And to throw a funny wrench into this argument, since we are in the topic of dogs…in dog breeds, not only physical characteristics, but some behavioral characteristics appear to be genetic. My golden retriever fetched as a puppy, shepherds nip heels and herd kids and ducks and sheep, without being taught.
So my musing is, what in the human world is the parallel behaviorally? I come from a long line of nurses and became a doctor. Is that in my DNA? Are some families inherently friendlier? More aggressive? Just pondering….
