You do what you can and what is logical knowing that things may happen differently than you anticipated. Generac is great for several reasons. I would expect NG to still work unless the power grid goes down so long nothing works. I would hope that the gas companies have backup electrical generating capacity. My son has remote acreage within a short drive from our homes which will serve as a bug-out location if things go sideways. He is putting a large propane tank and a generator on the property. Same idea as you.

Marty goes off on tangents from time to time--but after what he has endured (being imprisoned for NINE YEARS in the NYC corrupt judicial system) for "contempt of court" charges that were trumped up because he would not divulge names and pertinent data to the NY state government and Feds who were seeking to get to the owner of the hedge fund Marty managed. He deserves respect and credence in my book!! He is an avid student of world history as well and I appreciate his "ancient history" refresher courses that he shares in his blogs at times.
