I am glad my daughter can have a professional job, get a loan (only if needed), and even vote and not be required to subsume herself to an ill-made choice of male headship. Of course Feminists (Anti-Patriarchists) strive to assert dominance and maternalistic control of their cult followers and the rest of society too. If men can't value and care for women then naturally women must throw off constraints and be empowered as individuals created in God's image and granted Natural Rights. And so they must. The full rights and humanity of a woman shall not be diminished, yet the perverted justice emanating from modern Feminism is sick to behold as well the negative impacts upon national policy and societal debasement in the name of equality and progress and payback for 5000 years of perceived oppression and the adverse impacts of pregnancy and child-bearing.

Thanks for providing a little nuance.

Yeah, it's totally unpopular on this stack to be partially for feminism. There was a time when women could not have credit cards (or could, so long a a man co-signed--gee, sound like those women who can only exit the house if a man is with her in Arab countries much?), could not sue for sexual harassment, couldn't get health insurance at same rates as dudes, could get fired for being pregnant, could not serve on juries.

Sure, the "you can have it all" sales pitch was only ever a sales pitch, and a crazy-making one at that, and yes, the idea that women can perform equally to men in arenas involving physical strength is hogwash (and I used to do manual labor alongside dudes so I can say this!)--BUT. I read a lot of comments here that are just blanket rejections of feminism, and I see where the pendulum is going to swing and it doesn't look any healthier, if people are going to forget that feminism brought some benefits we now take for granted.

Though there are plenty now arguing that women should NOT vote, so maybe C&C readers'll catch up to that one and start arguing for it, too.

Payback for years of....the adverse impacts of pregnancy and child-bearing? I guess you are meaning the way feminism thinks?... Which is they hate women.

Yes, hatred of God and Nature and the possible side effects upon their bodies as a result of sexual encounters with men. Self-focused, despising unwanted and unplanned obligation or duty or inconvenience. Loathing and pitying of those who do not share in their views.
