Russia now has impressive gold reserves, a stable central bank which does not 'farm' its people. The Federation does not war against its own people like whatever it is that runs the alleged US government. The Russian Orthodox church is back and Christian moral precepts govern the country. Family businesses are promoted. Total sovereign debt is 19.99 percent of GDP. Russians and Russian media is not censored like us in the United States. Russia exports commodities including food stuffs to the world. And Russians are not going to go cold and hungry when we do. Compare this with the countries of the collective West and bluntly, there is no comparison.
No place is perfect. Some will complain that Russia does not allow dissent. It is better said that Russia does not tolerate subversives, infiltrators who want to take the Russian state down, just as has happened with the United States throughout my whole life.
Two things the Woke Globalist power hate about Russia is that Russia is a Christian power and that Russia did not and will not submit to rule by 'Globalism'. That is, Christian values over Marxist 'values' ... and a nationalist identity and not the forever festering rancor of 'identity politics' (really a reincarnation of Maoism).
. They had to keep Trump and Russia apart. Their "rational nationalism" was a death blow to their One World tyrannical dreams. Your comment well explains the deeper reason for the Trump Russia Russia Russia story.
Yes, you say it well. Russia not with The Program (meaning not willing to give up their national identity for a broken mirror (like the shatter peoples of the west ... all but Hungary). And not willing to be a subservient slave province of some murky Invisible Hand.
Back in 2016 and 2017, I didn't get it. Back then I thought Russia was a natural trading partner for the West, and oddly so had Putin at some time before then. And I wondered why Hilary and the NeoCons were so in a rage against Russia, Russia, Russia ... and hell bent on stirring up the Russian Hate Pot. I gradually figured it out. And if you will, just think Afghanistan, the Middle East, the Balkans and NATO moving eastward as one giant squeezing encirclement of the Russian land mass. If you look at the enclosing encirclement and the all the wars, it is clear that taking down Russia was 'their' plan all along at least ever since the Soviet collapse in the 1990's. Also, and in a sense, this is a reincarnation of Uncle Adolf's plan of conquest, but on a far grander, far more ambitious scale. Meanwhile the United States continues to rot all for the sake of a mad dream which upon waking will end in tears and the gnashing of teeth.

Great insight David. I hadn't really put that together before.
Wow...well said. I read this after posting my most recent comment on the same subject matter. Must be something in the ether.
