That Chronicles passage is to the nation of Israel. Never the church. Never America. The only nation God deals with corporately is Israel. People need to stop taking this out of context. God will not be “healing our land” anytime soon based on the “church” repenting. Bad theology, that.

My, my, you have a lot of inside information. Well, while I absolutely agree that God deals with Israel and she is his beloved, no matter how badly she behaves; there is plenty of Biblical evidence that God deals with all nations. And that the church is well and properly adopted and grafted into the root, which is Israel.
I believe my theology is Biblically based and truly don’t understand your grief.
“… there is plenty of Biblical evidence that God deals with all nations. And that the church is well and properly adopted and grafted into the root, which is Israel.”
Well, Bryan, if you were on a quiz show answering the question, “Is North America mentioned in the Bible?” That answer might have put you over the top.
But I can’t think of any other practical use for it.
What biblical evidence can you provide that your god deals with all nations?
The native Americans living in North and South America were quite unaware of the gods of Christianity. The Aborigines living on the Australian continent never knew of Jesus. The men that wrote that which was compiled in the bible were only familiar with a very small geographical area in what we call
Gosh, Bryan, Bible scholars never thought of that! /s/
If I thought providing you with scriptures would be beneficial, I would do it gladly. But I think you need to treat this as a debate in which you are required to take the side of your opponent with a million dollar prize for the winner.
The information you seek is very easy to find. With the internet, it’s a cinch.
for God is present in the company of the righteous.
I’m beginning to think you’re a bitter preacher’s kid.
You are not seeking answers to these questions that top the list for questions atheists ask. They’ve been answered throughout the centuries. But you’re not interested in answers. So; Proverbs 23:9. “Do not speak to a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.” And Proverbs 26:4.
“Do not answer a fool according to his foolishness, Or you will also be like him.”
You are just seeking to abuse Christians in your continuous fight against the God you claim does not exist. Why do you care so much about a God you claim doesn’t even exist?

Well said Willing Spirit. 👍🏼

I am not debating or looking to win a prize.
I am just stating facts.
That’s too bad, because the actual prize is an eternity with God.
Why would I want to spend an eternity with a psychotic
genocidal maniac? I would rather cross 'The Rainbow Bridge' and
hang out with all of the animals that aren't allowed in Heaven.
And, if you do not accept Anubis into your heart, you will not
be reincarnated in the afterlife.
No. The Bible says otherwise.
OK, please point me to the scriptures that describe North America and its precolonial inhabitants.
Psalm 14
For the director of music. Of David.
1 The fool[a] says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven
on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.
3 All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.
4 Do all these evildoers know nothing?
They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on the Lord.
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
for God is present in the company of the righteous.

The bible is not evidence of anything. It is a claim of something.
You cannot prove the bible with the bible.
You can trace the fables in the bible to other earlier religious traditions.
Almost everything celebrated in Christianity was plagiarized from earlier religions.
Agreed Willing Spirit!
You should read Psalm 2 sometime.
And the Israel of God is the church - the body of all true believers. this is very clear from Romans 10.
