penniless. IMO that would be the biggest blessing they ever received if they realize what is at hand. But...

I am old enough that when I was a kid, the "easy listening" station used to play 72 hours of carols AND print out a track list in the newspaper, which we kids would pour over and try to find out when our favorites would be on, so we could hear them. What a different world!

Christmas is about a millennial reign? I thought Christmas was about the Incarnation of the Son Of God who came to shed His blood as the final sacrifice for our sins that we might received mercy in His shed blood and become adopted as God's children.

Further, when Christ rose from the grave and ascended to the throne at the right hand of God to rule and reign, Christ poured out the Holy Spirit on the church, His body on earth, to fill them with power which no evil spirit can stand against. When Christ ascended, Satan was caste out of heaven and fell like lightening to earth. The Holy Spirit dwells in the body of Christ on earth, the church militant, whose commission is to go forth and redeem all of history. How can it be that Satan can stand against the church and the Holy Spirit of God?

I think there is varying degrees of understanding about vatican ties to globalism. I think there are many Christians within the Catholic church that are dismayed. Just like there are many Christians who attend Christian churches that are dismayed with the direction of their church. The business of the church and their guidance of their sheep. Bad shepherding if you will. She chooses to go to the Catholic church. I choose not to go to a church (in person. I go online). I struggle with that because we should as Christians be lovingly keeping our human leaders in check. Making sure that they preach according to what God says in the Bible. So, staying and holding fast and speaking truth. Our Job as the overall part of working for Christ talking about Christ and His saving grace and how anyone might find it in a doctrinal sound way. So Christians better darn well care about any corrupting influence. Especially when eternal life is at stake, We cannot throw the Christians in the Catholic church (they do exist) out because their Pope is a corrupted, satanic wretch of a human. (sorry Pam).

"Soft secession" might be the best real-world compromise (in terms of minimizing body count or other disorder). This is a term I see crop up at times in the dissident media. As I grok it, it basically means that individual States disregard Federal dictates. It's not all or nothing. A current example is TX's law that proposes to allow the State to deport illegals. This has already happened to a certain extent, such as the aforementioned marilization of legalwana. That, in effect was several States telling Washington f--k you, you say pot is illegal. We say not. And, so far as I know, the Feds blinked. Of course, the background issue is to what extent States have the right to be autonomous. How far will the trend continue? Who knows?

Also, a balkanized USA more vulnerable to attacks from other nations. Not like our military is the strongest, right now, but, say New Hampshire secedes (which is often talked about as well), what are they going to do if China decides to invade their 'country'? I just don't see them winning that one, and so then we are now in the same BS of sending 'foreign aid' because it is in our interests, or turning away and watching CCP gain a [greater--they are already here] foothold here.

Vonu's avatar

The first step would be to rout all government officials that have committed treason as it is defined in the Constitution, which would include the majority of those who fought in our foreign wars.

Treason is defined in the Constitution at Article 3, Section 3, as consisting "only in levying War against (the United States), or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

All members of the American military take an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; (and to) bear true faith and allegiance to the same."

When the military is committed to foreign actions without a declaration of war by Congress, as required by Article 1, Section 8, Paragraph 11 of the Constitution, that is a violation of the Constitution, arguably the action of domestic enemies.

When a member of the military participates in an unconstitutional foreign military deployment, s/he violates both the Constitution and his/her oath to "support and defend" it, giving "aid and comfort" to it's "domestic enemies," committing treason by the definition given by the Constitution.

Expand full comment
daverkb's avatar

Oddly, today there is levying war not by conventional means, but by other means. Call it Fourth Generation, Fifth Generation or whatever you like. In order to invoke treason as a prosecutable offense, Congress would have to identify the various organizations complicit (United Nations and its agencies, WEF, etc.) and issue a declaration of war as beomg existing between said agencies and the United States. This would be a can of worms problematic.

Nonetheless, treason against United States sovereignty has been committed. The governments of our country have been overthrown and taken captive. We are a largely disenfranchised people, and certainly so by usurpation of our constitutions various. The usurpations in manifold form are in my book ... treason having been committed.

My crystal ball gets real hazy beyond next year, much less next decade. Already, opposition to the NWO is arising in the East in the form of the BRICS. Internally in the US, opposition is arising among the "natives" who have had enough of their NWO lies. So...I think the Western cabal is getting desperate, especially the Bolsheviks in DC. Thanks to the Founding Fathers who created a multi-jurisdictional nation rather than a monolithic, top down government like most nations, America is very difficult to conquer even though they captured the Fed Gov't in the 2020 election coup. They were only able to capture some of the State governments and the county level, where ultimate authority resides, is completely uncontrollable from there point of view in spite of Soros best efforts.

But I know this from history, once a Marxist regime captures a government, they do not ever relinquish power voluntarily. There is no telling what they will do to keep control. They face the threat of opposition from Americans at the local level and the threat of losing a national election to the MAGA movement. Trump is the tip of that spear and they obviously fear what will happen to them if he gets back in office. They told us before it happened that there would be a pan-corona virus pandemic and now they are telling us that 2024 will see a collapse of the power grid. Guess what happens to the elections in that event.

My son has remote acreage within a short drive from our homes which will serve as a bug-out location if things go sideways. He is putting a large propane tank and a generator on the property. Also, we are not the only ones getting C & C type commentary. The rest of the world is watching. I agree. Especially on the repenting of Wicked Ways. However, there is a roll back against Commie Woke in progress, and just too many indications as to be coincidence. Ukraine sanctions failure, a massive miscalculation, pushed the need to roll back into high gear. And Woke forces have a huge problem, massive international rejection of the insanity of what the once revered United States has become.

And so, I think the roll back will continue. I think we will get relief but not real reform. No power will be returned to the people. The security/terror state will not be dismantled. The economic fundamentals will have to change. The below video is apt to be challenging to a lot of people and the interviewer says as much. Nonetheless, this is in part a most cogent assessment of some key fundamentals. For instance, nobody but nobody in the financial world takes about 'spare capacity' as being key. This guy being interviewed did. This makes him top drawer.

However and again ... and absent repenting, no Godly change of any significance.

However, I opine this little speculation the are always a ruling class ... and ruling classes are aways factional because it is foundationally intrinsic to humankind that folks never but never wholly agree. And as a kicker, is also a matter of distance whether of not it is small or large disagreements. We, as you know, are the most polarized we have ever been in America excepting on the eve of the American Civil War.

The words 'oligarch' and/or 'oligarchy' in recent decades has taken on a more sinister meaning, but it does not always have to be so. Woke seems to be in retreat and Globalist with it. This may not be obvious, but the two maybe already finished ... or at least in decline. The rest of the world knows that the West is totally bats off the rails insane, and they really don't want anything to do with it. And the Western ruled 'populations' are pissed angry and have had a belly full. These two things mean that that crazy has to be walked backwards or else the real power above the stage of actors has a very high risk of losing control, something they most definitely don't want. (But walking it back won't be accomplished in weeks or months, but over many years.

"Specifically, the researchers have grown concerned about something called the “multi-hit hypothesis” of cancer. It’s a theory that cancer develops not by a single event but in a gradual process caused by multiple accumulating genetic changes — called ‘hits’ — in cells. It's kind of like stacking differently-shaped blocks until they make a wobbly tower about to topple over. Each "hit" is a new mutation or a different disruption, adding up and increasing entropy until the cell goes wonky and then … cancer."

If I'm understanding that properly, I think I've read about that theory years and years ago, in connection with reading about interferon.

The idea is that we develop cancer as we live and age, and our bodies' immune systems fight it and defeat it. Then it starts to develop again, somewhere, and our bodies fight it and defeat it. That we beat cancer over and over during our lives, until some of us don't.

That's an ignorant layman's attempt to explain something that I read years ago, maybe 30 or more years ago, about this cancer hypothesis.

Expand full comment
Irunthis1's avatar

You are correct sir and in fact it’s well known that our bodies routinely make bad cells or proteins that are recognized as such by our immune system and destroyed. It’s one of the reasons the shots are so diabolical bc it impairs the part of your immune system that sentinels this process (among other things as stated in the article).

Expand full comment
SB's avatar

My understanding is also that your immune system is constantly fighting off cancer. Getting cancer is essentially a failure of the immune system. That doesn't necessarily contradict what they described in the paper. The immune system could fail because there were finally too many combined hits to fight it off. The immune system could fight off the first few "hits" but become overloaded or worn out or confused over time. There are many factors attacking the immune system: diet, exercise, environment and age also play a factor.

Expand full comment
rolandttg's avatar

this is correct. In simple terms, (pre jab. all bets are off now) there are 4 elements to cancer formation, and you need at least 3 of them (excepting a Chernobyl type exposure)."

1) Failed Immune system

2) Poorly nutrified body (which typically leads to an acidic , not basic body)

3)Exposure to (excessive) low level ionizing radiation

4)Emotional stress or trauma

Expand full comment
Faith&FitnessMama's avatar

Also, my understanding is that vaccines create a distraction from the normal immune function (ie ridding the body off cancer cells) making the body more susceptible to other things while it is figuring out how to deal with the injected substance.

My sister who lives in Colorado was incensed by the decision to bar Trump from the ballot. She has gone to 3 Trump rallies in 2016 and 2020, and believes he is the best President to open our eyes to the Swamp. Last night, she was ready to leave the state, and move. I will try to calm her down this morning with your excellent revue.

Btw, Michigan tried to do the same keeping Trump off the ballot here. Fortunately, the courts here denied the request, which in itself is surprising as they have gone very Liberal in the last two elections.

The entire intent of this (beyond excluding Trump from the presidency of course) is to make people feel angry, powerless, and defeated. Don't let your sister fall into their trap.

Reacting emotionally to a situation almost always leads to bad decisions, and that's what they are counting on. Becoming incensed is a choice, it's handing other people power to push one's buttons. I certainly understand her anger, but it's counterproductive and harmful to her at the same time.

People really need to step back and trust God. At the same time, God gave us brains to think things through and fight back effectively. Channel that anger into substantive actions.

Every once in a while I'll toss in a comment about the side effects coming out, but she doesn't want to connect the dots. I value our friendship too much so I don't push the issue. And once again the Bible is proven true. The Bible tells us Satans fall from heaven was because he wanted to be God. Everything boils down to this fact. These criminally rich evil men who are no doubt being possessed or influenced by the enemy of our souls himself….want to be God. They are manipulating and creating new DNA, chemically and biologically altering cells and creating their own food, turning men into women and women into men, re-writing ethical and moral standards by making wrong into right and right into wrong, placing love of money above all else, making celebrities and athletes into idols to be worshipped in place of God, glorifying Al that is satanic….need I go on? The devil is creating a new world where he is god and replacing the One True God. It’s been his m.o. from the beginning. He wants to be God and he never EVER will be and the sooner we all see what he is doing the sooner we can be at peace with where things are headed. The Bible has told us. He will set himself up on the alter to be worshipped and God help those who refuse to bow down and instead stand strong, at whatever point in time this happens.

“Covid” was a practice run for us to stand against the enemy. Many failed miserably. They will try again. Will we stand then? Only a remnant will stand because their faith in Christ will be so deep and un-penetrable by anything evil throws at them. When nothing can move your heart against the Lord of Lords, you will stand when no one else around you does. Examples throughout the Bible show us that. We need to let our strength and resolve and trust in Jesus rise to the top and stand.
