Well there are far more that have rejected feminism than you might think. The average woman likes being a woman and wants to be excellent at it. She wants kids and grands and friends and a happy life. I am horribly grieved by feminism, but sometimes I feel like people blame women for everything that goes on in the world and don’t really understand or look into the numbers. Studies overwhelmingly show that Gen X young women have completely rejected it. I think it’s popular to blame women solely for the downfall of society, but my Bible says that men and women are equal - in the destruction department. I believe the majority of women are doing some pretty wonderful things in society based on how God has wired them. We don’t hear about that. And having been in the church over 40 years, I have yet to run into any feminists in our ranks. I’m all for pastors denouncing feminism from the pulpit, but how about a disclaimer that clarifies who they really are? (Hint: it’s not likely they’re sitting in the pews).
