My biggest concern in terms of self-defense is being able to defend me and my family from the increasingly organized, random violence from the 30 million illegal invaders, a vast number of which are single, military age men without families. Has anyone ever read "Lord of the Flies" by Golding?
I must have read Lord of the Flies over 50 years ago but it was so disturbing, it really stuck in my mind. From my hazy memory, what it does is illustrate, in a microcosm, the mentality that takes over a society when there is a total breakdown of law and familial structure. All law and government is based on familial structure and this is why Marxists and Satanists try to destroy the family first. When I consider the tens of millions of single, military age men without families who have invaded our country with cultural attitudes that hate Christianity, I see Lord of the Flies. The best word to describe my reaction is "Chilling".
Maybe when they point they'll be surprised how many point back...

I read it about 20 years ago. What part of that do you see as applicable to these times? Not arguing - just asking for your perspective.

Motivation for Lord of the Flies is suspect with its depiction of mankind.
There’s a real life example of boys marooned on an island that has a very different take.

So many young minds have been forced to read that ghastly fictional tale and believe it’s human nature.
