If the people like Oster are truly apologetic, they should be stepping back on their soap boxes and standing up for people like Dr. McCullough, currently being stripped of his credentials (https://www.independentsentinel.com/dr-peter-mccullough-stripped-of-all-board-certifications-for-wrongspeak/). A vapid mea culpa in the rag known as the Atlantic is not enough. Actions speak louder than words.

Who knew that a full blown fascist and deadly agenda would come to us through the medical system. We've been taught to look for a single charismatic leader who people blindly follow rather than

public health orders people blindly follow.

YES!!!!!!

Absolutely very good point!

She should use her platform and voice as a megaphone to call for national repentance and restitution! Excellent point!

Except she is not capable of that. At least not yet. Maybe someday? Based on her call for amnesty she doesn’t really want to accept responsibility specifically for her part/their part. Amnesty is a very general act. We can and need to forgive. That’s biblical. That’s what Jesus did for us before we even thought to ask for it. While we were still sinners Christ died for us. However, there is also a law of sowing and reaping we all have to contend with in the natural. There are consequences in the natural when we commit offenses against others. There is a reckoning that needs to happen. It doesn’t happen with a general blanket admission that it wasn’t really their fault because they didn’t get “lucky” like others. I can forgive someone who doesn’t ask for that, but I don’t have to resolve that they get a pass either.

There was no mea culpa!

She said “forgive each other”

She is asking the rapist to forgive the raped. Sorry to be so blunt.

Yup exactly. Empty words do nothing for me or anyone else harmed by the actions of Emily and people of her ilk.
