Dr. Paul Alexander is a doctor in Canada - his Substack writings are VERY agitated and angry--so I don't read most of them (surely don't need more negative energy in our lives, do we!). But the gist of his writing is that JUSTICE is not going to be done for these crimes against humanity--and he wants REVENGE. Revenge is NEVER sweet...and it belongs to Yahweh--not to us mere mortals!

Titus 3 :)) !

Believers in Jesus Christ seek truth and justice, but not revenge. The Dr. needs His Grace & Peace —

James Corbett is not like that Canadian Dr, but does tend to take deep dives into some pretty bad hellholes of recent history. I suppose that might lead one to his kind of often sardonic writing & vids. I do like and appreciate him greatly but just not with my daily morning coffee ;)

I'm chuckling right now because of your last sentence, Dick--LOL!

Best to have krimpettes with your coffee--and NOT sauerkraut--LOL!

Hey there — I was thinking about this comment as I made my afternoon coffee (Norsky here — we drink it all day 😂). I thought, yeah! What an apt analogy, really!

Sauerkraut is so excellent & important a food...however!...😊 God Bless

Glad you like my "metaphoric comment", Dick...I'm German--so mentioning "sauerkraut" is genetic with me--LOL!

Yeppir, Dick--kraut is one of the "super foods" and it aids and abets our autoimmune system big time!

Wishing we could sit & visit over a cup of coffee & krimpettes (I’d never heard that word — had to look it up!) & talk about God, beauty & truth & goodness — and chilluns & good folks & & &...

Btw, I’m not Dick, I’m his widow. 10 years this year. Entering the “trauma memory” season. Your comms so gently tickled my funnybone & nudged me into a livelier place. Blessed me much! My name’s Deborah, but I still love Dick ;)) You can call me Dick.

Thank you!

God Bless! Have a Beautiful Evening, Sharon!

Oh my dearest new friend - thanks so much for writing these words. I've been "on the fence" about whether I should try my "hand" at copy writing--I've always enjoyed the written word and used to write vociferously in my "younger days". Even had one of my poems published in our school newspaper. But I haven't written very much in the past 50+ years. I need to make some extra ducats to be able to strike out on my own once more--can't "make it" on just my S/S retirement income and my small biz has dried up in the past 6 months (after running it from my home for almost 25 years). I believe your telling me this is the Lord's way of saying to me, "Sharon..you CAN have a writing "stint" to earn those extra buckeroos!"

Thank you, Deborah, for the words of encouragement...now I have to lay me down for a nap.....didn't get one today! Naps are essential at our ages, right?

Dick is waiting for you on the REAL SIDE of life--we will know our loved ones in eternity--and we won't ever have "angry words" in the Lord's bright kingdom.

Nite, nite!!

Oh my! I wrote you & somehow lost it & I’m so sorry I didn’t answer sooner!

Your words made me cry. As I read them again today, it started all over again. No more hit & runs to go nap for you!

Well, my friend, I’m trying to figure out how we can exchange emails without telling the world. I have two plans:

1) Keep writing here until it becomes a sub-, sub-, sub-, sub- sub-thread & no-one would possibly be following a couple of gushing silly old bitties anymore. 😂

We could even play it up & be written off entirely. (Hey! I think I’ve just hit on the Miss Marple secret to having fun in old age!)

2) You could start a Substack of your own. I think that gives you access to your subscriber’s emails, by which you could get mine and we’re on our way!

Of course, as a SIDE benefit you’d get to write on it. Try your hand! Write a little or a lot — just keep it fed & watered every few days...& keep up your fine commenting here with Jeff & the amazing folks here & they’ll see next to your name “writes substack: ...... “ with the link and they’ll click on it.& read!...Which I surely and absolutely hope you will do! (I’m sure you’ve thought of this already...)

So, I eagerly await word and pray God will Bless you and your future readers and any subsubsubsubthreads we may produce.

I have subscribed to Substack writers but not for my own "compositions". You can write to me at sharonabend@yahoo.com and I don't mind if others "troll" me there as it was used for many years for other business activities.

See you on Yahoo mail then--blessings abound to you from your fellow "sweet senior" gal!
