I asked them why they kept getting flu shots, since it didn't seem to keep them from getting the flu: "because my doctor told me I needed to get it" was always the answer. I never pushed the conversation beyond that because I was raised to be very respectful of my elders and to continue to push them on it would have been considered to be most disrespectful. That observation is why I have never had a flu shot and a main reason I refused the covid jabs (the other being it was brand new technology, so no long term safety studies. Also, the survival rate was/still is around 99%, and observing all the drugs that have been pulled from the market due to adverse events has not inspired confidence in pHarma cos.)
