While the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them. Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.

— Luke 4:40-41 NAS

Remember in the Bible, Jesus instructed his disciples to prepare their hearts and minds by focusing on His Word and Holy Spirit before trying to cast out demons from afflicted souls. I also recall when Christ was being tempted of Lucifer in the desert for 40 days and nights (without eating) he always responded by QUOTING SCRIPTURE. So even the Only Begotten Son of Jehovah Jireh must 'prepare' to meet and DEFEAT the "enemy of our souls"!!

There is a young man who has a YT channel entitled "Call Me Sam." He became a Christian and "detransitioned" after decades. What he went through as a child which led him to that lifestyle and how he is now is something to hear. He isn't posting everyday, but trying to be a voice for those being lied to and deceived.

People thought that way too when it was just about "let us love whoever we want in the privacy of our homes." How did that turn out? Remember this is to continue the brainwashing of our children. These kids will be adults some day. Back in 2000 - 2001, I worked with children 10-12. I remembered telling a friend "we are in for a very bad time when these kids become adults." Those same kids = the Millenials we see today. We haven't seen anything yet. Things are going to grow much, much worse. The only literal saving grace is Jesus Christ. Now is the time to repent of your sins, place your faith in Jesus Christ and become a Christian. Time is short. There will be a time where your choice will be sealed and you won't be able to change it.

Karl Marx famously said that religion is the "opiate of the masses". I believe that when you remove religion from society the masses turn to opiates. The U.S. deaths from opiates is into six figures annually with many times more lives wrecked. Perhaps acknowledging and returning to God and letting Him "heal our land" is a better plan.

What makes people think that demon possession has gone away? "Oh, that's just Bible stuff" people say. Ummm NO. It has just multiplied with the population of the earth and the willingness to stand for nothing and believe in nothing. Possession occurs when the void inside is open for the taking and God is not invited in. Messing around with the occult and everything it brings minus a spiritual center=possession. Just have a look around. It is sick. But, God....

They report on the happenings in the world and we can discern for ourselves. It is good news about the revival that is here. As for her posturing about a millenial kingdom, I do not read the comment section. I take God's Word about everything and hold on in prayer. If every pastor would show the Metaxis film Letter To The American Church & have a conversation about being bold believers rather than weak, this election would be a no brainer. Pastors & their flocks sat silently in Germany - what could never happen did.

Oh, wait, I forgot the continual crimes in the Vatican Bank that holds BILLIONS for the “help the poor” apostate church. I always love when the cult members have nothing else to say except “where do you read your scripture.”

How do you reconcile the 2nd commandment? Oh, wait. The apostate church removed it and split the 10th in 2 to still make what they tell you 10. What about Matthew 23:9? I’ll let you take a minute to look that up unless the apostate church removed it. How about when extra sentences are added to the Lord’s Prayer when you recite it at Mass? Jesus has only come to Earth once and that was at his birth. He isn’t brought down from heaven at each Eucharist. Sorry.

What about in the apostate catechism where Muslims and Christians are told they worship the same God? And in case you don’t believe me, look up catechism #841. “ 841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

I sadly can spot a catholic from feet away. They can’t quote actual Scripture to back up their beliefs and instead fall back on other literature to form their beliefs. Very sad. To aid in opening your eyes, look up Mike Gendron.

Not necessarily the 501-C3. As one respected Christian talk show host said once "the American church today (sadly it has gone global) cares about is nickels and noses." Robert Schuller, Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, et al followed the business practices of Peter Drucker which how we got the "think of your church members as your customers." I came along in church music through all that crap and said then "this is going to cause havoc in the Church" along with all the seeker sensitive drivel. Want to know how Millenials were guided to their mindset today? Churches began to dumb down Sunday School ("asking people to bring their Bible might make someone feel bad who doesn't have one." - uh, give them one as we always have.) This is a sore spot for me because I've watched this havoc unfold starting in the early 1990's (Schuller goes back farther - this list includes Norman Vincent Peele.) We are just reaping the whirlwind for those seeds planted by those men long ago. The plandemic helped to seal the church's fate. We already have one used to be large church in town. It is going to keep happening. People found three things to do with their time after the trial of martial law: (1) worship at the altar of sports, (2) (supposedly) watching services online - no they aren't and (3) went to another church. Most people have done #1.

Now we have entered The Emperor Has No Clothes age. I think you're right. This story says that Nixon imposed price controls because of the spike in prices from the decreased production coordinated by OPEC. But then:

"By the Iranian oil crisis in 1979, the controls had grown unsustainable as oil prices escalated in global markets. With lines forming once again and fistfights breaking out at the pump, President Carter quickly waived most of the controls on oil and gas prices to make more fuel available. The resulting sharp price increases ushered in a new nightmare: double-digit inflation, as businesses quickly passed on their higher fuel costs and workers’ unions demanded cost- of-living increases to keep pace with higher prices. The surge in inflation put the Federal Reserve in crisis mode. It ordered its largest-ever increase in interest rates in October 1979, plunging the economy into a deep recession."

Good times, good times.

Donna in MO,

Our society is much more depraved now than it was in the 70’s when Carter was president. Yes, some things improved and others devolved. We are still in a downward trajectory. I think we can fix some of the problems currently facing us. However, that depends much upon how our current elections play out. Trump was the first to support trans men competing against women in the Miss Universe pageant. Hopefully, he will keep his campaign promises to women now. Kamala will do her best to destroy whatever is left of traditional American values if she wins through a fraudulent election.

Sadly, we will never see a country again with traditional American values being the mainstay. I think we’ve lost something (traditional family and societal values ) and we will never get it completely back. Do you think shows like Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best, My Three Sons etc would ever be top tier shows if they came out today? How many women will happily be stay at home moms?

Can we get schools back to where teaching children subjects like math, science and reading are more important than promoting an agenda? Children aren’t even taught or required to say the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the Star Spangled Banner anymore. They’re not taught to value America and her accomplishments.

From what I saw of Carter at his wife, Rosalyn’s funeral, he’s not cognitive enough o know who’s running, let alone claim he wants to vote for Kamala.

I was a newly minted married lady during his tenure. I truly liked him for his farming background, and his unabashed Christianity, at a time when we were considered a Christian Nation, but didn’t talk about it. He had a very southern family, slightly off beat, in a time when DC was a club of east coast elites and west coast mafia. He appealed to the common people and his seeming sweetness and charming wife and family took a man no one heard of over the top. Much like DJT with a different set of backers, he got the common guy. I voted for him and that was the first and last Dem I ever voted for.

Was it all a front to take America down a now familiar road, or was Carter allowed to win, only to be pushed aside once in office. He was an outsider, who knew governorship and business, but nothing of the snakepit of DC. Perhaps, I am wrong, but he was caught off guard by what happened to him behind the walls of the White House, and the betrayal in the halls of Congress. He stayed a good soldier, but hated the Clintons and Obama’s.

Was he the worst president? Not by a long shot, but he did not have the hutzpah to battle down those in Washington.

If your pastor is pretending all of this is normal, either out of ignorance or fear of upsetting people, then you really need to be asking yourself if you are at the right church. It's a very sad commentary that much of the church is complicit in this.

She pointed out portions of the display that I had not seen (blood running down the walls on either side of the headless Marie spectacle?) and tied in the pre-programming imagery from other such “ceremonies” (and these are Satanic rituals, no matter what they call them). For example, the opening ceremony in London 2012 included Voldemort, Jack the Ripper, and children trapped in hospital beds and given forced injections by diabolical doctors. Sound familiar? It has nothing to do with celebration of the Olympic spirit and everything to do with their Luciferianism on full display.

I’ve read a lot of commentary from other pastors online, not mine, that say we should show love, not hate, as Jesus would have. That those performers would have been welcome at Jesus’ table, that he didn’t turn away sinners but welcomed them and that we as a Christian body should do the same. I’m conflicted because it was a reprehensible performance and mockery of the last supper and yet I also believe we are called to love the person, hate the sin.

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

Jesus did not unconditionally welcome people reveling in sin to His table. He welcomed sinners but told them in no uncertain terms "go and sin no more". He told them they must repent. He told people to come as they are, but that they *must* change. The touchy, feely Jesus isn't the Jesus of the Gospels.

Read how Jesus spoke to the Pharisees that used treachery to attack Him. He didn't show them love and mercy but called them "Sons of Satan" and vipers. These vile people hated Him, hated His Word, and mocked Him, and Jesus held nothing back in calling them out. How are these "performers" different?

The Olympic opening ceremony flaunted hedonistic transsexual behavior, had one "performer" with his genitals exposed (right next to a child), and culminated in mocking the Last Supper. The "Jesus" figure was an obese Jewish atheist lesbian who openly stated the intent was to mock it. It was an abomination deliberately intended to mock God.

The Bible tells us in no uncertain terms we are to call out sin. There is nothing in the Bible that ever says we must be "nice" to people and not call out their sin because it might upset them. The Bible says we are to be "kind" to people not "nice", and when someone is destroying their life through sin the kind thing is to tell them the truth.

Showing love does not mean we ignore sin and hope it goes away. It does not mean we let people treat us like doormats. Turning the other cheek is a lesson in de-escalation, it doesn't mean an abused wife that calls herself a Christian has to put up with it. That's not showing love.

Showing love often means unpleasant action, something these feminized pastors doesn't seem willing to admit. It's not "love" to give a drunk a drink, even if that seems like the nice and non-confrontational thing to do. Showing love means telling the drunk no, and often letting him suffer the consequences of his action.

Yes we should pray for these people. Yes we should be kind to them if given the opportunity in love. But no, they don't get a free pass for their behavior, and to those of who have studied the Bible this is eminently clear.

We have a real problem with pastors that pick and choose pleasant-sounding passages from the Bible, and don't teach the whole counsel of God.

Thank you for such a complete analysis and one I wholeheartedly agree with. If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

From gotquestions.org

In Ezekiel 22:30 the Lord says, “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” The word picture painted in this verse is that of a wall with a hole or a gap in it. A wall was the best means of protection in ancient times. A breach in the wall would let the enemy through. If there was a breach in the wall, defenders would have to swarm to that location and hold the breach. The gap would need to be repaired as soon as possible. If a breach was left unattended or unrepaired, the city would fall.

How can we stand in the gap today?

Is anyone surprised in the least that this was negotiated and signed off by a woman? Anyone? The feminization of society continues and it's been a disaster. Women no longer desire to have children and instead their maternal instinct has been rewired to have empathy for every undeserving dirtbag that comes down the pike. It's the caricature of the foolish mother telling the judge that her murderer son "is really a good boy" personified, but now extended to every thug that comes along.

This is what feminism has wrought, a world where feelings, empathy, and an obsession with safety overrules all common sense. I thank God there are some women out there that didn't buy into this lie.

Wait just a cotton-pickin minute! Did I miss something? I thought Bin Laden was the mastermind and our hit team - uh - SEAL team, caught him, executed him and dumped him out of the helicopter over the sea - what the media calls a "burial at sea" - so he wouldn't have to face trial. Why are they trying to breath life back into the corpse of the 9/11 psyops now? How long has it been since that event?

If no one else is going to say it, I am. Why are we talking about the psyops lie of a bunch of Arabs with box cutters taking control of some airplanes and using them to bring down all those buildings on 9/11 AS IF IT IS REAL? Come on. It's an established engineering fact that planes could not have brought down those building. But furthermore, there were NO airplanes. But you saw it on TV, right? All I'm going to say, go check the evidence yourself. It's not that hard. 9/11 was and is a deep state/military industrial psyops. I don't understand why we are still talking about this as if that fantastical lie is actually reality? Really?

Look, forget all of the above and just consider the destruction of the buildings themselves. I'll even give you the link. Here's my previous comment with the link...................................

https://unbekoming.substack.com/p/dustification

When I looked at that first picture of the Towers disintegrating, I had to ask myself if I have ever seen a demolition of a building with that effect. No... impossible. My first thought was of a small nuclear bomb at the base of the buildings producing that. But apparently, the base and the infrastructure underneath the buildings were relatively undisturbed. Secondly, while there was much evidence of "burning", there was NO EVIDENCE of heat connected with a lot of the "burning". What?! Apparently, objects like ceramic toilets and marble fascia on nearby buildings were completely vaporized into non-existence but paper objects were not burned at all. (I think physics might have a clue about this.) Furthermore, the sheer mass of the buildings simply vanished into thin air. What was left on the ground after the event could not even begin to equate to the mass of these buildings.

"After eliminating all plausible explanations, whatever remains, however implausible, is the truth." As far as I can tell, nothing plausible explains how this happened. The implausible explanation is that a "novel", unknown energy source that burns without producing heat was used to destroy the buildings. The rabbit trail leads to something called The Hutchison Effect which has always been disregarded as a "paranormal" phenomenon which is simply a scientific term for ridiculing something that can't be explained by the approved scientific paradigm. Among other things, the HE causes catastrophic fracture of metals. Now stay with me. This leads back to Nikola Tesla and his experiments. I don't understand any of this but apparently this rabbit trail also leads back to a part of quantum field theory called the Casimir Effect which has been described as "a force from nothing."............................................

Seriously folks, are we now going to say Lee Harvey Oswald was solely responsible for the murder of one of the best POTUS ever or that that kid at Butler was the sole shooter at DJP or that the bio-weapon is actually a real vaccine that has saved MILLIONS of lives?

Are we really going to CONTINUE to support one of the most diabolical PSYOPS of all time by resurrecting the narrative of 9/11? Just asking.

Politico Phil, THANK YOU!!! I was shocked at the lack of comments about the patsy Sheik Mohammed. If people really bothered to investigate the truth, they would see how utterly absurd the MSM narrative is about 9/11 and how completely impossible it is to have been carried out the way it was related in the media. Most shocking of all is that families of the victims just go along with it. There is a laziness about most Americans when it comes to finding out the truth and standing up for it. Most just go along with what they are told or don't want to know. And that, folks, is why we are in the state we are in here in the USA.

A mass hallucination was promoted and everyone had confirmation because everyone could say they saw it on the TV box. Actual witnesses also saw people who were running from the collapsing towers who simply disintegrated and vanished into thin air right in front of them.

But aside from witnesses, actual engineering fact says there is no way an aluminum airplane and jet fuel could produce what happened to those buildings. And remember, wasn't just the two Twin Towers. There is Building 7 and the Pentagon which no jet hit and the sole video evidence shows a missile hitting the Pentagon.

It's all BS and we have to quit falling for it.

Everyone was told that they saw planes hit the buildings by 'witnesses'

that were all media plants. No one saw any actual aircraft hit any buildings,

because it is impossible. The videos were all CGI. It is impossible for an aircraft to completely disappear into the side of a steel framed building like it was flying into a cloud.

It is impossible that there could be four successful hijackings on the same

morning in the US. None of the alleged 'hijacked' planes squawked the four digit

emergency code on their transceivers. There is no evidence of any 'hijackers' passing through airports or boarding their respective flights.

It is impossible to have hijacked planes flying wildly off course for hours undetected in U.S. airspace.

It is impossible that a hijacker could operate an airliner, navigate it across hundreds of miles, and hit a specific target dead on.

The Mainstream narrative on 9/11 is a fabrication.

They do not have three men in custody still awaiting trial after all of

this time. There was never any real investigation, and no one has been

The carnage was a controlled demolition of 7 buildings,

all within the WTC complex, while no building without a WTC prefix

The WTC towers were not structurally compromised and their collapse in near free fall defies the laws of physics absent a controlled demolition of some type.

I obviously tend to agree though no one can predict the future, only recognize the patterns of history. But there is this caveat that I keep coming back to. Never has Marxism attempted to take over a populace as heavily armed and geographically dispersed as Americans are (outside the big cities). The backbone of America that lies out in the hinterland is quietly observing what is happening and they know in their soul that a watershed is coming and are getting ready and steeling their souls for that day. The Marxists are afraid of the American people - that's why they are trying to kill us in our "sleep" - and their fear will provoke them to make unwise choices. At some point, the immovable object will collide with the irresistible force and that can only result in the release of pent up energy which will not be pleasant. This is the conflict between the Marxists (the immovable object) that have taken control of the levers of gov't power and the backbone of the American people such as MAGA who, as the irresistible force, will not accept Marxist rule. We must be prepared for what this means.

All the back windows were dusty with ash, and the window sills had an inch of debris.

I was at work when 9/11 happened. We had a TV in the conference room of the Navy laboratory to keep abreast of the news. Everyone rushed to the conference room and we all watched the event unfold. After the first tower smoked for awhile, apparently a second plane hit the second tower. We were all glued to the TV watching the whole thing as we saw people jumping out of the upper floors to get away from the fire but I think I was the only one in the room who said to himself, "Something is not right here." When I heard one of our more outstanding supervisors loudly exclaim, "Nuke them all!", I knew exactly where this would lead us... and I doubted what my lying eyes were telling me all the more.

After I retired, the plandemic happened and the Navy pressured and harassed everyone on base to get The Shot and the boosters. The supervisor who had wanted to "Nuke them all" who was younger than me took the shot and all the boosters. Shortly after, he was diagnosed during a routine checkup with cancer. The docs said they caught it early. TWO WEEKS later the cancer had spread to nearly every organ and bone in his body and died. Two weeks from diagnosis to death. And that was before the term "Turbo Cancer" was INVENTED as a thing. In the end, out of the thousands that worked on base, only twenty people refused to submit to the shot. My buddy, who still works there, was one who said, "Hell no!" No one talks about it, but the base is losing personnel to sudden death and illness at a horrendous rate and there are very few personnel to back-fill the positions. This includes the base Captain whose tour was indefinitely extended because the Navy has no officers to rotate into the position which is only suppose to be for 2 year tours. He is suffering eye complications from the shot and is now about to retire himself. He is fed up and can't wait to get out.

And I'd say these current examples are even weaker. What Vance said was true: our country is ideologically run by screechy, preachy, self-righteous, finger-wagging liberal women who seem to hate children (even their own). And what Trump said was true: Kamala wasn't "black" until the Party needed her to be black. She's a rank opportunist. Of course Feminists (Anti-Patriarchists) strive to assert dominance and maternalistic control of their cult followers and the rest of society too. If men can't value and care for women then naturally women must throw off constraints and be empowered as individuals created in God's image and granted Natural Rights. And so they must. The full rights and humanity of a woman shall not be diminished, yet the perverted justice emanating from modern Feminism is sick to behold as well the negative impacts upon national policy and societal debasement in the name of equality and progress and payback for 5000 years of perceived oppression and the adverse impacts of pregnancy and child-bearing.

Yeah, it's totally unpopular on this stack to be partially for feminism. There was a time when women could not have credit cards (or could, so long a a man co-signed--gee, sound like those women who can only exit the house if a man is with her in Arab countries much?), could not sue for sexual harassment, couldn't get health insurance at same rates as dudes, could get fired for being pregnant, could not serve on juries.

Sure, the "you can have it all" sales pitch was only ever a sales pitch, and a crazy-making one at that, and yes, the idea that women can perform equally to men in arenas involving physical strength is hogwash (and I used to do manual labor alongside dudes so I can say this!)--BUT. I read a lot of comments here that are just blanket rejections of feminism, and I see where the pendulum is going to swing and it doesn't look any healthier, if people are going to forget that feminism brought some benefits we now take for granted.

Though there are plenty now arguing that women should NOT vote, so maybe C&C readers'll catch up to that one and start arguing for it, too.

If women are running the world-are they being used to bring in the thoughts of the lower world?

I like that magnet/root analogy. Don't know if this is related or not. But, I've long felt that teams/orgs that are run by women are more cautious, less risk-taking, and therefore less innovative and more bureaucratic. The ones run by men (traditional masculine men, not liberal betas) tend to be more assertive, more risk-taking, and innovate more. They crack more eggs. Male led teams/orgs IME also tend to have more direct communication, while the ones led by women tend to "talk around" the issues. E.g., if you are on the outs in a male team/org, you'll know it; in a female team/org, you'll have to figure it out and you'll probably get knifed in the back at some point.

In our risk-averse culture (driven also by women taking over ALL the educational, medical, and media institutions), it's only natural that women would eventually be more valued in the corporate world as well. Risk is bad. Offend no one. Hurt nothing. Prioritize "health," "safety," etc. But, we're now seeing the only possible outcome of that course - lack of innovation, stagnation, system collapse, and the offending of nearly everyone in an attempt to offend no one. We're seeing companies that have stopped caring about their customers b/c they are so focused on not offending anyone who is not their customer. Like a mother who can't side with her own children for fear of offending the neighbors' kids. To use their word: it's weird.

I think the reality is - in our politics, culture, and corporate world - we have an AWFULs problem. It's certainly not all women, but the affluent, white, female, urban, liberal variety is systematically destroying the country at all levels. The women who say things like "I'm a world citizen." They are wildly ignorant of all history due to our rancid education system. (Not that liberal men are all that impressive - but they're mostly just beta male cucks supporting the AWFUL's agenda. Just watch a few clips of Kacklin's Zoom calls among white male supporters. It'll make you puke.)

IMO, the main error the AWFULs have made is equating love/caring with pity/enablement. Not only are they not equivalent feelings, they are opposites. No human being should ever pity another human being. It's a sign of massive disrespect and an indication that the one feeling pity sees themselves as superior to the other, as a different class of being. If they actually loved or cared for all the various "underrepresented" and "marginalized" people they claim exist, their preferred policy prescriptions would be 180-degrees opposite of what they currently are. This applies to almost every insane idea we see taking over workplaces and our culture.

(FWIW, IMO, and somewhat related...this is also where liberals get Jesus wrong WRT his ideas around "love." He wasn't saying enable and abet every mentally ill or deviant person. Enablement is the opposite of love.)

Well there are far more that have rejected feminism than you might think. The average woman likes being a woman and wants to be excellent at it. She wants kids and grands and friends and a happy life. I am horribly grieved by feminism, but sometimes I feel like people blame women for everything that goes on in the world and don’t really understand or look into the numbers. Studies overwhelmingly show that Gen X young women have completely rejected it. I think it’s popular to blame women solely for the downfall of society, but my Bible says that men and women are equal - in the destruction department. I believe the majority of women are doing some pretty wonderful things in society based on how God has wired them. We don’t hear about that. And having been in the church over 40 years, I have yet to run into any feminists in our ranks. I’m all for pastors denouncing feminism from the pulpit, but how about a disclaimer that clarifies who they really are? (Hint: it’s not likely they’re sitting in the pews).

Alan,

Don’t believe every post without doing some research first. This is from the DeSantis website:

Earlier this year, Governor DeSantis signed SB 1718, the strongest anti-illegal immigration legislation in the country. Among other provisions to combat Biden’s Border Crisis, the bill prohibits the issuance of a driver license to anyone who does not provide proof of lawful presence in the U.S. and specifies that out-of-state driver licenses issued exclusively to illegal aliens are invalid in Florida. Those presenting an invalid out-of-state driver license during a traffic stop will be subject to the penalties outlined in Section 322.03 Florida Statutes.

“Someone who is in our country illegally and has violated our laws should not possess a government-issued ID which allows them access to state-funded services and other privileges afforded to lawful residents,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “The Biden administration may continue to abdicate its responsibilities to secure our border, but Florida will stand for the rule of law. Even if the federal government refuses, Florida will act decisively to protect our citizens, our state, and our country.”

JUST FACTS:

What portion of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. have false identity documents that might allow them to work, vote, and receive welfare?

Correct Answer:

About 100%. So far, 35% of all users have answered this question correctly.

Tell Me More:

In 2017, California Senate Leader and Democrat Kevin De Leon testified that "anyone who has family members who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification." This is corroborated by (1) a 2013 report by the Social Security Administration that estimated there were 0.7 million unauthorized immigrants who worked by using SS numbers obtained by using "fraudulent birth certificates" and 1.8 million who worked by using SS numbers "that did not match their name"; (2) a 2002 Government Accountability Office study that found "the use of fraudulent documents by aliens is extensive"; (3) a 1998 bust in Los Angeles that "seized nearly two million counterfeit documents" such as "permanent resident cards and SS cards"; and (4) a 2005 NY Times article that reported: "Currently available for about $150 on street corners in just about any immigrant neighborhood in California, a typical fake ID package includes a green card and SS card. “

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed never had a trial?!! I didn't know that. That in itself is further proof if we needed it that this whole 9/11 thing was "an inside job". And when the government runs a conspiracy, the last thing it wants is for information to come out about it. No trial? No courts-martial? No nothing. Declared guilty, end of story. Expand full comment

Pastor Matt is spot on. I learned 50 years ago from the book "The Irony of Democracy" (which I believe is an introduction to political theory for young elites and has never gone out of print) that the American political system is a Uniparty and the "two-party system" only exists to deceive the American people into thinking they have a choice. They don't. It's a uniparty and the "the lesser of two evils" syndrome is the result.

I never thought it through this far but if American churches and their congregations removed themselves from the political process of "no choice", we would eventually become a sizable political force to contend with - just because of our absence from the political scene. IE, we refuse to be co-opted. As Pastor points out, we are currently motivated by fear to chose the lesser of. That's NOT what God's Word teaches us. Refuse to cater to fear and instead stand for His law and righteousness - and here's the clincher - AND TRUST IN CHRIST TO RULE HISTORY from His throne in heaven ("but but but...the end times!"). Substitute trust for fear. That's the formula.

Well, there it is. Maybe 1% of all pastors would understand that and then only 1% of their flock. To my mind, the real key to his sermon was his opening point that national repentance will only come about through Judgement. He took the words right out of my mouth. This is exactly why I have been saying that a reckoning of God's judgment IS coming to America. After that, then the American churches will be ready to hear the rest of his sermon.

That's how I see it. Hard times are coming for everyone and there will be no express train "rapture" of escape.

Expand full comment
Politico Phil's avatar

Correct me if I'm wrong but in regards to marriage, I think the root problem is that marriage is regulated and licensed by the State. That should not be. Marriage and the family should not be controlled by the state. It's the same thing with incorporation of churches. The church should never be subject to the state. Family and church are separate, independent spheres of government. What we have done is made civil government the ruler of all. Totally wrong. "One ring to rule them all."

Argument over homosexual marriage is pointless. If two people of the same sex want to "get married", they can draw up a contract and move in together and call it a marriage. But we know it is not and it is not recognized by the church. With the Gov't in control of licensing a marriage, that is simply an avenue for the perverts to force their view through the Gov't on the rest of us and require churches to perform such "marriages". The problem is not the homosexuals. The problem is the Gov't control.
