Here are some links. Also, and this is notable I do believe. It took the doctors about 6 months to finally figure out that my buddy had ALS. Within two days of the diagnosis, the Air Force contacted him and said they would cover all the costs of his care until his passing which was about 18 months after the diagnosis.

Thank you. I once heard that the average time from diagnosis to death is about 14 to 18 months. My mom’s was 14 months. ALS is absolutely horrible. I’m so sorry about your buddy. Thank you for the links!

One of my best friend just passed away of ALS

She was 43 when she was diagnosed…and was training for a marathon at the time of onset

She limped among for four years… on a MASSIVE mitochondrial cocktail… it did help… but then she took the covid vaccine and she was in excruciating pain… and she did assisted suicide 6 weeks later

I have no words for any of it.

Truthfully.

It’s an absolutely horrible way to die… ❤️‍🩹

And I am so sorry for your loss.

An MD she saw at Dartmouth thought her infection was caused by Cyanobacteria… and there were a cluster of cases in NH… so that MD put her on high dose serine…

And I think between the serine and mitochondrial cocktail- she got more time than most ALS patients

I thought five consecutive years of her getting the flu shot… was what killed her motor neurons … and the fact that she’d had a huge skiing accident and very bad subsequent concussion… so she had likely opened up her BBB- blood Brain barrier… and the aluminum adjuvant from the flu vaccines insulted the motor neurons

Also also metabolic stress

She was training for a marathon… pushing her body to its limit.

‘The perfect storm’

I miss her

She was one of the funniest people I’ve ever known. ❤️ I hope she’s resting in peace now.
