Thank you Katherine. Yes, I vaccinated her with the typical childhood vaccines and don’t doubt that this has damaged her. It’s heartbreaking to think about it. The environmental toxins cause a breakdown of the myelin sheathing in the nervous system, this is a fact. I was ignorant at that time.
Unfortunately, we have found that much of the ‘therapies’ are a lot of hype. There is NO cure for autism no matter who says there is. There is money to be made in false hope though. If there were a cure, trust me I would have found it since I have left no stone unturned these last 8 years of research.
Chiropractor cost is out of reach for us. I give her joint compressions and massage every night before bed to give her necessary sensory input and relax her system. Otherwise she wouldn’t sleep. We are careful with her diet, and give her a lot of emotional support. But it’s my husband and I who administer all her therapy (RDI) and homeschool because the special education system in public school is a nightmare. She is high-functioning now because of all of our efforts. Had I left her to the ‘experts’ she would not be doing so well. Thanks be to God for His guidance through it all.
I am in disbelief at how many are on the schedule compared to the 80s! RFKJR has highlighted this many times. The media and even his relatives brand him as a nut because of it. 😡

Thank you Kim. I definitely believe real, organic food, restful sleep, and a loving, devoted family is God’s prescription medicine. This is how we chose to treat our sweet girl’s autism. I never want people to pity her or us, although prayers are welcome! She is a tremendous joy despite the challenges: )
I'm sorry your efforts to recover your child haven't borne any fruit. But there are too many stories of kids that have gotten much better to say treatments never work. My older daughter (now 23) had PDD-NOS and we treated her with several biomedical treatments. We saw the best results with DMSA chelation. She was 3 1/2 at the time. The kids all react differently, and age is a big factor - the earlier the treatment starts the better. The kids born in the 90s had mercury loads, younger kids have aluminum loads and more glyphosate and electromagnetic "smog". PANS/PANDAS is a big factor now, due to mutations driven by the blasted vaxxes and probably increased permeability of the blood brain barrier. A lot of kids with PANDAS end up with autism diagnoses these days.
Oh but my efforts HAVE absolutely been fruitful as I said in my post. My daughter went from barely writing her name to being academically close to her grade level in 4 years of homeschool.
There is always support, education, and strategies to help people on the spectrum. But I don’t believe there is a cure. I’m glad you’ve had a positive experience with helping your child.
Something may be helpful or harmful to a person with autism but a cure there is not. I’ve also heard many horror stories of desperate parents trying to ‘cure’ their child of autism. We are taking a natural approach and it’s benefiting my daughter significantly. Thank God.

I’ve seen the public school version of education for autistic children., up close and personal. You are doing the right thing.
I wouldn’t choose it for regular education students either.
My advice is to homeschool for all.
