Musk is not a friend. He gives out an appearance of being your friend or an ally by posting on Twitter the things YOU wish you could post. It's a psychological game.
He is not a friend to humans.
Jaxon gave an interesting report on the Highwire recently about Musk.

"I Was a Starter Wife": Inside America's Messiest Divorce
- In the middle of her headline-grabbing divorce settlement from Elon Musk, Justine Musk reveals the truth about her marriage to the multimillionaire cofounder of PayPal, Tesla Motors, and SpaceX
I read about some of this awhile back. And I just find it hard to buy completely into all of the woman's story. But of course, I have no way of knowing. And I am not sure who Elon is. BUT ... he did stand up to Newsom on trying to shutter down his manufacturing plant and the attention drawn to Twitter is not bad for us.
Perhaps we should remember that people are not all one thing, that there are factions always in play. Remember this while still insisting upon our view as tp which way things ought to go.
Actually, he has Asperger's and is both brilliant and cursed as a result. He will struggle forever with personal relationships but his mind works (or shortcuts) through problems in ways most cannot. I think his "inhumanity" is a result of the Asperger's (i.e. it's a detachment disorder). That said, the fact that he's capable of humility (which is what he demonstrated when he admitted he discovered he'd been wrong to vote for leftist politicians and their policies) given the power and wealth he's amassed is pretty extraordinary. That's the only thing that gives me hope for him...
He's a bit of a conundrum that's for sure. But the word is his parents were both into Eugenics....
And if he really was interested in cutting edge clean technology he should have picked up Stanley Meyer's Water Car.
Pour water/seawater in your tank, split the water molecule, burn the hydrogen, on demand, release the oxygen.
If a cell phone has more capability than than a building full of computers a few decades ago, but we are running basically the same engine for 100 years to get around that SHOULD lead to some questions, don't ya think??
His parents were a train wreck (at least as far as their relationship to each other) and he's completely estranged from his father (who was a monster/psychopath from everything I have read). I wouldn't attribute anything his parents said/did to him, necessarily.
As for clean tech, he's come straight out an admitted that it makes no economic (or climate) sense (even as he's reimagined it) and is really a temporary pet project. His goal is to move beyond Earth.
As for your last point, that sounds very intriguing. Is it scientifically possible? Sustainable? And are you saying that it's the Corporatist Giants in the Energy/Auto sector that have regulatory capture over any attempt at moving into truly sustainable fuels? (I could totally buy that.)
"estranged from his father (who was a monster/psychopath from everything I have read)" Have not read that - just know he owned an emerald mine in apartheid South Africa and were rich - like the parents of Gates, Bezos and all our other so-called self-made people...
It's a pretty fascinating (awful) story if you research Musk Sr. Yes, he was rich, but such a psycho that Mrs. Musk grabbed the kids and left for America with absolutely nothing (in terms of riches) to start over in a place where she and the kids could be safe from their father.

Wow. I never even knew he was married with that many sons! This was eye opening. Thanks!
For someone trying to "save the planet" he sure is having a LOT of children, lol!
Of course the did come out recently stating that population collapse was a more serious long term issue than overpopulation...
Just doing his part!
; ))
Is it true that one of them is trying to become a daughter? I read that somewhere
Yes, and that one is also estranged from Musk.
I don’t know. The article didn’t talk about his kids at all. But I hope not.
Elon Musk has 10 children.
9 living. His first born died of SIDS
Wow what a story. Encouraging to know that she is a strong woman and will survive.

Interesting thread 🧵 Still Musk is deceptive. He is the new clean version of Bill Gates to fit in with the new generation. Watch out peeps
Elon did not take the jab, nor mandate it. Also his refused his many children to get the Jabs.
Also he takes his kids to work and spends lots of time with them.
He's an autist type personality and unusual for sure, but don't disparage him because of his robot business.
