We used to sing that when I was a child! Now I have a praise song to sing throughout the day. There's something about these old hymns from when I was a child that when they come back to me, like in this instance, somehow they nourish me.
I've thought about that for years. My youngest hates KLOVE and has for years because it's all the same and it's empty.
When I was growing up (and it really wasn't all that long ago), we listened to all kinds of Christian music and it was varied, based on scripture and pointed to God's glory.

I think itβs because they were so scriptural, not the self-focused fluff and nonsense being recorded and sang today.
