That is brilliant, and I am betting that YOU are the only person who ever thought of that argument. I think EVERY attorney should have that argument at the forefront of their lawsuits!!!!
I also think there was a component of Washington being their military leader and soldiers are expected to obey their leaders. A very different situation from ordinary employees and citizens being mandated.
