J6 Committee dramatically subpoenas Trump; Tulsi departs democrat party; experts baffled by inflation surge; EU demands refund for fake vaccines; PayPal bribes users; comedian seeks WWIII; and more.
Good morning, and happy Friday, C&C! We’re halfway through October and less than a month before midterms. Hold onto your hat. Today’s roundup includes: J6 Committee subpoenas President Trump for testimony after “convicting him” of sedition, or insurrection, or something; Tulsi leaves the democrats, nuking the bridges behind her; inflation “unexpectedly” surges, baffling Joe Biden; MEP demands a refund for “fake vaccines”; PayPal tries to bribe users to stay; Twitter cancels AOL critics; State Department tries to start World War III; Biden forgets stuff; and the best Freudian slip you’ll see all year.
🗞 *THE C&C ARMY POST* 🗞
🪖 Last night I spoke at the Unity Conference Event in Clearwater and had a chance to visit with tons of loyal C&C fans. In case you missed it, I will also be speaking at the second annual Covid Summit in Ocala, Florida next Saturday, October 22, with a terrific lineup of other speakers, including Doctors Robert Malone, Ryan Cole, Pierre Kory, Richard Urso, Paul Marik, Steven Hatfill, and many others, including my awesome fellow attorney Bobbie Ann Cox, who single-handedly shut down New York’s deplorable quarantine camps.
Last year’s Covid Summit was one of the best such events in 2021, as judged by feedback and by how often people still mention it. This one looks to be even better, and is being held at a great venue in the Villages, Florida. You can register at prescribetruth.com. Hope to see you there.
🗞*WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 🗞
🔥 Remember, it’s totally coincidental. This story has nothing to do with the mid-terms — nothing at all — but yesterday — three weeks before the critical congressional elections — the January 6th Committee held a blockbuster hearing, you’ll be forgiven if you weren’t aware it was even happening, and in a dramatic finale voted to subpoena President Trump for public testimony before the Committee and to produce tons of documents.
They even let the detestable Miss Piggy, I mean Liz Cheney, propose the resolution.
It’s another stunt; the Committee has no more meetings scheduled before the elections. Furthermore, a congressional subpoena CAN request documents within a short period, like a week or two, but in practice nothing happens for at least a month. Trump’s attorneys will respond, almost certainly raising various objections that will have to be hashed out in court.
So Trump WON’T testify before the elections.
But the Committee MIGHT have time to do it before the new Congress convenes in January and pulls their plug. Maybe. They should’ve started this a month ago. It makes you wonder if they really want to hear from Trump, or just want to complain about him resisting their subpoena and force the Republicans to “let him off the hook.”
To give you some flavor of how things went, corpulent Committee chair Bennie Thompson kicked off the hearing announcing that the “evidence” has “proven” Donald Trump “led” a “plan” to “overturn” the 2020 election — and the “plan” directly led to an attack on the U.S. Capitol and an attempt to stop a congressional proceeding.
First of all, it’s not a court. They’re not judges. Their silly video clips are not “evidence.” They have no legal right to “prove” anything. Bennie Thompson is one of the dimmest bulbs on the Democrats’ flickering Winter Solstice tree. Anyway, they played a bunch of cherry-picked, heavily edited video clips of various people saying all the usual impassioned things that people — including democrats — say before elections.
Thompson concluded insisting they’ve proven beyond any reasonable doubt that, after giving his speech on January 6th, Trump intended to personally lead a “heavily armed” group of “terrorists wearing body armor” in an attack on the Capitol. Or, he wanted to drive the Beast “off the road” to meet the terrorists at the Capitol, instead of walking there. Either way.
I am not making that up.
The Committee explained its theory that Trump just wanted to delay the election certification by a few days, so that his “fake elector plot” would have time to work, which would overturn the totally unexpected historical vote for Joe Biden that magically appeared in the middle of the night. Then the Committee voted to subpoena Trump, and the unhinged leftwing twitter swamps erupted in widespread celebrations. It was like a virtual block party in Wonderland combined with a deranged ticker-tape parade.
Presidents have been subpoenaed before — Thomas Jefferson for documents, Richard Nixon for tapes and Bill Clinton for testimony. All were settled without anyone testifying. But I don’t think the Committee is going to settle this one. I think that in the future we can confidently expect a lot more former presidents to be subpoenaed.
You don’t hear the term “banana republic” nearly as often as you should these days.
🔥 Former democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard announced this week she is leaving the Democrat Party, surprising Alabama resident Leon Jeffries, who just awoke from a twenty-year coma. That unsurprising announcement probably won’t bother Nancy Pelosi much, but the next part will. Tulsi didn’t just leave. She also called for OTHER democrats to quit:
“I’m calling on my fellow, common-sense, independent-minded democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking the country, then I invite you to join me.”
Tulsi blew up her bridges better than the terrorists who attacked the Kersch bridge in Crimea. It’s an interesting analysis to consider whether Tulsi’s statement will actually persuade many democrats to leave the party. But it probably does move the Overton Window, giving sane liberals who might have been on the fence some cover. They can now cite Tulsi to their virtue-signaling liberal friends.
Her next comments showed Tulsi must be a conspiracy theorist. She said:
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic party that’s under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeists.”
An elitist cabal of warmongers! And, “cowardly wokeists” — ouch! That kind of talk right there can get you banned from YouTube.
Talk already started about a Trump-Gabbard ticket. It’s WAY too early for that.
📈 ZeroHedge ran a story yesterday headlined, “US Core CPI Surges To 40 Year Highs; Food & Shelter Costs Soar.” The ‘CPI’ is the “Consumer Price Index,” a measurement of inflation the government carefully games so as to show as small an effect as possible. So it is fair to conclude that REAL inflation is worse, maybe much worse, than the CPI shows.
At 8.2% annual inflation, the United States is now at the highest rate of inflation since the early 80’s. As I said, given how the government has watered-down the statistics over the years, we might be even closer to the Carter peak than the graph suggests. In other words, a Carter economy is starting to look like a best-case scenario. As you can see from the chart, prices have increased steadily since the time Biden took office.
In the latest repot, rent and shelter inflation saw the highest price increases on record, in history, ever. Food prices are up at least +13% from one year ago. Again, these figures are probably understated. Meanwhile, on the other side of the household ledger, real wages have fallen for EIGHTEEN STRAIGHT MONTHS.
It’s no coincidence that prices started spiking as soon as Biden invaded the White House. His first official acts effectively shut down U.S. domestic oil production, directly leading to higher energy costs. And higher energy prices quickly boost most other economic sectors due to higher transportation costs.
Joe Biden is baffled. He promised this would never ever happen. I don’t know, maybe he still has a trick up his sleeve that we haven’t seen, along with the little note cards that remind him where to stand and what to say.
But I wouldn’t bet on any tricks up Biden’s sleeve, except making it worse.
Depending on your point of view and level of educational attainment, it might also reassure you that Biden rammed through the most expensive spending bill in the history of the country — his “build back better” climate bill relabeled with a new and improved Orwellian moniker, “the Inflation Reduction Act.”
That Inflation Reduction Act seems to be working exactly as intended. Good times.
💉 Pfizer’s “speed of science” admission this week continued blossoming yesterday, when Croatian lawyer and EU Member of Parliament Mislav Kolakusic demanded a refund for the jabs. Calling them “fake vaccines,” Kalakusic demanded the immediate termination of the Pfizer vaccine contract and a refund of the €71 billion euros paid to date.
So.
🔥 PayPal, whose share price plunged after unsuccessfully attempting to $2,500 fine its own users for murkily-defined “misinformation,” is now dangling a $15 credit to entice users attempting to cancel their service to stay with the service.
But the bribe may not have been a super-awesome idea. Wily PayPal users are reportedly taking the credit and THEN cancelling their accounts.
Get woke, go broke. Et cetera.
🔥 Yesterday I posted a viral clip showing two students shouting angrily at Representative Ocasio-Cortez, calling her an elitist warmonger or something. Then later yesterday, Twitter locked the accounts of the two young men who confronted AOC in the clip.
I know what you’re thinking. But social media giants are NOT collaborating to help democrats. How dare you.
🚀 As Biden’s elite cabal of State Department warmongers work overtime to find a way to jam Ukraine’s NATO application through, Russia said Ukraine’s NATO membership would probably start World War III, just wait and see.
Geopolitical strategy genius and dancing comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged his allies to start the nuclear war, immediately. In order to prevent the war. Or something. “What NATO has to do to prevent or deter the use of nuclear weapons by Russia,” Zelenskyy argued, is take “preventive strikes, preventive action” so that Russia would get a taste of the consequences before they deploy nuclear weapons first.
Hey, Zelenskyy’s no Einstein, okay? Don’t mock the mentally disabled. He grew up drinking water out of lead pipes.
Russia’s Security Council Alexander Venediktov responded by pointing out the obvious fact that Zelenskyy’s proposed first-strike nuclear attacks would inevitably lead to global nuclear apocalypse. “We must remember: a nuclear conflict will affect absolutely the whole world — not only Russia and the collective West, but every country on this planet,” Venediktov said. “The consequences would be disastrous for all mankind.”
But who cares! You can’t have a Great Reset without breaking a few Geiger counters. Viva Ukraine!
🔥 Earlier this week, oil-cancer-survivor Joe Biden forgot that his son Beau died from brain cancer, and mis-remembered that Beau was killed in action in Iraq.
The latest Biden gaffe is just one in a series lately. Just in the last month, Joe Biden asked to speak with a dead woman, claimed he was raised by Puerto Ricans, had to be escorted off the stage, and wandered off during a hurricane briefing.
But at least he’s not mean-tweeting! I don’t think he could mean tweet even if he were inclined to.
Record number of votes, and didn’t even campaign.
🔥 Every once in a while, a politician says what they really MEANT, and not what they MEANT TO SAY. Today’s amusing clip is a terrific example of a horrible, terrible, disastrous Freudian slip:
The look on Craig’s opponent Tyler Kistner’s face is … priceless. This clip could be the poster-child for the entire pandemic. Memers, get busy.
Have a fabulous Friday! I’ll see you back here tomorrow for the weekend edition.

"Build Back Better?".... I thought he was saying "smell her sweater." I'm so confused. Anywho, it's been a good year for cleaning house. Torpedoed all things Disney, ditched Bank of America and went with a local Credit Union, etc....Obliterated Paypal yesterday afternoon. Feeling dandy fine.
The fact is, the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.
Covid was a scam unleashed to prevent his reelection, with fraudulent mail-in voting enabled by the USPS (which was paid off by their exemption from the Jab mandates).
As the dangerous and ineffective Jabs were increasingly showing widespread death and damage to children and adults, the perfect distraction was a proxy war with Russia.
It's remarkable how many people go along with all this even today. At least alternative sources like this substack help to educate and inform. That's why I enjoy C&C so much.
