I have never seen that in scripture. But faithful and unfaithful Jews were waiting for a Messiah to come as promised. So, I can see that as a possibility for some. Even as the scriptures are God's word, they are still a bit 2 dimensional. Meaning in between those sentences there was life and time going on. Things we don't get to see as words on paper.
