One of my friends was saying how they saw a recording of him at the after party where he made some speech and he was coherent. She said, “See, he’s not failing.” Why couldn’t he have been that way during the debate?” Someone responded that he was just nervous. I remained silent for fear of what would come out of my mouth.

Did they see the after party with Nurse Ratchet. aka: his deplorable wife? That was even sadder! She praised him like he was a toddler (" Good job, you answered all the questions!"), but what was SAD was how he was staring at her blankly like he was a toddler. Seriously unbelievable; even more so than the debate, if possible. It was seen (in disbelief) around the world.

And then he was more coherent! I think there were concerns about the cocktail’s side effects and how 90 minutes was just to long to avoid them.

He got something after the debate.

It must have been after the sad *nurse Ratchet praising her toddler patient* scene. Because he definitely was so out of it, it was sad.

Maybe the disastrous drug concoction wore off and he felt better after a while.

I know what you mean. When he was accepting Jill’s praise like a dazed two year old, who just had his first potty success for #2, he looked so pathetic.

But a few minutes later, he was addressing the group (I almost said crowd) in strident tones and angrily declaring that when he gets knocked down, he gets back up.

Some combination of drugs and hypnosis? Or they messed up the debate cocktail (hmmm…, and like you said, he was better without it?

Maybe they were trying to tone down the anger and hostility and without it he has no affect left to speak of. Maybe they meant him to do poorly and bring us to this point. The media certainly seemed (for all their supposed shock) to be ready for it.

There are so many possibilities for what went down with OByedumb…..

Jillie is a ludicrous example of what a First Lady SHOULDN'T be!!

I believe that’s the party they were talking about. I didn’t watch any of it. Well, bits and pieces of the debate. It’s truly despicable.

I am now convinced that Jill is actually CRUEL in how she is subjecting him to ridicule.

I really don't want to be mean spirited, because I was raised to respect the elderly, but in a way he deserves the ridicule because he has been so mean spirited to Trump, and because he is an angry bully.

When I see Biden raise his fists in the air with that evil furious expression, I (seriously) am reminded of Hitler's style.

Am I the only one who has ever seen that?

It is a pathetic spectacle at how these family members use and abuse each other ... especially Nurse Ratchet. Pathetic self-aggrandising narcissism and the complete insurrection against all Godly virtue and wisdom. And it is difficult to conceive of the hardness which permits all of this to go without any thought or consideration of the other.

Life is more than somebodies little game. But not for Nurse Ratchet!

Play back in slo-mo the video of herr Doktor Jill's declamation about Trump - "He LIES!!!" - at that post-debate party. Freeze frame her, and put the image next to POTUS Peters giving his screaming speech with the red-lit background and the armed troops to his side.

By golly, Mister and Missus Biden were made for each other.

I don’t feel sorry for him at all. He’s always been a horrible, mean, lying piece of excrement his entire life.

I've heard that too--and I said, "Yeah, my dad had some pretty lucid days too." He was in Alzheimer's assisted living for a couple of years and died there.

I watched my MIL’s decline. She had Parkinson’s and dementia. There was a point when most days she was completely out of it.

Yes, it was very hard to watch. She was a lovely woman. I believe it was a result of Western medicine. Before my husband and I met, his mom had breast cancer and was treated with chemo and radiation. From what I understand, before that, she didn’t have the best digestive system. The chemo did a number on it, so she struggled with it at least 10 years before she got gallstones. I tried to convince her to try natural ways to dissolve them and actually work on her system to heal it as much as possible, but she was hooked into doctors, etc. A surgeon told her that having a gallbladder surgery would solve all of her problems and she’d be able to eat like normal again. 🙄 With her history, there was no way that was going to happen. So, they took out her gallbladder, and, the following year, the first signs of Parkinson’s appeared. The gallbladder is responsible for producing bile in your body, which helps your system break down and absorb food. Without her gallbladder and combined with her digestive tract issues, I believe her brain and body were being starved of the necessary nutrients. While it can never be confirmed, I stand by that conclusion.

A lot of the time, people don’t want to do the hard work in order to regain their health, especially when they have someone telling them that there’s an easy way, even if it’s a lie. This is not a judgement on anyone. It’s just how people are. It’s why fad diets work, why people buy diet pills, etc.
