Speaking to a friend yesterday about University of Kansas mens head basketball coach. He’s at KU med after an apparent heart attack. I said 2 words- damn vaxx. I was met with “Susan if it was the vaccines, we’d all be dead by now”. The ignorance runs deep. Yes KU has had mandatory vaccinations

And if it was Thalidomide, every baby would've been deformed. But not every baby was deformed.

Thing is...it WAS Thalidomide.

F'n Covid ignoramuses.

Very first rotation in nursing school a fellow student had a former thalidomide baby as a patient. No arms, no legs. An image I’ll never forget

Only today reading the comments. I can’t understand why people think that if nothing happened to them it’s not happening. What an ignorant way of looking at things. There is no substance in this world that affects everyone the same. I tell people sometimes that they should say a prayer that nothing happened to them

Yes, their logical circuits (The vaccine did not harm everybody, so vaccines cause no harm) are rather shorted out. Hum, one could also respond, "well clearly you did not need a vaccine, as Covid did not kill everybody, so Covid causes no harm."

Somehow I missed this yesterday when I checked on the game results. It was a busy day and I normally pay more attention to KU basketball. So Bill has joined the growing number of persons (mostly men) in my sphere who are having to have "a Procedure"after experiencing aFib or all out heart attacks. How do they not see it? No one wants to talk about the elephant in the room.

And as to Andrew's comment. Exactly, I considered the Thalidomide episode when I first made the decision to wait before getting a shot...and Vioxx....and HPV vaccine...

They don’t see it because it is cognitive dissonance (and pride).

Too much fear of covid supposedly doing the same thing. And that's the cover-up, too. "Aww, they had covid, it must've damaged their heart."

Watching my 70yo bro in law in critical condition with heart failure (4 stents)and now kidneys struggling. But it has to be because he’s a T1 diabetic. No one is seeing it was likely exacerbated by all his Covid shots.
