Pray for peace. Only the new Camelot can restore our shining city on a hill and prevent it from falling to the DNC’s anti-human, anti-science, anti-democratic dark ages. Peace loving patriots RFK and Tulsi left the Democrats to endorse Trump, while warmongers like Cheney and Kinzinger left the Republicans to endorse Kamala. The contrast could not be more clear in this realignment.

Juju's avatar

What a team Trump is building. It takes a special kind of leader to pull off wooing so much talent.

Tulsi Gabbard speaks with such confidence, decency, and strength, far more presidential than any woman who came before her. To think the Democratic Party had someone like her all this time and yet they threw it away is mind-boggling.

Based Florida Man's avatar

Tulsi is like someone that AI would generate as a perfect politician; attractive, athletic, non-White but 'acceptable' diversity from her Hawaiian roots. Smart, and a military record to boot.

But she's real. Like you said, the fact the Dumbocrats forced her into the hands of Trump of all people... wow. She could emerge at the top of the heap if things work out.

it's crazy how ppl are having to wake up on their own. God does not force us, he helps us wake up and see 'for ourselves' what fools we've been and the alternative that feels GOOD and right and true. As the saying goes, if it's all handed to you, you would never appreciate it. That is the problem with the democrats/satanists/atheists...they have ZERO gratitude or thankfulness and will never experience joy b/c of it. They dance to satans self destructive song.

Politico Phil--this was in my Century Link feed. https://centurylink.net/news/read/article/straight_arrow_news-trump_supporters_walk_out_on_maga_rally_before_it-sanews

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump took the stage in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, and was greeted by a roaring crowd. Then something unusual happened, Trump didn’t retain the crowd he started with.

As is typical with his rallies, it began with a packed house of supporters holding signs and wearing Trump gear. By the end of his one hour and 45-minute speech, many had already left. Photos appeared to show entire sections of the 8,000 seat arena nearly empty, something unheard of for a MAGA event in 2020 and 2016.

Reporting from The Guardian explains why some attendees moved for the exits.

“He reminded me why I’m not going to vote for him this time,” Jenny, a local business owner, told the outlet. “I voted for him in 2016 and had a Trump flag in the front yard. I voted for him again in 2020 but didn’t put the flag out that time."

“But after listening to that, I’m actually afraid of Trump being president again. I don’t know what he was talking about half the time. Perhaps he was always like that but he seems worse, more unstable,” she added.

MAGA rallies are quintessential Trump. His ability to work a crowd helped him turn Luzerne County red in 2016 and 2020 after voting for Obama twice.

“Trump’s got to focus on the message and not get distracted by personal attacks,” said Frank Scavo, a supporter who attended the rally. “These rallies fire up the base to go out there and knock on doors. But if we don’t get people out there knocking on doors, Trump’s not going to win Luzerne county.”

It appears Trump doesn’t want to listen. At a rally in North Carolina on Aug. 21, Trump conducted a poll of his supporters in the crowd. He asked two questions: Should I get personal? Should I not get personal?

The crowd cheered the former and booed the latter.

“My advisers are fired,” Trump joked.

Who here would be able to withstand as much as he has--the trials, the unrelenting and constant accusations. Sure he has attorneys , yet.... Then being shot. Obvious lack of SS professionalism., probable cover up. Trauma and tome out for a lesser person. Great stress from so many angles. Who here could stand up to many attacks while flying repeatedly., constant speeches. This man has not had time for decent rest. I have been worried about him for months now, he looks worn out. Prayers people, give him some Grace, practice Grace yourselves. To say will not vote for him suggests you believe communism a better choice. As someone said this is not choosing a valentine, it is choosing above all else who is best for our Country. Remember he is doing this for us. Show support. Pray more

There’s no such thing as race. White black all shades and colors. We’re all human being made in the image of HaShem.

Jeff C's avatar

Joseph, with respect you are wrong. There absolutely is such a thing as race with quantifiable differences between them. There is large overlap, but GENERALLY there are definable characteristics that people of a common race share. Some behavioral differences result from culture no doubt, but even when normalizing for cultural influences, strong differences remain.

All people are loved by God and made in his image as the Bible declares. But please don't make observably false statements such as "there is no such thing as race". Anyone who lives in reality knows this isn't true.

Fla Mom's avatar

In medicine, we used to be taught that there were biological differences between races and sexes regarding such things as which blood pressure drug worked best. Some blood test parameters vary as well. I read not long ago that (a lab? some labs?) were doing away with reporting separate result ranges for normal results, so those with less experience, a poorer memory for numbers, or lack of access to pre-DEI lab value ranges might miss a significant problem in a patient. It's true that there are more and more mixed-race people, so with a lot of time there may indeed be less need for careful evaluation of lab values and dug effects, but in the meantime it's just one more example of ignoring reality to virtue-signal, but in a very dangerous way.

Irunthis1's avatar

This is a significant problem and it reared its ugly head with regard to kidney transplant patients. The definition of renal failure varies depending on a persons genetic race in that what is “normal” value for African American patient would be in the failure or near failure range for Caucasian patients. This was kicking white people out of line for kidney transplant when they were far sicker than their African American counterparts who were fairly renally stable.

patrick.net/memes's avatar

Oh absolutely. Even given just a single tooth, it is possible to distinguish European from African:

https://analyticalscience.wiley.com/content/news-do/human-teeth-europe-and-africa-different

And that's just one method. I've read that teeth also fluoresce differently between the different races.

Lisa Ca's avatar

❤️ Great point.

Politico Phil's avatar

Jeff - and Fl Man - with respect, this is wrong. This is a fallacy of woke racism and Marxist division. We are using the wrong definition of "race". There is ONLY one human race - period. If...all of humanity came from one set of parents then there can be only one human race. Of course, I'm referring to the Biblical account. I have also seen genetic studies that concluded that all of mankind originally came from one set of parents. WE ARE ALL RELATED. Classifying observable differences in the human race as "races" is an erroneous definition and plays right into the hands of the Marxists and the eugenicists.

Fla Mom's avatar

I think you're wrong biologically, Phil; how about dog breeds? Presumably, there was one Ur-dog, one 'kind' ("two of every kind," Gen. 6:20a, as explained by Answers in Genesis below; variety among 'kinds' is also explained there, or simply by watching people create new breeds of all kinds of domestic animals in our lifetimes). Dog breeds now are so different from one another that a food or medicine that can be given to most can be fatal in others. That came about by breeding in isolation, as happened with humans over time in geographic areas that were far apart. Dogs are also all related, so much so that they can physically breed among themselves, but that doesn't erase the differences between Collies, Chihuahuas, and Central Asian Shepherd Dogs. Humans are all "created equal," because we are all made in the image of God. That doesn't make us equal materially on Earth, in many respects, though we are biologically very similar. See my other comment in this thread about race and sex differences in lab values and medication effects.

https://answersingenesis.org/creation-science/baraminology/what-are-kinds-in-genesis/

Jeff C's avatar

Phil - I disagree with you here, though it may be a matter of semantics. Perhaps race is not the correct terminology, maybe a better one is tribes (though that is not quite right either).

Like you, I believe we all came from a common parents as the Bible plainly states. I reject evolution as an explanation of how we came to be, however it is eminently clear *adaptation* takes place. Adaptation is when an organism changes over short timescales to be more suited to it's environment. We see obvious signs of adaptation all around us, Darwin's finches being the classic example. While Darwin was wrong in his overall conclusions (evolution), his observations regarding adaptation are clearly true.

Human groups were isolated from each other for tens of thousands of years (or longer) before long-distance travel became commonplace. These groups adapted differently; physically attributes, intelligence types, emotional development, and spiritually. Though we are all humans and children of God, we have different GENERAL characteristics. Not completely different as there is large overlap, but the averages are different in quantifiable measures.

This wasn't invented by Marxists but is obviously true to anyone who cares to look. The Marxists haven't created "race" (or tribes or whatever you want to call it) but have used it as a cudgel to turn people against each other. For example, Whites are to blame for the failures of Blacks while the differences between the "races" are ignored. Then at the same time, they also say race is irrelevant and that any shortcoming by an ethnic group can only be explained by discrimination. They do this while pretending obvious counter-example such as Black dominance in the NBA and the NFL don't exist (which points to different physical attributes between races).

I really respect your opinion Phil but I think you have this one exactly backwards. Marxists didn't invent race, it's been around since human groups separated after the fall. What they invented was using it as tool of manipulation and guilt.

daverkb's avatar

1) The insanity of Woke is their contradictory Woke assertion that number one (1) we are all alike, and (2) we are all different ... and all at the same ... and according to whatever 'agenda' and/or 'narrative' is being pushed in any given instance.

2) The other observation is that people seem to understand what grouping they are in ... and without having to be tutored in what or who they are. They by evidences seen just know automatically. They manifestly self-identify. Chinese people, for example, never mistake themselves for Africans; and Africans don't think that they are Chinese. And it does little good to argue over labels, because people know who they are and what broad category they belong to ... label or no label.

3) The Left many years ago, in an early rush to proto-inclusiveness were ever so fond of pointing out that the genetic difference between apes and chimps (etc.) and Man was only two some percent in genetic make-up. We were suppose to oo and ah over this great discovery of fact in some pseudo-fit of brotherhood, solidarity, equality ... or whatever. However, the more astute among us could equally and more properly state with absolute certainty that 'little differences make for big differences'. And just something to think about.

4) I note Fla Mom quite is quite correct as to practical observations in medicine. And in general, I overall quite concur with the general drift of Fla Mom's comment. Furthermore, bio-weapon engineers well understand that we are all not the same, otherwise they could not design weapons for group selectivity. And these same people seem to understand that little differences has large scale, over-arching significance.

5) No ... Marxists did not make up race. The have merely appropriated what the foot traffic says observably exists, twisted it around, and appropriated it unto their own warped purposes, with divide and conquer being one of them.

laura-ann Knox's avatar

Yes, AND.

race is a nicer way to say it than "breed", as in dogs. We all know that all dogs can interbreed, different breeds just have different morphological characteristics

Dawn B's avatar

There are many mysteries we will just have to wonder about.

I wonder if there is a seed of satan. Could some be of fallen angel blood? They (elite, royalty) do keep their bloodline pure and do not mix with commoners. Something to ponder...

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Matthew Witt's avatar

This topic gets spiky quickly. Regarding heritable traits, the evidence I am familiar with makes clear there is no marker for "race". We see "race". What our genes (and God) sees is remarkable consistency at the level of DNA. Evidence claiming significance regarding other differences that I have encountered suffer from serious logical flaws. This is to say nothing about the evidence for epigenetic adaptations, which pose other serious challenges to presumptions about fixed, heritable traits. What we have, overwhelmingly in common, is our capacity for adaptation. All other differences redound to variations on a theme, so many genetic alleles for this or that attribute like hair and eye color. All adaptations to environmental conditions, God only cares about so far as He cares equivalently for us all.

Politico Phil's avatar

Oh my, thank you so much! You definitely have a superior background by which to explain this as compared to my feeble attempts. "Regarding heritable traits, the evidence I am familiar with makes clear there is no marker for "race". We see "race"."

I'm just going to leave it at that. That sums it all up. However, please feel free to elaborate.

patrick.net/memes's avatar

Yes, exactly. To take the rainbow as an analogy: there are different colors, though the exact borders are fuzzy.

To claim there is no such thing as race is the same as declaring that there are no different colors in the rainbow in spite of how obvious they are.

I understand the sentiment of wanting human unity, but race is obviously real, and there are significant measurable and visible differences between the different races.

Politico Phil's avatar

Again, define "race" for me. I am not advocating a sentiment. I am trying to point out reality and represent it semantically in an accurate manner. Not to nit-pick but the rainbow analogy really doesn't carry any water. If anything, it reinforces my statement that there is only one human race with lots of variability. What IS a race?

Nikki (Gayle) Nicholson's avatar

Jeff C, in our world that is right on target. :-)

A New DAY is DAWNING's avatar

True. Differences in phenotypes.....but... who and what precepts is the great equalizer?

Jeff C's avatar

The great equalizer is that we are all children of God.

My statement was aimed at an observably false claim (no such thing as race) that is unicorn thinking. We don't improve things in life by wishing away reality and pretending demonstrably true facts aren't real. We accept reality and deal with it.

I think the idea was that maybe Creation does evolve, post-creation. There is some evidence to support that, right? Even on a personal level, we evolve as we understand more about the world around us, we learn new skills and improve old ones. We come up with new technologies.

Or is everything we see, including the things we make with our own hands, God's creation? If that's the argument, I guess I don't have any more to to contribute.

Fla Mom's avatar

Oregon Kathy, "The [TSA] agent told her he’d encountered supporters of a certain former president who’d had no issues traveling before, but were now “marked quad-S every time they traveled.” Gabbard shrugged and slogged through, still encountering extra security. At one flight, she says, there were “at least six TSA agents doing additional screening,” along with canine support. “There were dogs in Dallas when we got there, dogs at a couple of the gates.”

"She called a colleague, who told her: these things happen, don’t worry. “So I thought, ‘Maybe I’m just being paranoid,’” Gabbard says. Then she saw this past Sunday’s report in Uncover DC, a site edited by the well-known Twitter writer Tracy Beanz. Uncover interviewed Sonya LaBosco, the Executive Director of the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC), an advocacy association for Federal Air Marshals. Disclosing Gabbard had been placed on a domestic terror watch list, the former Marshal LaBosco told a disturbing story:

"According to LaBosco… Gabbard is unaware she has two Explosive Detection Canine Teams, one Transportation Security Specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA Supervisor, and three Federal Air Marshals on every flight she boards.

"Uncover DC said Gabbard was initially placed on the list on July 23rd, and that trios of Air Marshals first began following her on flights on July 25th. As Racket would learn, surveillance was conducted on at least eight flights, with different three-Marshal teams for each flight, part of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) “Quiet Skies” regimen that can literally surround people with human watchers. There are “potentially 15 or more TSA uniformed and plain clothes” at a gate for such assignments, LaBosco told Racket. The story about Gabbard was surfaced by two TSA whistleblowers, including one detailed to follow her. When Gabbard read this, she felt a shock of recognition.

"“When I saw that, I thought, ‘Wow, okay. So everything I was experiencing was exactly what I feared was going on,’” she says."

Don’t forget traitor Pence is also endorsing Kommie-la

Based Florida Man's avatar

We call him 30 Pence.

Thirty pieces of silver was the price for which Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus.

The literal definition of treason.

Freebird's avatar

Judas Pence, he has to own that name.

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

Glorious! Perfect nickname.

30 Pence is good. I also call him just plain Judas Pence - the commie neocon traitor to the Constitution. Take your 30 pieces of silver and go away, Judas Pence.

Julie Ann B's avatar

I wonder how many “pieces of silver” Judas Pence received to subvert the constitution and certify a fraudulent election?

jmsmithmd's avatar

What was the significance of the coin that was handed to him at the end of the certification?

One of his 30 pieces of silver for betraying President Trump.

I didn’t know that! Thanks for pointing this out. I didn’t like Pence from the beginning; I now find him loathsome. His Kommie-la endorsement is more evidence of his dark nature.

You see how ALL leftist msm propaganda works? They keep on promoting negative news (anything they can find, no matter how petty) about Trump to sway people's opinions.

They NEVER did that about Biden or about Kamala.

Even when Biden's dementia became publicly noticed, the coverage was still quite light and delicate in comparison.

So the sheep go to sleep with neutral emotions regarding one and negative emotions about the other.

Being that it is pre election time, one might even say this is election interference.

I heard yesterday that Trump has HUGE support from men but almost zero support from women. I'm sorry, but choosing a white man AGAIN as his running mate (altho younger which is a plus), makes him look more like a racist misogynist.

CBS News reports more than 200 Republicans who worked for former President George H.W. Bush, former President George W. Bush, Sen. John McCain and Sen. Mitt Romney endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, saying democracy would be "irreparably jeopardized" by another Trump administration.

And we wonder why the GOP can't win. It's because all of our leaders are actually Democrats who pretend to be Republican then do whatever the Democrats want. If the Trump era has shown us anything it's that the ruling elite are all the same no matter which party they belong to.

Meanwhile, two former presidential candidates who are Democrats have endorsed Trump.

The Republican/Democrat divide is false, as is the Conservative/Liberal divide. The true divide is insiders (ruling class/uniparty/useful idiots) vs. outsiders (everyone else). Just saw a photo from a few years back of GWB, Obama, Clinton, Bush Sr. and their spouses all happily smiling together. Yet none of them would/will do that with Trump despite the fact he's politically a pretty moderate Republican. He's an outsider who cannot be controlled, so he's persona non grata.

These staffers are Uniparty insiders as is most of the GOP leadership. Trump, RFK Jr, Tulsi, and a small group of GOP politicians (such as Hawley and Ron Johnson) are outsiders.

Heterodox Introvert's avatar

Factoid: Obama, Clinton, Bushes are all distant cousins. They and all but a handful of US presidents are of the maternal line from King John of England, 13c signer of the Magna Carta, later nicknamed John Lackland since he was so good at losing lands in warfare and lawfare. (They do have a sense of humor those Brits.) Oh yes. Note not all are necessarily legitimate (my failure, haven't done all that homework for final verification) as John had many mistresses/concubines. Raise any questions? Final note: I suspect any number of Americans could find themselves in Lackland's family tree because at this point there are likely millions... Billions?

Doug's avatar

There aren't a billion Americans, friend.

Heterodox Introvert's avatar

Correct, there aren't. I should have made the extrapolation to planetwide more clear. My error. It's not ALL I took away from the comment.

I guess how I feel about the comment is we're ALL related if you go back far enough. My grandfather traced his lineage back to French kings several hundred years ago - I don't feel any semblance of royalty flowing in my veins.

So to your comment "raise any questions?", I reply no. What happens in one's lineage is much less important than how one conducts oneself in the present. Historically interesting or not, we all have scallywags in our family tree; we choose whether or not to emulate them every minute of our lives.

Or do you think I'm missing some other important point here?

FH's avatar

I need a constant reminder, even though I already know this to be true. We are in an information war.

LMWC's avatar

CBS news, first off. Second: note 200 former workers for all these war criminals. Not one actual name given. Does anyone really care? The neocons have used this trick for years. It won’t sway one Trump supporter, but it does make it seem that Trump is constantly losing support. Keep the polls close, then the cheating seems real.

Janet's avatar

Lies. All lies. Polls are fake too.

Peter GL's avatar

Polls would have given a Carter second term and a president Hillary. Polls don’t matter. What really matters, as witnessed in the 2020 election is who counts the votes

Yea, I would bet money there aren't "200 people" and it's the left's attempt to combat the few democrats (now independents) that are endorsing Trump. Just read that this morning. Some think it’s because they were experimenting with mosquito deliveries of viruses. It would be justice to for God to return to him what he wrought.

Like to chase my prayers with these Psalms occasionally 🙏

“Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭26‬:‭27‬ ‭

“And let the net that he hid ensnare him; let him fall into it—to his destruction!”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭35‬:‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Juju's avatar

Really appropriate verses. And one day before God they will say “But we didn’t know! How can you blame us for not knowing?” And He will say “I gave you countless warnings in the Bible - but you chose to not listen, you chose to not believe it was My word.”

Maureen ODH's avatar

Right… “they” are and have been experimenting with mosquitoes… this news segment is recent https://www.sciencenews.org/article/mosquito-genetically-modified-us-florida-keys-pest-control-zika-dengue… but just search YouTube and the internet and years of dropping genetically modified infected with west Nile, Zika and dengue fever returns more than multiple proofs…. Insanity

Amazing how God will pour out His wrath, yet the people will refuse to repent.

Revelation 16:10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony 11 and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

shayne's avatar

While we're talking Revelations... I read Chapter 13 this morning. WOW!!!!

nik's avatar

Gnawed their tongues ! 😳

I always think about Lazarus & the rich man (Luke 16).

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

DenverDad's avatar

And who rose from the dead? Whose resurrection wasn’t believed? Jesus, that’s who.

I saw the Shroud of Turin as a kid with my mom, it was on some kind of tour around the US. I was in awe, it looked exactly like what they said it was. It’s interesting to see that it’s been further validated.

Heidi D.'s avatar

This was something really cool that I saw. It is a virtual Jesus using the 3D information found in the Shroud of Turin. https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/ray-downing?tab=artwork This is also a great site for learning more about the Shroud of Turin. Very exciting : ) https://shroud.com/

CitizenA's avatar

If the Shroud of Turin is truly the shroud of Jesus our Savior, it seems likely that getting an accurate representation of the face of Jesus (from the shroud) would be distorted because at the time of his death his face would have been swollen almost beyond recognition from the torture & beatings he endured. Just a thought. ✝️

One of my favorite verses. Great to remember when we are feeling overwhelmed in this crazy world.

Rob D's avatar

We've *always* had freak hail storms my entire life in my area (I'm 60) and sometimes we've seen HUGE hailstones. It's only now when these weather gods worshipers are all moving to places (trying to escape the hellscapes they created) where we have *always* experienced these hail storms that now it's in the news. Weather has been happening my entire life. None of this is anything new!

Gathering Goateggs's avatar

When I was in high school in central Indiana Dave Letterman was working as the weatherman at the local ABC affiliate. One evening he reported on a typical midwestern summer line of thunderstorms as producing "hail the size of canned hams." (It's widely reported on websites that he was fired for this, but in my memory WTHR never fired him; he quit in 1975 to go to LA.)

Valerie's avatar

Right? Everything weather related is new, or the worst ever, etc. whatever it takes to keep us all scared so we’ll ignore the massive abuses to our liberty.

Gathering Goateggs's avatar

Given the nature of hail damage (the actual phenomenon *melts*, thus the evidence disappears) it will only really generate data if there are insurance claims.

wily_coyote-genius's avatar

Not to self, take pictures for the insurance company, otherwise they may not believe you and deny the claim. They are despicable

Jean Anderson's avatar

My husband's work car is a hail damaged write-off. It was in a car yard that was hit by a hailstorm and the roof is covered with dimples. You'd never notice if you didn't know to look, but the insurance company wrote it off and it was sold off cheap. Pretty good car, pretty good price.

Gathering Goateggs's avatar

Yeah — the point is that if all that’s in the target area is old pickup trucks and tin-roofed turn out sheds, no one’s going to file a claim. It’s when the coasties move in with their BMWs and Sprinter vans that someone’s going to care if it hailed. One exception — hail damage to small aircraft. A lot of insurance write-offs, when the damage is purely cosmetic.

Sara A's avatar

Hail has always been around, but don’t dismiss the manmade weather modification currently taking place. 30 states allow for weather modification. It is experimental and has caused flooding and other unintended calamities. NOAA has a database where these activities are logged (excluding military programs). It’s time people start investigating this. WEF in Colorado manipulating the weather should be a red flag.

Agreed: We've always had freakishly large hail. I was caught out in a storm in 1979 on the Colorado State U campus, luckily able to be next to a building wall that protected me from hundreds of tennis ball to grapefruit sized hail falling all around.

Robin Greer's avatar

I wonder if in the 1700's - 1800's the hailstorms were worse as the homes were built with shutters that actually SHUT to protect the windows or was this just because the glass was so fragile. I know that Florida has hurricane shutters. I've only seen one modern house (not in Florida) built with outside window shutters.

Fla Mom's avatar

And as Jeff said, that "study" was just modeling based on simulations, all based on their own assumptions. What could be inaccurate, lol?

"Hawaiian democrat and US Army reserve officer Tulsi Gabbard"

That's Lt. Colonel Gabbard. More than a couple of steps above sergeant. She also did a tour of duty in Iraq (12 months, 2004). Because of that deployment, she chose not to campaign for reelection to her seat in the state legislature. Her second tour was in Kuwait (2008-2009). On July 4, 2021, Gabbard was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, while deployed to the Horn of Africa. She was a Civil Affairs officer in support of a Special Operations mission.
