Of course, the people of Colorado can put Donald Trump as a write in.

He can win without Colorado's 10 electoral votes. He wasn't going to get them in the general anyway. But then if Trump is re-elected, Colorado is in a very awkward position of having ruled the president of the US ineligible for office, assuming their ruling stands. How does Colorado deal with an ineligible and thus illegitimate head of state?

(Just thinking about the irony)

Think about a Trump presidency, in spite of Colorado's actions. There's many actions that could punish the insurrection of the Colorado Supreme Court. I'd love it if all that resulted was them holding their collective breath for four years, worrying about it...

A massive write-in vote turn out would speak volumes. Of course there's probably a whole Lotta cheating already, in Colorado. So.

No they can’t. Theres something in the ruling that says they won’t count any write in votes for him.

The Colo. GOP said they’d change to a caucus and he can get on the ballot that way. I don’t know if l all states allow that though.

How does a write in acquire the requisite electors to win in the electoral college?
