The Congress hearings are incredible. The Democrats (which I considered myself to be until around two years ago) are batshit crazy. They are outraged, livid, beside themselves that "so-called journalists" had the gall to expose an all-encompassing government censorship and propaganda machine. The lack of introspection is astounding. They are caricatures of every villain we were trained to identify as evil in our fancy liberal schools. And they cannot see it at all.

The battle between good and evil in the real world is generally ambiguous. But a pretty solid rule of thumb, perhaps the most solid rule of thumb, is that the guys suppressing speech and spreading propaganda are the bad guys, and the guys exposing and trying to stop the suppression of speech are the good guys. I mean, this was hammered into me in my many years of education in liberal spaces. How are these people so oblivious to the fact that they've become the censors and propagandists, and that the censors and propagandists are the bad guys?

I don’t know about everyone else here, but that bit about SB222 being replaced by SB252 really ticked me off. So I wrote to my own State Senator and about 20 other State Senators (including Burton) before my fingers got sore, with the simple message: “Bring back SB222 and pass that, not watered down, corporate approved SB252. WE WANT MEDICAL FREEDOMS NOW”. I have no idea if it will make any difference but it was worth a try. I can’t help but wonder what we could do if all of us C&C readers did the same thing.

Happy Birthday Jeff! 🎉🥳🎈 I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Thank you for your witty, thought-provoking epistles every day. (I’m still laughing at your recent analogy of Mayor Pete’s “puny spurt” of value 😂🤣😂🤣)

At this moment, I have 800 unread emails which are composed almost entirely of unread Substack notifications, and I get further behind by the hour. But I always read your article every morning as soon as it arrives, even when I’m running late (which only happens on days ending in y).

I look forward to your next full-length installment!

Speaking to a friend yesterday about University of Kansas mens head basketball coach. He’s at KU med after an apparent heart attack. I said 2 words- damn vaxx. I was met with “Susan if it was the vaccines, we’d all be dead by now”. The ignorance runs deep. Yes KU has had mandatory vaccinations

Happy birthday, Jeff! Thank you for this daily slice of sanity in our otherwise crazy world!

On an unrelated note, an independent journalist - House Inhabit - who mainly focuses on Hollywood Gossip but has a penchant for the first amendment included the following in her most recent Substack: "Addinally, I was told that in private settings, where Justin [Bieber] feels “safe,” he becomes a very vocal “Trumper.” The source claimed that Justin attributes his current ailment (the cause of his latest tour cancellation) to the vaccine."

Watching the democrats in congress continue to lie through their teeth that the government didn't censor and tell us to Don’ t believe your lying eyes, is delicious. It’s not very often that such revelations by a congressional committee are so easily understood and plain to see, even for the lowest of informational voters. I pray that THIS hearing will be the domino that makes all the other dominos fall.

I’ve read Robert Malone’s book, “Lies My Government Told Me”. Great read. In it he says he believes there had to be one “guy” (man or woman)to who made the call to lock every nation down during covid. He does not know who that person is but says he believes this because of the incredible coordination that every nation got locked down in short order spouting the same talking points. I too would love to know who that person is. He says it’s someone not previously in the spotlight. So it’s not Schwab or Soros or people like that. It’s interesting. I highly recommend reading his book.

Happy Birthday, Jeff and thanks so much for your dedication to your loyal readers. Like many others, yours is the email I look forward to each day.

I’m particularly heartened by the Catholic story this morning. This nonsense has gone on for way too long and needs to be stopped. I stopped contributing to the church at large some time ago but would be happy to contribute to efforts such as these to expose these frauds and restore the integrity of the church I once so loved.

OK, neither Matt Taibbi nor Michael Schellenberger is a Republican, but I'd wager that after this display, they are not Democrats, either. #walkaway

I’m always astounded by the pitifully low sums for which American politicians sell out their government to special interests. Perhaps that’s just the compensation that is on the books.

Yes, thanks to commenter JHenry, we learned yesterday that Senator Colleen Burton has received campaign donations from a trade organization that lobbies on behalf of pharmaceutical companies. Can't make it up.

The senator has sponsored a bill to prohibit discrimination...by discriminating. It singles out Covid®. The language of SB 252, as I read it, supposedly prohibits the public and private sector from certain discriminatory conduct only as it relates to "the big C." Perhaps to make up for, undo, apologize for the egregiously unlawful conduct of the private and public sector during the criminal operation? Who knows?

In contrast, Webster Barnaby's (HB 305) and Joe Gruters' (SB 222) identical bills would prohibit discrimination on the basis of any "vaccination status." It adds medical choice to the FL Civil Rights Act, making these decisions civil rights -- because they are fundamental human rights!

As for 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒆𝒏, her bad optics is a trifecta: $25,500 from the Pharmaceutical Researchers & Manufacturers of America trade organization; she chairs the Health & Human Services Committee; and she then 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒔 a bill that competes with Gruters -- a bill that ends C-19 discrimination and forced vaccination while leaving in place all the other mandates and discrimination currently in place related to all other vaccine requirements.

Bad optics? I'll say.
