I read Soros’ comment; in my mind it wasn’t an endorsement.
I’ve also read all the bashing of DeSantis at CTH. But Sundance there seems to be a complete Trump acolyte.
Nobody is afraid of Trump. Whether by choice or being bamboozled
- he surrounded himself with deep state actors
- he caved twice on his demand for money for the border wall…
Interesting take. Not necessarily wrong either. I will say that even though I know our votes don’t matter at this point…I will continue to vote because it is my right as a citizen and I choose not to lay down, roll over and just hand them their selection without a fight.
As for fear of Trump…how else do you explain their complete hatred of him and their absolute disdain and smearing of him to make sure he never gets in office again? They have investigated him for the most stupidest things and put him through the ringer. If he weren’t a threat they wouldn’t care and they’d say bring it on. They do not want Trump at all costs. There has to be a reason for that as well.
I don’t quite understand why he didn’t clean house of all those rinos either. Except he had no way of knowing how corrupt there were until they shown their true colors. Idk.
Trump did a lot of good things and he did it with the evil (including rinos) fighting him every inch of the way. They backstabbed him, tried to frame him and held nothing back. He did not do it perfectly and no, I don’t like his ego. But if you were fighting the demons and criminality that he was I bet you’d not have done it all perfect. How do you fight an enemy that follows no moral or ethical set of rules or who doesn’t even have a conscience?
I also thinks he fights on some things when he doesn’t need to (like DeSantis). There are pros and cons for both people. I will not pick a side until I’m forced to. We’ll see how this plays out. I’m taking Jeff’s advice and just waiting to see what happens before I jump on anything.
Everyone in this thread makes good points, well, almost everyone. What we have to keep in mind is that the globalists want to sow discord in the enemy camp. We must present a united front. Both Ron and Don are part of that front.
Also, we must remember that regardless of who runs in 2024, we will not win. Stop and think! You know the elections are rigged. I think whatever happens in the next two years especially in regards to Trump and DeSantis, it's gonna surprise us.
And that is why we need to rise up and make ourselves heard and take our country back when it is lost to another traitor. It is our right. Those people we elected and those (s)elected are not doing their jobs for the American people, but are only doing for themselves. When the 2024 election rolls around, we all know this entire country is now fed up, more than ever before, and more awake that ever before, that if the demoncrats were to win the presidential election, it will prove it was rigged. There is no way all the masses will believe it. We need to be like them, but in a good way: loud, proud and obnoxious. Get in their faces. Bully our way up to the front. I think we are capable of growing a set and outdoing them in this game and doing it with morality. Jesus got angry, I think it's okay (expected) if we do too.
Absolutely agree! But I think DeSantis could do more good here in Florida so I hope he finishes his term. What a great governor! And he has had the guts to fight against the covid baloney. I love Trump but hate hearing him attack my governor.
I think it’s a ploy and a scenario that both of them have agreed upon. You can see the body language between them. The comments don’t seem to rattle DeSantis and he NEVER fights back. What he can look forward to is that same dogged-determination by Trump’s support of him when he finally decides to run.
I don’t know who you are but I will tell you that you’ve given us nothing but hopelessness when reading your comment. Trump bad; your vote worthless. Anyone who wants to influence others must give viable options. You haven’t named an alternative. That small bit aside, if you give credence to anything Soros says tells me a lot about you.
I’m sure we’re a lot alike. I’d hazard our main difference is that I’m neither optimist nor pessimist, I’m a realist.
I’m sure your pretty up to date on the news, and have been for some time. The results of “elections” since, at least, 2018 have been clear enough to me. I live in Orange County, CA, a forever conservative county, and watched as they kept counting and recounting votes until the county was no longer conservative. There’s not a snowball’s chance in he!! that Biden “won” 2020. The 2022 “red wave” “failed to materialize”.
Please.
As for options, my friend, I’ve posted the only option I see here there and everywhere for a long long time. I probably sent my 1st letter to the editor before I was a teenager. I’m 68 now.
I hate break it to you - NOBODY IS RIDING IN ON A WHITE HORSE TO SAVE US! Not DeSantis, not Trump - no one. If Liberty is to be preserved for our progeny, after a millennias long struggle from serfs in the mud to free and sovereign citizens, it is up to us. It will be difficult, bloody and the outcome is uncertain. BUT, as a realist, I can see that the outcome of our current fearful and restrained path is lives of hellish desperation for our children, grandchildren and generations to follow in a world devoid of Freedom and the opportunity they deserve.
As for giving Soros any credence, as Glenn Beck has advised for years of these tyrants - take them at their word.
Sorry. We are nothing alike. First of all, I would never live in California and if you still do you are neither a pessimist nor an optimist; you’re a masochist. I will say this. We need a leader and the only one in view that has a chance of making a change is Trump. We’ve “begun” with a Republican Congress. Our eyes are opening. “Have a nice day.”

- he surrounded himself with deep state actors
- he caved twice on his demand for money for the border wall
- he pushed and still pushes the vaxxines
- he’s got the ego of a teenage boy
I could go on, but there’s really no need.
Besides, if you still think your vote counts for anything, you’re high on hopium and should stay away from operating machinery.

"you’re high on hopium" total gold AT, just gold!

Don’t give him anymore encouragement.
