Judge Jones was also considered by George W. in 2005 when he nominated John Roberts. We know how both of those nominations turned out. Judge Jones was seen as too conservative to be confirmed, but at least we have her at the 5th Circuit. And she probably has washed her share of dishes!

If only W had nominated anyone but Roberts. But I thank God for judges like Edith Jones. If only there were more.
