About the shooting v jabbing. If they shot them in secret and hid the bodies away then randomly laid them on the street a year or so later and then people got huffy - you could just ask them condescendingly "What difference does it make at this point how they died". So yeah, it could be a lot like SADS. After a while, who cares. Bullets, needles... meh. At least they are gone. It's a mad world.
