Jeff, it was your Letter to Pastors during COVID that brought me to you. I hope you’ll connect that letter to what TD Jakes did in pushing the DeathVax. Please write us a “compare and contrast” post.
BTW, your George Washington smallpox rebuttal was brilliant. You’re a national treasure.

Do you have a link to the letter? The silence by our faith leaders in the face of Covid tyranny really turned me off to our church. I’d like to forward it to our rector even if it’s dated. Thank you!
My priest didn't get vaxxed, would not push it at all on the parishioners, refused to mandate it on the staff and went to genuinely amazingly lengths to work around restrictions on our parish imposed from above. All priests and all pastors are not the same.
You're lucky. Some in our diocese said it was a moral imperative and further would not assist parishioners in obtaining religious exemptions. Covid is not the only area of compromise. How many homilies do you hear on immigration and "welcoming the stranger" yet none on protecting the unborn? How many times have you heard about "accompanying the LGBTQ community" after shaming you to "remove the plank from your own eye before removing the speck from your neighbor's eye?" Social justice, or "woke" ideology is infiltrating Christian churches on every level and in the Catholic church it is particularly evident in the views of "lay pastoral associates" who lead discussion groups and organize education and outreach sessions. And, yes, as Maxstirner says, the "popeness" did support COVID shots saying to receive one was an "act of love" while the papal COVID advisory board went further and said it was a "moral obligation" to get vaccinated.

I WAS VERY VOCAL about the Covid vaxx when it became a “thing”. Many friends and neighbors turned their backs on me because I felt it was too new to jump on-board. Some of my neighbors still flaunt that they just got their 5th vaxx, waiting for me to say something, but I no longer say anything. If I did say something, it would be “Are you nuts?!” One neighbor told me I was right because her doctor told her NOT to get another Covid vaccine. Each time she did, she wound up in the hospital and almost died of a heart attack twice! Another neighbor told me she was getting the flu shot and her Covid booster, and then said to me “Oh, you don’t believe in anything like that…” So glad I have a reputation! One neighbor is no longer here because she passed away from a sudden heart attack recently, and yes, she was one who actually had hatred for me because she knew where I stood. I take no pleasure in being right. But I am happy I saw through all the bs. Instincts are a wonderful thing! Pay attention to that inner voice, even if the world is against you. It saves lives.
I was very vocal too. I don’t regret it either. My kids were in college and didn’t want to take it but they were going into graduate school and the push was on all around them. I am grateful that so far they have not had any problems. I did give them the jab protocol stuff.
Btw I find it interesting that when I search Substack’s main search box for the exact title of this post, it does not appear in results. (But if I search the C&C page it does.) It feels like SS’ algorithm suppresses some dissident articles. I also notice I get unsubscribed from C&C from time to time for no reason (unrelated to posting any comments). Strange.
Same. I get automatically cancelled from my subscription to A Midwestern Doctor too. It’s annoying. I only realize it when suddenly I can’t read an entire article and then I go look and it states I’m a free subscriber only. I’ve never once canceled on my end. 😂 AMD has a powerful reach too so I often wonder if SS does it on purpose.
Yes isn’t that odd? It’s especially strange given you have a paid subscription. I have many free subscriptions so I don’t always notice I’ve been unsubscribed from an author until I see a post appear in Notes and realize I didn’t receive the post in my inbox. Either the technology is faulty or there is some type of suppression, either reason is disappointing. Btw I too find AMD to be a very enlightening Substack, one of the best. Well good luck and happy reading (hopefully)!

Friend went to urgent care for a knee injury a few days ago. She wore a mask…🙄 The nurse who saw my friend told her how useless the mask was, we never should have been locked down, stupid churches should not have closed, on and on. Finally a healthcare professional saying what we all know. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

You all need to read “Shepherds for Sale” by Meg Basham. It will Open your eyes.
Seconded. Excellent book (and applies to Catholics too).
In what way? My Priests didn’t push the jab at all.

Yes, brilliant judo rebuttal. Fighting fire with fire.
In all fairness to the vaxx, Jakes had heart attack written all over him before covid. But maybe he's what CDC means by “boosted.”

Excellent testimony.
Yes my introduction to ☕️ and covid was the letter to Pastors too

I too admire your smallpox/covid injection rebuttal. I may use that angle in the near future, if I may councilor.
Have a truly meaningful Thanksgiving, my best to you father.
Me too!
Same here!!!
