The corporatization (is that a word? ) of the US happens like this: you managed to create a successful business which makes you rich, but then you are approached to sell it for the amount of money only a lottery ticket could offer you in your dreams.
You also don't have to worry about the business anymore or work anymore. So you sell.

You aren't intrinsically doing anything sinful by selling, but it enables and encourages the evil of big money to continue spreading its lure and temptation..
Selling your business for millions of $ might be somewhat benign, but what of women, models and actresses who sell their modesty posing, acting or simulating nude sex on our screens, or ala Stormy Daniels, even going onto that 'legitimate and now legal' business of pornography, in exchange for the big bucks of a magazine layout or movie role?
Or the thousands who will sue without a thought for money, not caring about whose job may be lost after the lawsuit. Or you could be like a Kardashian, or a 'housewives of xxx', or an obscene mouthed rapper, or a drug dealer or a human trafficker...it just goes on and on, especially in a society where a content middle class no longer seems to exist or be desired, a society where we are shown daily that money trumps the age old values of dignity, honor, respectability.
All we see is love of money, big money, in our culture today.
The corporate overlords, oligarchs get richer by exploiting the weakness of the masses.
@AngelaK our country has become Pottersville 😭 But I believe the pendulum is swinging back. The Regressives can only cover up their death and destruction campaign for so long until, finally, the ones who wanted to be left alone to live their lives in peace say, “No more.” The rage and screeching after Butker’s speech is an indication that the Left knows they’re losing the fight. We just have to keep trusting God and doing the next right thing 🙏🏻
He has every right to express that opinion, and I don’t disagree. But the thing is there are very few families that can make it on one salary these days. I was very lucky to live in a home with a full-time homemaker for a mother. the flattening of the middle class has made it more difficult to survive, much less thrive on one income.
I now live in a relatively poor rural area, where the single-income homeschooling families I know make sacrifices to be able to have the home lives they have developed. A lot depends on priorities and what people are willing to sacrifice.
Fair question. I don't believe so. It was supposed to be a choice- an option. Women's intellectual gifts and artistic creations have made some wonderful contributions to the world. Unfortunately, it turned into a pressure- an economic necessity in many cases. I blame the shrinking of the middle class on corporations moving their manufacturing overseas, paying slave wages and reaping huge profits. If the government represented us, instead of those companies, things would be different. But corporations fund their election. Also WAY too much war spending. 800 military bases across the world. Russia has one, and China has 2.
And the fact that his Jersey is the top selling in the NFL where 95% of those buyers had never heard of him a month ago is evidence that WE ARE THE MAJORITY

It all seems so deliberate.
The *love* of Money: the root of all evil.
The USA today.

demons always scream and rant when recognized and called out.
that's how I've learned to recognize demons

That is true.

Could that all have been premeditated too when the big push for women to have careers started? It sounded liberating at the time, but was it? 🤔

Unfortunately in too many cases two incomes are needed to pay for the big house and nice cars

Happened in medicine with equally deleterious consequences.
If “corporatization” isn’t a word, it should be!
It surely has ruined medicine. Corporatization I mean.
Everything the corporate oligarchy touches is destroyed!
Marxists do it best. Think universities…
