Yes ... overwhelmed. Everyday there is some new affront to decency , some new depredation. We all have to stay calm and draw the wagons tighter around our loved ones. Find those places in your life that bring u joy and happiness and nuture them. We will need strength for whats coming
I keep reading revelation and books about Revelation and also watching the left behind movies. I think I’m gonna get all the books as well. Keeping track of the play-by-play on a daily basis can be a bit overwhelming but when you know how the game ends it’s a little less so
This whole tangled web of scandal plays out exactly like a fictional drama-suspense thriller film. Americans need to know this is going on. Who will tell them, and will they listen??
I find that most people I consider to be acquaintances are not like me in spirit at all. Many behave as a different species of mankind. A rare number of them I could say are "soul mates" and friends So the concept of informing "America" I find difficult to consider as a useful strategy.
Talk about getting everything they want - from all sides. Funneling money through corrupt channels to get themselves re-elected while simultaneously compromising crypto and paving the way for regulation and pushing everyone to regulated cashless currency. I know we always refer to the Deep State, but there’s no chance they aren’t real, since these are brilliant maneuvers (although getting bloated and obvious now as the empire reaches peak corruption) and the dems are electing people like Biden, Fetterman, and clueless individuals like Hochul and even (heaven forbid) Katie Hobbs. Most of these people can’t even hold regular jobs, let alone maneuver this way.
You always want to believe the country can be salvaged. I have to believe it. But how do you battle such evil and corruption?
Yes, I am feeling and thinking the same since Tuesday and in light of ongoing maneuvering to avoid accepting the actual results of the election. Not to mention that either >50% of places like Pennsylvania(voting for Fetterman) and even my own county (rising crime and murder yet re-elect blue prosecutor and sheriff) are either literally brain dead or the elections are fixed or both. How, indeed, do we overcome? It seems that God is leaving us to experience the consequences of our evil ways. No, God has not abandoned us, but he is allowing the laws of the universe to manifest.

Wow! Just wow. I read your post to my husband and daughter this morning after church as we had our coffee. As disheartening as all of this sounds, I still feel peace in my heart. Even living in a state like Illinois, God is at work in the lives of his people. I invited a woman who I’d never met before to my house for dinner tonight with a group of church women. She seemed like she needed a friend. Our job as Christians is to offer compassion and hospitality in a hurting world.
