I 100% agree with you. Too many people acted on their fears instead of using their brain for critical thinking. I never went along with it and I only had one store tell me to leave. I never returned and I never will. I only had 1 person confront me in a store and I went off on her. She knew nothing about me. I hate being that way but it is what it is.
I was kicked out of one grocery store, but I am in Los Angeles area. There was a while where I couldn’t go to restaurants with a vax card, so I didn’t go. This was enforced by LA County “Health” Dept. There were a few establishments that bucked the system at the peril of having their business licenses revoked, and their power and water shut off. We truly were in a totalitarian regime.
Yes, I remember seeing all of this online. That's insane and it's even hard to fathom this happened in the US. That wouldn't have gone over well here in TX. I do remember the ones who were standing up and I they earned my respect. Anyone who would give up liberties for safety doesn't deserve neither.
Especially the fire fighters and other first responders. If they had stood together and stuck up for their unjabbed coworkers the mayors and governors would almost assuredly have backed down. Unfortunately we will never know.
💯 We did have some who stood up and refused, but not enough. Many lost their jobs. There were a lot of police officers and sheriff deputies who refused and lost their jobs. Then the departments wondered why they didn’t have enough and no one wanted to work for them. 🙄
The Seattle Police Department is so short staffed it has created a field day for the criminals. The city council and mayor have created such a toxic atmosphere that, even though they have started funding and looking to hire, no one is stepping up to join the ranks. Even if they do the new training requirements mean they won't be deployable for months to years.
The fire fighters and medics are back filling but with the homeless camp fires, overdoses, vaxxidents, assault victims, and sudden medical issues they are still at the breaking point. Good job, everyone! This is why we can't have nice things.
Order followers are the worst. When you know you're doing something wrong, you don't do it. There are a lot of cowards out there.
If all of the people who wore masks or took the shots had refused, this would have ended before it began.

Our policies and laws are what is causing the problems here.
Been saying this for quite some time! Way too many cowards.
