Depends on one’s theological viewpoint.

I certainly am not going to argue (in the true liberal sense of the word 😉).

There are many who believed the events of Revelation spoke to the literal churches in the first century and described how to endure and persevere during those end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it times. I mean, people who didn’t say “Caesar is King” got fed to lions. Babies were left exposed to the elements to die.

pFizer death shots are about as deadly as being fed to lions. They just look more palatable than ravenous beasts in a stadium. “The government knows best” sounds in essence a lot like “Caesar is king.”

"the events of Revelation spoke to the literal churches in the first century" -- well, most of it. The final judgement and new heavens and earth are still agreed to be future by all orthodox Christians. ;)
