It is exhausting! for sure. Don't know if you're informed about HSPs -highly sensitive persons- (Elaine Aron, PhD wrote the book) but if you are one, which I am (finally figured out 7 or 8 years ago what's been "wrong" with me my whole life) it's doubly, triply, quadruply exhausting. I had to forsake the live fray. Pull inward and keep the 3 people close, though all are distant so text and calls were it though savior of my sanity. Let me support you and vote it's ok not to care so much for a spell. My spell has lasted since 2020. Quite a spell. I don't look forward to reconnecting with old friends by phone since I can tell by text they might anxiously be off to the next booster. A friend's husband died recently. Turbo cancer. 4 months from Dx to death. I can't say a word. I keep talking to the husband in my head (apologies if I conflict with beliefs) asking him to guide my friend to wake up. Yadda. Hang in there. Just a little bite of support for you on a Tuesday.
