I love all this and agree but I think we are allowed to protect ourselves and go after them legally for crimes they have committed. We are not expected to be doormats. Jesus did take a whip made of cords and drive out the money changes and people selling doves in the Temple. We can just prosecute them with kindness saying “we are sorry you did xyz and you will now have to face the natural consequences. We will witness and visit you in jail”.
As Christians, we are failing. The culture war began in the 1960's and many Boomer parents naively chose to let their children choose their path rather than guide them along and give them wisdom and direction and read the Bible with them. Probably following Dr. Spock's advice and Donahue on TV. I was almost lost because of my parents' lack of Christian guidance, but the Holy Spirit didn't give up on me.

Exactly.

Donahue gave some really bad advice on relationships. I still remember.
Works for me!
