I would recommend saturating yourself with a learning about herbalism and natural means of easing your body back to health. Elderberry is amazing for cold and flus, I see it more and more in stores, but have my own bush so I know that’s what I’m getting.

Also, this guy is pretty awesome and knows his stuff, Dr. Patrick Jones. He talks about plants and herbs and what they can do for us. Most, if not all medications we have, initially came from a plant source and then just the desired “effect” was synthesized, but there is so much more plants give us beyond that one effect.
Despite modern pharma's efforts, remedies that have been successfully tested on humans for centuries are still often the best cures. How else would the Chinese have thrived for these past 1,000 years?
I planted elders 34 years ago (for wine-making), and another 6 this spring--but now have to keep them caged from deer (which were not a thing here 30 years ago). I then kept a medicinal section of my herb garden, lost it while involved in 'career', decided last year to re-instate it. Took my absinthium--5' high!--to attic Wednesday for drying. Daughter asked what was I going to do with it? "Chinese herbal medicine for people who don't get sick." I am waiting for the artem. annua to move into flowering stage before cutting it for drying.
You might enjoy the Substack "Weedom" which I discovered only two weeks ago. Also, querying 'medicinal use of (herb name)' will get you PubMed articles with references. But you probably already do that.
Artemisia Annua was offered early in the Covid scam as helpful--a pubmed paper shows that the effect of artemisinin is greater when the whole plant is used, and not simply the 'artemisinin' itself. Who would have thought?
I've always questioned herbal "extracts" of plants (and by that I mean one aspect of the plant is removed and concentrated). I get it from a marketing perspective - trying to convince people something is more powerful because they have concentrated the 'active' ingredient. But, I think the creator was no fool and that plants/herbs have many benefits as a whole, not just their extracted parts.
Thank you so much! I barely make USDA Zone 9 so I’m looking forward to growing my own elderberry. And I’ve got the Home Grown Herbalist bookmarked. Tough times are on their way (I mean crisis-tough) so getting prepared.

Thank you for that link to the home grown herbalist. I’m going to order from them. 👍

I can’t get that link to work; is it still current?
Where there’s a will there’s a way; finally found the site via search etc.
Agree, seek a Functional / Integrative DO/MD; HMD; ND; DC; APH.

wow, excellent prepper kit!!
Thanks for sharing.
Wormwood!!?
They take wormwood in Africa when they can't get HCQ. I started taking artemisia annua during the pandemic. Moringa is good too.
Me too! Great Minds!!
