He has understanding of God, and to some degree he fears God. My view… he hasn’t totally committed himself to Jesus… another words, he hasn’t kissed the Son, yet. Psalm 2.

He is a little too pragmatic, he needs to walk in more principle.

God can still use him, as He used King Cyrus. As He used Baalim, as He used others. Trump had two old aunts who prayed for him. Those two ladies prayed for 25 years for revival in Scotland.

Twenty-five years!!! And one day grown men were kneeling in public, repenting.

In my opinion, it’s on us, God’s people.

Because the Word says:

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

His people.

That’s us.

"If...If...If..." Really big "If's" for humanity to satisfy first.

He isn’t asking for all of humanity to repent, He knows that would not be realistic. He is only asking for HIS people, those who are called by His Name, to repent , seek His Face and turn from THEIR wicked ways .

If there had been 10 righteous people in Sodom , He would have spared that city. There weren’t even 10.

Sad, isn’t it,

There weren't even 4 righteous people as Lot's wife looked back at Sodom & Gomorrah rebelling against God's explicit command through the "angels" sent to rescue Lot and his family and all other "righteous" souls.

Yes - apparently a "tall order" even for HIS people - let alone everyone else.

Apparently it is. I have repented, and do so on a daily basis. But so many have been fooled into thinking they have to repent to a man in a collar. There is no mediator between God and man except through Yeshua.

I repent for myself, and for my nation . Daily.

That's not what Jesus said at Mt. 16:18-19, when He gave Peter (and the Apostles) the "power to bind and loose sins."

And, eventually, Jehovah used King Nebuchadnezzar of ancient Babylon--after he lost his kingdom and was living as a WILD ANIMAL EATING GRASS FOR FOOD.

Yeah, because we all know humility is one of Trump's greatest attributes.

Ain't happening.

IMO this makes it even more tricky to judge accurately. I think we all struggle with our own particular sins, and if pride is one of Trump's then it's not as if that would magically go away the minute he genuinely recognized and repented of it. I'm not confident to make any judgement on his relationship with Christ; saved, unsaved, or saved-but-not-taking-it-quite-as-seriously-as-he-should, who knows.

Who are you to judge? “Judge not, lest you be judged.”

We are supposed to judge. Rightly.

You’re taking it out of context.

We CAN judge that, according to the Word, fornication is sin…..that includes adultery, homosexuality, transgenderism……we CAN judge. As long as we judge rightly.

Thumbs up, and to expand on that a little - we SHOULD judge, carefully, wisely, and lovingly -- and we should welcome loving judgements on ourselves in order to see what we need to change. What we should NOT do is judge someone else with an attitude of superiority as if it makes them less than us. We are all saved by grace out of our imperfection.

I would further add that we should not judge against someone’s sin if we are doing the same thing that they are. Therefore, it may be wise to check our own humility before we judge Trump‘s. I know for a fact, he is frequently in contact with my pastor Dr. Robert Jeffrey at First baptist Dallas.

Read the verses afterwards. I am judging and I will be judged to the degree I judge. That being said, I support Trump and I get a lot of flak for it.

Your view doesn’t matter. God sees each person’s heart and He is the judge, John. Pride is sinful too and you seem very prideful.
