Disney has lost our family for the foreseeable future. No more trips to the Magic Kingdom and no more Disney + on the TV. I donated our Mickey shirts to the goodwill last year. Adios!

Go Gina Carano!!! 💪🏻 She should hold her thumb on that law suit and push harder!!! And for goodness sake DO. NOT. SETTLE. We want discovery phase. WE WANT THE TRUTH FINALLY. If there is anyone I’m routing for besides the American people who are awake, alert and intelligent to celebrate taking this country back…it’s HER! She needs to own disney when she’s done! She needs to chew them up and spit them out. I don’t usually route for the demise of people but that ENTITY needs to be thrown into the trash can and never ever see the light of day again.

Absolutely, I plead with her on X all the time to NOT settle so that the world may learn.

That’s all well and good, and she may do that.

OTOH, the firing from Disney crushed her career, blackballing her from virtual any movie or tv roles, save for the low budget affair funded by Shapiro’s group. As painfully admitted by Carano herself in an interview, Musk’s funding of the lawsuit was a miracle for her, as Disney’s ability to lawfare is legendary. Case in point, a year from now for a trial! Moreover, a Carano win will be met with an immediate appeal which puts any substantial cash for her years away.

I wouldn’t blame her a bit for taking a huge settlement. Still a massive black eye for Disney on top of strings of box office flops, falling subscribers and inner turmoil in the executive suite. Good to remember money talks, bullsh*t walks. When board members and the large shareholders like Steve Jobs widow see their fortune evaporating, action will be taken at the top.

I would soooo much rather spend money going to the Ark encounter and creation museum, then a cent on Disney.

The Ark Encounter is wonderful, our family has visited twice so far! And since you’re right there at the Ark encounter, about 20 minutes away is the Kentucky Horse Park which if you like horses is great. My kids enjoyed both the Ark and Horse Park and even got to go horseback riding for a fairly decent price.

Awesome. My friend said they stayed at a nearby hotel that had a shuttle. So they did not have to drive much. The creation museum was a little further away.

We went to the Creation Museum in the morning and the Ark Encounter in the afternoon. It was just my husband & I. If you have young kids… you need a whole day to see the Ark- which also has a unique zoo, merry go round included in admission and a few other items of interest. I wish we had a whole day at the museum to read all the display descriptions & attend more of the presenters. So well done!! The museum & Ark are about 45 minutes drive from each other. So worthy of visiting.

This! Hubs and I went to Gettysburg last year, and did a self guided tour so we could take our dog and walk around at our leisure. Fun part, caught up with the bus tour groups and got the guided tour presentation a few times, for free!

How many days do you need to see it all? For the Ark? We are looking at going and not sure how big it is and if we can do it in a day or if we need more time???

Take your kids camping or hiking. Go to family camps instead of spending time and money that supports such a despicable organization. Those are much better ways to enjoy family time.

Even if Disney was not the despicable organization that it is, kids will be better off longterm if they spend family time outdoors, exercizing, enjoying God's creation, and letting their imaginations run free.

We went once and it was underwhelming. Hot, long lines, prices were high, (water bottles were $3 and this was the late 90's) none of the rides were anything more special than the theme park in our own town. Oh they were excited about meeting and getting their picture taken with some of the characters for about 5 min, but when we got back they were mostly telling their friends about the alligator park we went to on a different day.

We went a long time ago, just my mom, my little sister and I, while my dad was at a business meeting. I thought it was okay but I had zero desire to go back. Just didn’t see the appeal. But I’m not much for amusement parks anyway.

I used to love them, especially roller coasters. But by the time I hit mid 40's a lot of rides ended up making me nauseous, especially any of the spinning ones, so it's not worth the price of admission for me anymore. But reminds me of a funny story. My son's orchestra class in 7th grade got rewarded for placing in a state music contest and had a day at the local amusement park. I went as one of the chaperones, was sitting on the bus a few rows back from my son when this cute girl comes up to him and croons "Luuuuke, I'm scared of roller coasters, will you ride with me?" He gets all puffed up and says, sure, roller coasters are my favorite. He had NEVER ridden a roller coaster when he was with us, hubby and I took turns sitting out the ride as he was afraid and would either refuse, or head out the 'chicken exit' every time, whereas my daughter was game for anything. I was sitting on that bus laughing my butt off but didn't rat him out. He ended up riding roller coasters all day that day,

We went there thirty years ago. We were reprimanded by a smiling employee for not doing as we were told because we let someone else take our seats for “It’s a Small World” ride, in order to get in the front seat for the next ride. When the ride was over, the pissed off “smiling” employee met us on the exit side to reiterate that we held up the line.

I read her court docs a couple months ago. I think I have a link. I’ll post it below. It is the FUNNIEST opening. You have to read the comical introduction on page 2, and while long, the rest of the factual accusations starting on page 5 ends up being a really fast read through the next 30-some pages, with jaw-dropping exposure. I boycotted Disney this summer and cannot abide by them now.

Without Musk, she never would have been able to afford to fight this. Yet stuff like this happens to so many Americans every day and none of us can afford to fight it. I’m so happy he is helping her!

Yet so many people, including many Christians, are simply oblivious to Disney's antiChristian and anticonservative policies and just blithely continue taking their little ones there.... only to be rudely shocked. The Make-a-Wish Foundation is one of the big offenders that continues to "gift" trips to Disney World to terminally ill or badly disabled children and their families. The Foundation must be on the receiving end of a hug pot of gold from the Mouse for this.

I’m appalled at several family friends of over 30 years who are conservative, Jesus loving people who are awake….and yet cannot seem to break off of being Disney fanatics. I’ve showed them multiple proofs of their agenda and they agree and say they know. But. But. But. Disney is “our thing”. In fact they are already making plans for next year to go to Disney. I just can’t. I don’t get it. I love them a lot. I am struggling to respect them.

Most of the people I know who go to Disney these days are adults with no children, which I find very odd. It’s not that they just go there, they go multiple times a year and walk around in Disney garb with Mickey Mouse ears, like they’re six years old.

I wish more parents would stand up and speak up. I have a sign on the back of my van that's been there for several months now and says "BOYCOTT Disney"

Initially, I wanted our Christian High School to take notice, as it read: "BOYCOTT Grad Nite @ Disney" but grad night passed so I modified my sign.

I get so many thumbs up while driving, or honks on the freeway. I've been asked at a traffic light to explain the sign, and my husband has had several conversations of how "it used to be"

My kids think it's time to change the sign, but I'm ok with it....

I'm still baffled that our "Christian" school's principal accused me of wanting the extra attention... AND will continue to send our high school seniors to Disneyland for grad night.

You're maybe 20 yrs late. It was obvious then they were salting their movies with sexual images however subtle. Not referring to you: Parents buying Disney et al vids and camping their children in front of TV because they're too self absorbed to include them in their daily lives are THE problem.
