♥ Can you vouch for these search engines of which you speak? The yellow duck showed it's true colors on Saturday and I am dumping it forthwith. Good to see you. : )

(Although with uncommon searches it sometimes runs out of results and asks if you'd like to fetch results from google or bing - but at least it gives you the choice.)
Nothing is perfect. But I don't use Google because I hate Google for what they have and are doing to us. And for sure Google has been and is waging war on us. And I gave up on DuckDuckGo when I heard them advertising on National Public Radio. At the time, the Duck was already not quacking too well. Maybe they got bought out or somehow coopted?
Dogpile gives generally good information. Metager, which is German based, is useful for more unusual stuff, technical stuff and so on.
These two do the trick for most things I want to know. And being 75 has admittedly lower my demand considerations.
Never the google. They are the devil, probably literally. Just watched Tucker from the Heritage Foundation at the RNC. It was really good and says just what I think. Here is the link in case you want a good watch. Thanks for the info! https://www.youtube.com/live/LhibtsGTB2I
Yandex has been working great as a search engine. Such a huge difference in what appears when I do a side by side search on Google then identical search on Yandex.

In my experience Brave Search is also not bad (from the same people behind the Brave browser).
