Unfortunately, we have found that much of the ‘therapies’ are a lot of hype. There is NO cure for autism no matter who says there is. There is money to be made in false hope though. If there were a cure, trust me I would have found it since I have left no stone unturned these last 8 years of research.
Chiropractor cost is out of reach for us. I give her joint compressions and massage every night before bed to give her necessary sensory input and relax her system. Otherwise she wouldn’t sleep. We are careful with her diet, and give her a lot of emotional support. But it’s my husband and I who administer all her therapy (RDI) and homeschool because the special education system in public school is a nightmare. She is high-functioning now because of all of our efforts. Had I left her to the ‘experts’ she would not be doing so well. Thanks be to God for His guidance through it all.

How many people, if presented with the option of accepting a gene modification therapy that never leaves your body and produces toxin continuously for at least several months, harms fertility, increases risk of heart disease, strokes, sudden death due to clots and heart attacks - how many people would have accepted that poison? And especially had they been told that the alternative was to simply get the disease and treat it with some vitamins and an easily available and very safe dewormer that happens, God be praised, to also work for said disease.
I am unvaxed also but had covid in February 2020 (before it was named covid but others around me got the blood test to verify later on), then again in August 2021 (new version I believe) and then again in August 2022 ( another new version). Each time I believe my body adjust accordly and did what it was meant to do. I have no adverse effects from any of the illnesses and give the glory to God whenever He brings me through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. I read a long time ago - sometime during the first months of the jab push - that shedding was going to be a problem. Bc of the shot, instead of killing the virus, the body shed it to find another host and / or mutate. I think what Bosch was describing is immune escape. That is what happens if you actually "vaccinate" into a pandemic. And back then I thought he was correct. But it's only correct if you are dealing with an actual virus using an actual vaccine, neither of which is true about this so-called pandemic.

My 50 year old daughter and I have had the conversation serveral times about Jesus's words of being salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16). At first she was adamant that a Christ follower not be the kind of salt that ruins the pot of soup. ("Quiet down Mom, you are way over the top!") As I reasoned with her during these conversations she finally understands that some of us are a little more "salt" than others. A happy balance of salt and light is best but not always the most useful in certain situations. She now understands that salt is an enhanser and a perservation tool and sometimes needs to be used sparingly then sometimes abundantly. Dried meat enthusiasts will understand this. Be salt and light in this dark world.

Wow .. there is an online Dr group . The FLCCC. They do tele-health with a Dr in your state & work with local pharmacies. I was able to get a script for compounded ivermectin from my regular compound pharmacy here in FL. But most regular Drs would NOT prescribe it here also.

And that's a heck of a lot of money, time and effort so why would the organ donation system approve ALS patient organs? Or organs from someone taking an experimental drug for years? I'm not even going to talk about covid shot organs because you know they are donating those... I just hope the organ recipients are given all the info so they can make the choice with full knowledge.

Well, as a critical care nurse, who routinely takes care of kidney, heart, lung, and liver failure patients, alive with a functioning but vaccinated organ is better than dying of organ failure now. If you need a liver, you take a liver that is offered or you will die one of the most horrifying deaths you can imagine. You can treat for complications of the jab. There is not a whole heck of a lot we can do for someone dying of liver failure. We can support failing lungs, hearts, and kidneys for a long time, but even then patients will eventually reach a life that isn’t much of a life when they are in true failure and a transplant can be a miracle.

Agreed. I am concerned in this case - because we don't truly know what causes ALS - how a person's organs would be affected that had it. I am no medical professional. But I do know my mom's organs were shutting down at the end and there would have been no purpose for her to donate them.

Thought the same. We recently filled out an advanced directive for my husband, he has stage 4 brain cancer. When they got to the organ donation question, I LOL'ed. He's also been on immunotherapy treatments for over a year. Who would want his organs? I don't think many healthy young people have advanced directives. I'm just sayin'...

I have changed my mind about organ donation recently. I will not be a donor. My lack of trust in the medical system makes me suspicious of how my body will be viewed at the time. Viewed as a body part source not as a human being. Will their treatment decisions depend on keeping “parts” alive? Will my family be coerced while they grieve? No, I’ve put my intentions in writing now to be sure.
Yes, organ donation does go to research, as well. And you would be surprised at what organs can be used. When someone is in true organ failure and needs a transplant, if someone else can donate a functioning organ, they are willing to try. They do test organ function of the donor patients and there are times that even planned transplants are declined when the harvested organ is seen and determined to be too damaged, but honestly, I know if I am brain dead and my organs can benefit anyone, I don’t want them to be cremated or buried with me, I want them to help someone.
The problem with your logic is that in your imagination you are brain dead but your organs are healthy. (As a medical student, I saw neurologists very carefully testing (yet another) motorcycle accident victim for responsiveness before pronouncing brain death, but I'm much less sanguine about today's crop of doctors.) What if you're "not dead yet" (insert Monty Python movie excerpt here), but, boy, do they want your organs. If you still think there are not licensed medical professionals willing to kill people ("she was just going to die, anyway"), I give you those who will murder a baby in the birth canal, just to keep it from being born, and what do they do then? Sell the organs. How far are we from the Chinese model of murdering political prisoners for 'organs on demand?' Not nearly as far as we used to be. And this research - might some of it be on ways to combine animals and humans? Only for a good cause, of course. No, not for me. I'll let my trusted holder of my medical power of attorney, someone who loves me, make the decision, not anyone else.
Everyone needs to make these decisions for themselves and their loved ones. I have seen brain death testing done and it is done multiple ways, so it is patently clear that the patient is brain dead. I know I am confident of that at my facility. I can’t speak to the policies at other facilities, though.

Have also heard stories first and second hand from emergency personnel who have said *never* have organ donation on record (driver's license, other card, medical record). Only let family/health care proxy verbally agree after full assessment and prognosis. They should know your wishes.
I'm not sure if he did it, but way back in the early '80s a fellow EMT, as I was at the time, said he was going to have "NO CPR" tattooed on his chest.
I worked as an ICU nurse in Alabama for 3 years up until 2020. Anytime we had a death we were required to call Legacy of Hope which is Alabama's organ and tissue donation organization. Even when we knew the patient would be ruled out for cancer, infectious disease, etc., we were still required to call and rule the person out. Alot of times the main organs may be failing but the patient would be an eye candidate. In fact, eyes were the main donation I saw during my time there. Fun fact: if the patient was not a registered donor they would ALWAYS contact the family after death to try to get them to approve donation for the deceased.
Canada refused transplants to 2 very sick people because they were not vaccinated. When these 2 sadly died because they were denied the transplants, medical personnel actually asked the next of kin to donate their organs. My head is spinning....

If you are having a surgery with the potential for lots of bleeding, I’d bank your own blood or get a trusted friend or family member to donate on your behalf. I’ve had to have several surgeries over the last year and refuse blood every time. I won’t be bullied.

Everyone is focused on the spike protein. As bad as that is, that is the least of the problems with this bio-weapon. We have to understand this "thing" - this bio-weapon - was created by the military to be an exterminating agent for depopulation that goes way beyond any short-term effects like SADS. Understood and agree whole-heartedly. What's telling is that the media makes no distinction between a standup guy like Steve Yzerman who is smart and by virtually all accounts has led an exemplary life and a degenerate like Dennis Rodman.
Rodman's always been a circus clown despite his talent as a defender and rebounding machine. I still remember Rodman's implosion in the parking lot at The Palace when they found him with a shotgun in his car which was the beginning of the final disintegration of the 'Bad Boys' team.
Yzerman, like most hockey players (I'm admittedly biased), is the consummate professional: dedicated and humble. He never provided fodder for the scandal rags. The legitimate sports media have always revered him which is why he is so respected.

I definitely feel lucky to live in a red state with explicit laws regarding exemptions so I was able to easily obtain one with my employer (who has in excess of 100,000 employees easily). Plus I’m in healthcare (not direct patient care but close) so when I got that exemption the weight of the world fell off my shoulders as the breadwinner in my family. Sadly I think it’s only a matter of time before we go the way of everyone else who no longer provides 24 hour service to people wherein I will have to find another job which might be difficult as an unvaccinated person. Ten years to retirement!
And then those "Federal Contractors" turned around and pushed it out for all of their subcontractors as well. My company happily said "whatever - we're write exemptions for anyone who wants one" but not all companies did.
I have a friend who gave in, got the JJ shot, then found out that _everyone_ at his company who applied for a religious exemption got them without any questions asked. He was a bit annoyed that he didn't try that route, but his fear was if he put in the exemption request, he'd be short-listed and lose his job that way. It was a mess all around.

OMG the federal contractor employer HR guy interviewed my spouse (working from home) for over an Hour despite the big online form filled out. My husband started bringing up his rights to a religious exemption under Title VII (thank you Peggy Hall). I had given him a cheat sheet with various ways to say this so that he would still be answering the questions but he just started blurting out "title VII!" to most of the slimy questions. Then the guy says, OK I have another question but I think I already know the answer. All those slimy questions came off the safer workforce group website. Fauci et al. Disgusting.
And, Josh, no exemptions were approved even using the ‘required’ information suggested from an “extremely well written and read sub-stack.” Both military and “well known” air cargo freight company, whose main business was government contracts, mandated the vaXx. Thus, at almost retirement age, our son took the high road and has started early military retirement (due to military’s aircraft ‘update’ change and his position eliminated). No it wasn’t the pilot in this case 😊. He would have had to retrain which would have eliminated a position for a younger AF person and he didn’t want that to happen and then retire after getting the needed training. He still has to get a flu shot when ‘they’ say he has too but he demands, politely, for a new, unopened, in the box vial which he opens and checks the contents. Unfortunately/fortunately he did not go back to the air cargo company because they caved to the dollar the first go around. He’s still looking for a pilot’s position in a reliable company while being trained to teach future pilots in simulators. (We told him his first lesson should be how to quickly and effectively remove “an unresponsive” pilot if needed. There’s one control in the pilots area that the co-pilot doesn’t have access to. Democrats were screwed today by the announcement of Diane Fienstein’s passing. Had the family delayed or not announced the news, Diane could have been sent to a good taxidermist and still be able cast votes. In the senate as she has ably done for the last few years. They could have provided her with a remote controlled powered chair with red and green lights that stragglers could flash for votes.
On ALS, mRNA *might* be worth experimenting with in people with the disease that fully understand what they are getting into. Please give me a second to explain my reasoning. ALS is an absolute horror show. My mom died over 7 years ago from ALS. ALS is 100% fatal, 100% of the time, and the most common kind, Bulbar Onset, usually means a person dies 14 months after diagnosis. My mom lasted about 15 months and watching her slowly pass was absolute agony and pure hell. I would have given anything in the world to change places with her. I am still heavily grieving and always will.
ALS doesn't care about race, age, gender, religion, morality, or anything else, although it is interesting to note that military members are twice as likely to be diagnosed. No one knows what causes it or why, but we do know it is fatal. What I am saying is those with ALS absolutely WILL DIE from the disease. If those folks are willing to try a drug, even an experimental one, I say let them. So long as they understand, why not? My mom would have. I would have supported her doing so. ANYTHING that can save their lives - perhaps - is worth it IMO. I'd give anything for her to still be here.

I agree. All I am saying is that for someone with ALS who absolutely will die - and they will - I personally see no problem trying anything and everything in order to live. Of course that is up to the person with the condition - if they don't want to try an experimental drug, they should not have to. If they agree to try, they should be given full disclosure as to what is in the drug and what it is made of. Maybe vaccines cause ALS - I have no idea. All I know is I want to see ALS end.
I agree with your sentiment. We cant discount every medication, vaccine, therapy which is possibly medically unsound in such cases of impending death, if there is the possibility of a future cure. Heck, we still treat cancer with poison therapy, but it is a cure for many. Hopefully one day that will change.

Agree and that's the basis of risk-benefit analysis, which used to be a cornerstone of medicine. If someone is suffering a horrible and life-shortening illness, then more risky treatments are justified. The guy given six months to live from cancer probably is willing to take a risk that a guy with a hangnail isn't willing to take.
The problem is that there just aren't enough people in these precarious medical situations to support sky-high pharma profits. So now everything is medicalized and risk-benefit trades have gone out the window. It's been replaced by mindless platitudes like "no one is safe until everyone is vaccinated". (Klaus Schwab actually said this.) Everyone gets the gene juice, not just people where it actually makes sense from a risk perspective.
But you are absolutely right in that this is a baby-bathwater situation. mRNA does have promise for certain extremely debilitating medical conditions, and ALS is horrible as I watched my uncle succumb to it. I know he would have tried almost anything.

I remember one day of seeing a second cousin who had it in the early stages. She bravely came to a family funeral. She could still walk but couldnt speak well. She had an ipad to communicate.
My memory is this though: she was a very observant Christian all her life, but when I saw her this time, it was like I saw a pure angel. I perceived a radiance of an unearthly spiritual nature eminating from her. I can only imagine what she and her husband/caretaker endured after that... Yes, if the product was made by honest people in good faith, and if the patient gets to have truly informed consent. Who thinks any of that is true anymore, though? And what about the motivations of those recommending such therapies? I'm reminded of a situation when I was in medical school in the '80s when a surgery resident had implied to a young-middle-aged woman with cancer that he might be able to save her life, if she would let him do a procedure called a total exenteration ("Total exenteration refers to removal of the uterus, tubes, ovaries, parametrium, bladder, rectum or rectal segment, vagina, urethra, and a portion of the levator muscles"). The attending physicians (the teaching/clinical professors) challenged him publicly in conferences where such cases were discussed; it was clear that none of them thought it was ethical on his part, because they believed she would die soon anyway, but only after terrific pain and suffering from the surgery. (I don't know what her insurance/financial situation was, either.) However, they did not tell him, a licensed physician, though in training, that he could not do it. His attitude in these conferences was so offensive I almost spoke up myself - smug, self-satisfied, happy that he would be the only surgery resident to have 'total exenteration' on his list of procedures done during training. He disgusted me, as did the resident who laughed at me when he told me my elderly male patient with pneumonia had died on the ward, this resident having denied him entry into the ICU for no apparent reason. And that was 40 years ago. I think ethical standards in my former profession have fallen very far since then. Just because a so-called therapeutic alternative exists doesn't mean it's being offered (or denied) for ethical reasons.
Some of the memories I have from medical school make me cry. Not only were patients abused, but we students were forced to do things with inadequate support and supervision, so it was emotionally difficult as well. Much of the training was excellent, and there were great attendings and residents, but then there were these others.

Chiropractor cost is out of reach for us. I give her joint compressions and massage every night before bed to give her necessary sensory input and relax her system. Otherwise she wouldn’t sleep. We are careful with her diet, and give her a lot of emotional support. But it’s my husband and I who administer all her therapy (RDI) and homeschool because the special education system in public school is a nightmare. She is high-functioning now because of all of our efforts. Had I left her to the ‘experts’ she would not be doing so well. Thanks be to God for His guidance through it all.

How many people, if presented with the option of accepting a gene modification therapy that never leaves your body and produces toxin continuously for at least several months, harms fertility, increases risk of heart disease, strokes, sudden death due to clots and heart attacks - how many people would have accepted that poison? And especially had they been told that the alternative was to simply get the disease and treat it with some vitamins and an easily available and very safe dewormer that happens, God be praised, to also work for said disease.

I think what Bosch was describing is immune escape. That is what happens if you actually "vaccinate" into a pandemic. And back then I thought he was correct. But it's only correct if you are dealing with an actual virus using an actual vaccine, neither of which is true about this so-called pandemic.

My 50 year old daughter and I have had the conversation serveral times about Jesus's words of being salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16). At first she was adamant that a Christ follower not be the kind of salt that ruins the pot of soup. ("Quiet down Mom, you are way over the top!") As I reasoned with her during these conversations she finally understands that some of us are a little more "salt" than others. A happy balance of salt and light is best but not always the most useful in certain situations. She now understands that salt is an enhanser and a perservation tool and sometimes needs to be used sparingly then sometimes abundantly. Dried meat enthusiasts will understand this. Be salt and light in this dark world.

Well, as a critical care nurse, who routinely takes care of kidney, heart, lung, and liver failure patients, alive with a functioning but vaccinated organ is better than dying of organ failure now. If you need a liver, you take a liver that is offered or you will die one of the most horrifying deaths you can imagine. You can treat for complications of the jab. There is not a whole heck of a lot we can do for someone dying of liver failure. We can support failing lungs, hearts, and kidneys for a long time, but even then patients will eventually reach a life that isn’t much of a life when they are in true failure and a transplant can be a miracle.

Agreed. I am concerned in this case - because we don't truly know what causes ALS - how a person's organs would be affected that had it. I am no medical professional. But I do know my mom's organs were shutting down at the end and there would have been no purpose for her to donate them.

Thought the same. We recently filled out an advanced directive for my husband, he has stage 4 brain cancer. When they got to the organ donation question, I LOL'ed. He's also been on immunotherapy treatments for over a year. Who would want his organs? I don't think many healthy young people have advanced directives. I'm just sayin'...
However, I think organ donation may also mean 'for research'? I'm not sure does anyone on here know?
I have changed my mind about organ donation recently. I will not be a donor. My lack of trust in the medical system makes me suspicious of how my body will be viewed at the time. Viewed as a body part source not as a human being. Will their treatment decisions depend on keeping “parts” alive? Will my family be coerced while they grieve? No, I’ve put my intentions in writing now to be sure.

Yes, organ donation does go to research, as well. And you would be surprised at what organs can be used. When someone is in true organ failure and needs a transplant, if someone else can donate a functioning organ, they are willing to try. They do test organ function of the donor patients and there are times that even planned transplants are declined when the harvested organ is seen and determined to be too damaged, but honestly, I know if I am brain dead and my organs can benefit anyone, I don’t want them to be cremated or buried with me, I want them to help someone.
The problem with your logic is that in your imagination you are brain dead but your organs are healthy. (As a medical student, I saw neurologists very carefully testing (yet another) motorcycle accident victim for responsiveness before pronouncing brain death, but I'm much less sanguine about today's crop of doctors.) What if you're "not dead yet" (insert Monty Python movie excerpt here), but, boy, do they want your organs. If you still think there are not licensed medical professionals willing to kill people ("she was just going to die, anyway"), I give you those who will murder a baby in the birth canal, just to keep it from being born, and what do they do then? Sell the organs. How far are we from the Chinese model of murdering political prisoners for 'organs on demand?' Not nearly as far as we used to be. And this research - might some of it be on ways to combine animals and humans? Only for a good cause, of course. No, not for me. I'll let my trusted holder of my medical power of attorney, someone who loves me, make the decision, not anyone else.
Everyone needs to make these decisions for themselves and their loved ones. I have seen brain death testing done and it is done multiple ways, so it is patently clear that the patient is brain dead. I know I am confident of that at my facility. I can’t speak to the policies at other facilities, though.
Interesting that’s the way I think about it too, but now pause a bit. My SIL was a career emergency room nurse and she won’t donate because of the way bodies are mishandled. Saw too much I guess. I was taken aback at her comments though.

Have also heard stories first and second hand from emergency personnel who have said *never* have organ donation on record (driver's license, other card, medical record). Only let family/health care proxy verbally agree after full assessment and prognosis. They should know your wishes.

I worked as an ICU nurse in Alabama for 3 years up until 2020. Anytime we had a death we were required to call Legacy of Hope which is Alabama's organ and tissue donation organization. Even when we knew the patient would be ruled out for cancer, infectious disease, etc., we were still required to call and rule the person out. Alot of times the main organs may be failing but the patient would be an eye candidate. In fact, eyes were the main donation I saw during my time there. Fun fact: if the patient was not a registered donor they would ALWAYS contact the family after death to try to get them to approve donation for the deceased.

Everyone is focused on the spike protein. As bad as that is, that is the least of the problems with this bio-weapon. We have to understand this "thing" - this bio-weapon - was created by the military to be an exterminating agent for depopulation that goes way beyond any short-term effects like SADS. In addition to that, the bio-weapon contains elements designed to eventually be able to control humans digitally from the inside thus eliminating the need for kinetic solutions like concentration camps or gas chambers. Understood and agree whole-heartedly. What's telling is that the media makes no distinction between a standup guy like Steve Yzerman who is smart and by virtually all accounts has led an exemplary life and a degenerate like Dennis Rodman.

I definitely feel lucky to live in a red state with explicit laws regarding exemptions so I was able to easily obtain one with my employer (who has in excess of 100,000 employees easily). Plus I’m in healthcare (not direct patient care but close) so when I got that exemption the weight of the world fell off my shoulders as the breadwinner in my family. Sadly I think it’s only a matter of time before we go the way of everyone else who no longer provides 24 hour service to people wherein I will have to find another job which might be difficult as an unvaccinated person. And then those "Federal Contractors" turned around and pushed it out for all of their subcontractors as well. My company happily said "whatever - we're write exemptions for anyone who wants one" but not all companies did.
I have a friend who gave in, got the JJ shot, then found out that _everyone_ at his company who applied for a religious exemption got them without any questions asked. He was a bit annoyed that he didn't try that route, but his fear was if he put in the exemption request, he'd be short-listed and lose his job that way. It was a mess all around.

OMG the federal contractor employer HR guy interviewed my spouse (working from home) for over an Hour despite the big online form filled out. My husband started bringing up his rights to a religious exemption under Title VII (thank you Peggy Hall). I had given him a cheat sheet with various ways to say this so that he would still be answering the questions but he just started blurting out "title VII!" to most of the slimy questions. Then the guy says, OK I have another question but I think I already know the answer. All those slimy questions came off the safer workforce group website. Fauci et al. Disgusting.

And, Josh, no exemptions were approved even using the ‘required’ information suggested from an “extremely well written and read sub-stack.” Both military and “well known” air cargo freight company, whose main business was government contracts, mandated the vaXx. Thus, at almost retirement age, our son took the high road and has started early military retirement (due to military’s aircraft ‘update’ change and his position eliminated). No it wasn’t the pilot in this case 😊. He would have had to retrain which would have eliminated a position for a younger AF person and he didn’t want that to happen and then retire after getting the needed training. He still has to get a flu shot when ‘they’ say he has too but he demands, politely, for a new, unopened, in the box vial which he opens and checks the contents. Unfortunately/fortunately he did not go back to the air cargo company because they caved to the dollar the first go around. He’s still looking for a pilot’s position in a reliable company while being trained to teach future pilots in simulators. (We told him his first lesson should be how to quickly and effectively remove “an unresponsive” pilot if needed. There’s one control in the pilots area that the co-pilot doesn’t have access to. His answer? ROGER THAT!)

On ALS, mRNA *might* be worth experimenting with in people with the disease that fully understand what they are getting into. Please give me a second to explain my reasoning. ALS is an absolute horror show. My mom died over 7 years ago from ALS. ALS is 100% fatal, 100% of the time, and the most common kind, Bulbar Onset, usually means a person dies 14 months after diagnosis. My mom lasted about 15 months and watching her slowly pass was absolute agony and pure hell. I would have given anything in the world to change places with her. I am still heavily grieving and always will.
ALS doesn't care about race, age, gender, religion, morality, or anything else, although it is interesting to note that military members are twice as likely to be diagnosed. No one knows what causes it or why, but we do know it is fatal. What I am saying is those with ALS absolutely WILL DIE from the disease. If those folks are willing to try a drug, even an experimental one, I say let them. So long as they understand, why not? My mom would have. I would have supported her doing so. ANYTHING that can save their lives - perhaps - is worth it IMO. I'd give anything for her to still be here.

I agree. All I am saying is that for someone with ALS who absolutely will die - and they will - I personally see no problem trying anything and everything in order to live. Of course that is up to the person with the condition - if they don't want to try an experimental drug, they should not have to. If they agree to try, they should be given full disclosure as to what is in the drug and what it is made of. Maybe vaccines cause ALS - I have no idea. All I know is I want to see ALS end.
I agree with your sentiment. We cant discount every medication, vaccine, therapy which is possibly medically unsound in such cases of impending death, if there is the possibility of a future cure. Heck, we still treat cancer with poison therapy, but it is a cure for many. Hopefully one day that will change.

Agree and that's the basis of risk-benefit analysis, which used to be a cornerstone of medicine. If someone is suffering a horrible and life-shortening illness, then more risky treatments are justified. The guy given six months to live from cancer probably is willing to take a risk that a guy with a hangnail isn't willing to take.
The problem is that there just aren't enough people in these precarious medical situations to support sky-high pharma profits. So now everything is medicalized and risk-benefit trades have gone out the window. It's been replaced by mindless platitudes like "no one is safe until everyone is vaccinated". (Klaus Schwab actually said this.) Everyone gets the gene juice, not just people where it actually makes sense from a risk perspective.
But you are absolutely right in that this is a baby-bathwater situation. mRNA does have promise for certain extremely debilitating medical conditions, and ALS is horrible as I watched my uncle succumb to it. I know he would have tried almost anything.
I'm so sorry about your uncle and that you had to see that happen. No one really gets how awful it is until it happens to someone they know. And I see the point - since ALS is not common, a whole lot of money needs to be dumped into it to save a few. But perhaps I am just prejudiced because it took someone I loved and still need to this day.
I remember one day of seeing a second cousin who had it in the early stages. She bravely came to a family funeral. She could still walk but couldnt speak well. She had an ipad to communicate.
My memory is this though: she was a very observant Christian all her life, but when I saw her this time, it was like I saw a pure angel. I perceived a radiance of an unearthly spiritual nature eminating from her. I can only imagine what she and her husband/caretaker endured after that... I firmly believe that she is now in a place of light and refreshment with our Lord. BLESSED are those who suffer, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Yes, if the product was made by honest people in good faith, and if the patient gets to have truly informed consent. Who thinks any of that is true anymore, though? And what about the motivations of those recommending such therapies? I'm reminded of a situation when I was in medical school in the '80s when a surgery resident had implied to a young-middle-aged woman with cancer that he might be able to save her life, if she would let him do a procedure called a total exenteration ("Total exenteration refers to removal of the uterus, tubes, ovaries, parametrium, bladder, rectum or rectal segment, vagina, urethra, and a portion of the levator muscles"). The attending physicians (the teaching/clinical professors) challenged him publicly in conferences where such cases were discussed; it was clear that none of them thought it was ethical on his part, because they believed she would die soon anyway, but only after terrific pain and suffering from the surgery. (I don't know what her insurance/financial situation was, either.) However, they did not tell him, a licensed physician, though in training, that he could not do it. His attitude in these conferences was so offensive I almost spoke up myself - smug, self-satisfied, happy that he would be the only surgery resident to have 'total exenteration' on his list of procedures done during training. He disgusted me, as did the resident who laughed at me when he told me my elderly male patient with pneumonia had died on the ward, this resident having denied him entry into the ICU for no apparent reason. And that was 40 years ago. I think ethical standards in my former profession have fallen very far since then. Just because a so-called therapeutic alternative exists doesn't mean it's being offered (or denied) for ethical reasons.
Wow, just wow. Things have sure gone downhill since then, too. The evil that exists in the medical profession (not all of it, obviously) makes me ill.
Some of the memories I have from medical school make me cry. Not only were patients abused, but we students were forced to do things with inadequate support and supervision, so it was emotionally difficult as well. Much of the training was excellent, and there were great attendings and residents, but then there were these others.

The border crisis is 100% on Biden. During the September 2019 Democratic presidential-primary debate, Biden quite literally promised that he would make sure there was a “surge” to the border, and that all who came would be allowed entry into the country. Biden’s time in office is historic in that for the first time ever, an American president defaulted to a position in polar opposition to federal law. Instead of the conventional block, detain, deport and deter of all previous Democratic Party presidents, the Biden administration has taken the formal stated position that southern border traffic should be made “safe, humane and orderly” into the nation’s interior. During fiscal year 2021, there were 1.72 million Border Patrol apprehensions—then a record, and 400% more than fiscal year 2020. The 2021 record didn’t last long. It lay shattered in fiscal year 2022 when the numbers reached 2.37 million. None of this counts “got-aways,” immigrants who eluded capture.
